That's true. I guess it's lucky for me that I love learning. :)
I think the worst thing with these jbp especially though is all the subjective and conflicting information and opinions out there one has to try and sort through to get it right. Less you're lucky enough to have the one source teaching you from the start in the right order who's right about everything.
I know it also gets confusing for especially those learning off UA-cam, books, internet etc because most ppl tend to talk about their own specific location and climate cause its what they know, so they'll say" I'll do this and that in June than in September make sure you go and something something so that in in January it'll yada Dada da and now you'll need to rah rah he ho hum. "
And the inexperienced student watching will either listen and go do it as they say when they say.... and being perhaps living upside down in the southern hemishere like Australia where they wear spiked fish hook shoes to not fall down off the flat earth into space onto the big turtle carrying it and make him mad and need to water their jbp from the bottom obviously well.... that good advice can become real bad advice faster than a dingo will steal your baby.
Hence i think I prefer when people use things like temperature, humidity, day length etc.
Anyway ultimately it's up to each of us to determine good info from bad or unsuitable info and reap the rewards or the heartache.
