Canonically, her feet are always clean. And canonically, the Fool's Idol is an actual Idol/doll/puppet, as opposed to something that is simultaneously too human and too much like a balloon. Every time I see those terrible details, I remember why I hate the remake...

A question: i had entered the gate where gherman is sitting and i started the dialogue without refusing or accepting, but leaving without clicking anything. This just made me realize that the Mountaintops of the Giants in Elden Ring are a recreation of the cut Northern Lands from Demon's Souls, down to the Fire Giant boss having the same torso-face design as the cut giant enemy from the Northern Lands
I actually saw Vaati at a grocery store once. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.
He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
This one time, Vaati kidnapped my dog and replaced it with a porcupine. He thought i wouldn't notice. SMH

I followed your advice and watched Princess Mononoke. The monk ashitaka helped and who helped him in return is clearly the inspiration for blackhat badger. Both wears stilt shoes, are dwarves not to mention the monk carries an umbrella while blackhat sells one.

The concept of overlapping worlds has always been a great deal in the games from From Soft. I think the theory concerning Elden Ring is therefor nearly proven, besides the association with Berserk. The signs to summon help or the invading ghosts originating from other realms and timelines is an important aspect in the series and I would not be surprised if it will be the case in Elden Ring too.

Just came back to watch this video and it hit me how the Elden Ring logo makes so much more sense now. The 6 rings just like he said. The central ring being the basic ending with the 3 overlapping rings depicticting the three variations of the Elden Lord ending. The 5th ring portion on top would then represent Ranni's moon ending. And the 6th ring on the bottom the Frenzied Flame. Vaati is so good at bringing attention to these things.

I loved the uses of "Behelit" and "Gatsu" in this one towards the end. Those two and "Forces" are my favorite songs from Berserk's OST
The beast Great one in bloodborne is really cool since it finally completes the annoying thing of all the groups of enemies of bloodborne having an associated old one, probably that they got blood from. Ebrietas for the celestial emissaries and such, Mergo for the snakes and shadows, and kos for the fish-themed stuff. My brain can finally be happy knowing that there was a beast great one from which beastly enemies can be explained by.

Hey Vaati I've been playing a lot of Dark Souls 3 lately and I have some facts that might be interesting. Please forgive me if these are common knowledge, I just thought they were cool
1) In the Oceiros boss chamber, if you look at the floor, there are what appears to be a bunch of titanite slabs. I haven't translated them yet, but maybe it could reveal some interesting lore?
2) If you stay on the level up screen long enough, the Fire Keeper starts repeating her normal dialogue for when you level up. It almost feels like the lines are some sort of ritual?
3) During the Nameless King bossfight, if you block one of his spear thingie attacks, there is a chance that you will get knocked back in a unique animation if you still have stamina. You do almost a roll backwards and then come up with your shield up. If you get hit again and still have stamina, you get pushed a bit backwards. I haven't been able to see if it happens a 3rd time cause each time I lose stamina and shield goes up in the normal way.
Anyway, those are just some things I found interesting. Again, sorry if this is common knowledge.

Those cut Demon Souls designs at the end seem to have made their way into Elden Ring with the demi-humans and The Fire Giant

Outside of castle cainhurst, theres one bloodlicker in the corner that is bloated with blood,

Also, on top of the Princess Mononoki reference, there seems to be a lot of parallels to the manga Blade of the Immortal in Sekiro.

The Elden Ring logo representing overlapping, interconnected worlds reminds me of the Borromean rings, a set of three circles linked in such a way that if any one of them were removed, the other two aren't connected. It has been used symbolically in many cultures and places, usually for strength in unity.

I've a theory about why you need 8 dark sigils to usurp the flame:
According to the item description of dark sigils, we know Humanity leaks out from them, and curses fill in, correct? And from Dark Souls 1, we also know that Humanity can be fed to the bonfires as fuel, correct?
My theory is: After Elfriede tried to usurp the flame, but failed and burned to ash, Londor has been seeking new methods to do it again. Hence for the dark sigils appearing, since it can leak out all your Humanity, prevents you from burning like what happened to Elfriede. By closely observing the "Usurp the Flame" cinematic, we can actually see you burned a bit, then the fire soon dies down.
It could be a cultural thing.
In some Asian cultures, the phonetic pronunciation of eight sounds similar to that of wealth, making 8 a lucky number.
Therefore, 8 sigils for luck
I would be fine if I had never seen those attacks for the Winter Lantern.
