So not only did I try the build to great success, you actually made me try my FIRST empire playthrough lol. Very cool 👍 I actually the bucelarii tho. I think they’re the 3rd best mounted skirmisher. Sure kuzaits are better, but everyone’s mounted skirmishers suck compared to them.
I would put 5 in Tactics instead of Roguery. It's not very good because most battles are not autoresolve, but it fits the theme of a Emperor and General than Roguery, and it helps to lose less troops when entering a sieged Castle
7:00 actually you can just use different Empire troops in different situations, like they have horse-archers, bowmen and crossbowmen, also they have legionary and shock infantry, so toy can be preatty flexable with Empire troops
You're easily the best Mount UA-camr when considering entertainment and information combined. Love what you do, brother. Keep at it. But you need to get off those fucking ponies and get into the shit with your boys more often. They aren't good as horse archers, but you can use them as mobile archers. Tell them to stay still and shoot (they are like a mounted palatine guard), then when needed, move to a flank and shoot the sides of shield walls. Just don't send them to skirmish as horse archers, they get smoked by other horse archers like Khan guards, heavy horse archers, and Mamluks.

I don’t enjoy smithing but I do like the perks of extra endurance, and vigor/control

yeah there’s nothing a legion army really lacks and the only other faction you can say that about is the aserai
their horse archers leave a lot to be desired though
