I saw the solar eclise in Hamilton, ON. I was able to see totality, feeling the coldness as the sky darkness under the moon's shadow. It was my first time ever seeing totality. 🌙 🌞
I'm 11, and this was my first time experiencing an eclipse in-person. I live in Newton Highlands MA [A few miles east of Boston] For us it was a partial eclipse, with it starting at 2:15pm, peak at 3:29pm with 92.61% of the sun covered, and ended at 4:38pm. At school, we went on the turf to see it [I'm in 5th grade]. You would think 92.61% of the sun covered would make it pretty dark, but even with the little sliver, it looked about like mid-dawn or mid-dusk. [The moon started covering from the bottom-right of the sun, then went on to make a little sliver on the left, the had that sliver go to the bottom-left and then the bottom, then the moon went up the sun, and the sun was back.]

What made this eclipse so rare is that the sun is at its full cycle so it is really active and that’s what made the eclipse even more beautiful

I wished I had watched it live. At least this video allowed me to see it from another state. I'm in California, so we only had a 50% covering of the sun. I bet it was spectacular to watch. Astronomy and the planets are an interesting subject to me. Isn't it fascinating to think we are always rotating on our axis around the moon and sun? We aren't feeling this, but every 24 hours, we have a new day. What a miracle to be alive! Blessings, everyone. 🙇♀️🙏✝️💞

We only got like 88% coverage in NC but we were watching with the solar eclipse glasses we got for the full eclipse in 2017 🎉😁 I also got some cool pictures using those with my phone lol it was awkward but it worked 😊

Imagine having a large brain given by a creator, and instead of appreciating the mathematical symmetry and amazing phenomenona of the moon blocking the sun, you think it's some prophecy or whatever

Some folks have spent exorbitant *thousands* to see a "4-minute" event, flying over oceans [not climate-crisis conscious] and tolerating the "sky's the limit" hotel rates. It is safe to say that these are not folks concerned about inflation. The "crazy traffic" back home must have been insult-free. After all, the eclipse "made us one."🙂

Someone should alert our fellow Americans to the amazing, inspiring, and miraculous astronomical event by which their position on the earth faces away from our local star. It happens every 24 hours. It's called "night" and it's even darker than an eclipse!
I don't understand what the big deal is.
If you saw it live you would. It turns dark and the greyish sun light bursts out from around the moon. Everything around you on earth looks all trippy and metallic and you can see UV rays (or something) raining around you. It's insane. This eclipse was more powerful than normal.

Some people like to experience what nature has to offer rather than spend their entire lives concealed in the shared imagined world of man. You can try to appreciate the beauty of the universe or you can ignore it, the universe doesn't care either way.

TIME IS RUNNING OUT.
I didn’t bother to see it either time I’m 40…for some reason these types of events don’t amaze me, I am the sun and the moon and everything else.this life is just a dream. It’ll be over in the blink of an eye. I have seen the origins of our spirits. I’ve traveled here to earth on many occasions and I have inhabited various life forms over many generations. When one ends another begins and typically you will have no recollection of your past journeys or experiences. Very few of us get to experience such a thing. Your soul will return to where it came once your time here is done and you will return as or souls are in a state of reoccurrence

It really depends on the definition. For some, there is a combination of factors. Totality near enough to reach in a way a given person can afford. Next on that exact date and time there have to be clear skies. For many people of modest means, who want to see a total eclipse it is once in a lifetime. I myself drove 3.5 hours and that was after days of watching the weather to see where totality would pass near me, looking for the best weather and then driving out hoping the skies would be clear when I got there. If you are an extremely rich person, you can see every single one and perhaps it isn't so rare.
Eclipses tend to take over 100 years to cover the same area a second time, so unless you're willing to travel it is once in a lifetime.
And they meet again the Sun is the male the Moon is the female the eclipse is the Thanksgiving , that's the Real Thanksgiving ,thanking the Heavenly Father for the Sun in the day for light,and the Moon for the light at night .The Book of Enoch .(Don't get it twisted)
