I drove an Tatra T815 8x8 rocketlauncher-truck at the army.
I liked a lot of that truck and what a sound that 19-litre V-12 twin-turbo engine made... 😎
I fell in love with Tatra when my dad introduced me to European truck trial as a kid. There were trucks of all sizes, but the big T813 8x8s with their screaming V12s really stuck with me
well just seing a truck PLOW its own way through dirt of obstacle course is enough to understand that those 813's are serious machines :D
I live like 5 miles form Tatra factory. And its really heartwarming to see this video about small factory in small town how are Tatras famous around the world. Also fun fact when I was kid everybody has its small toy of tatra called Tatrovka.
This presentation was absolutely great in every respect. I am a person who intends to travel around the world in a custom built expedition vehicle. And so, I am continuesly learning about vehicle options and technologies to help me design and build my "perfect" truck. The trucks from former soviet slave states have unfortunately been somewhat ignored unfairly, but I am well aware of the fact that these former soviet "allied" states do have genuinely capable industries in this area and are very good - case in point the MB G-Wagon is built in a former slave state - I just forgot which one but I will eventually be purchasing one - if they come out with a diesal/electric hybrid...but that's another discussion. Tatra trucks have been featured in a number of videos to share their products and capabilities and I've even seen a video wherein a Tatra is being compared to a MB Zetros 6x6. The best vehicle for what I intend to do. Please continue to produce your great videos as I would gratefully welcome more information in this regard. And who know's - a Tatra/ MB hybrid might be the best option! Well done Sir!
I always tough Tatra was originally from India, I don`t know why, and finally today I realise it is from the Czech Republic! Amazing.
Still waiting on part 2.....
Excellent video. Love truck history! Thank you.
What happen, you guys were doing so well , please come back.
Why is, there a, comma every, FEW WORDS, AND THEN…. A brief pause. I love it… LOL
Vynikající historie vozidel TATRA
Very cool, really enjoyed!!!!!!!!!!!! 👍👍👍
I love tatra
Please make a video about heavy haulage
Excellent video man
aww no mention of 97?
or even 700 (yes i know mostly facelift of 613), Metalex V8.... or that weird time they made fully electric small van for tradies in 94
or T2, T3 light railway vehicles (you know trams).
1930s Tatra was having firce competition with Praga in trucks departement too BTW, legendary stuff came out of that contest on both sides.
I'm surprised I've never seen them in the UK, they look tough as nails with that protected drive train. Are they common in continental Europe?
As always a great upload, thanks 👍
Can you please do leader trucks?
crane carrier history please😃😃
Thank you for not forgetting to tell about this living legend, who was forced to survive in the eastern social bloc. In the USSR, these machines were very popular because there was no need for antifreeze that could withstand extreme cold.
Good
Tatra have been started mass product truck after the last rear engine and luxurious car named T700 and T613
Can you do American Lafrance
Tatra appears to be the Osh Kosh of Eastern Europe, maybe the Eastern Hemisphere.
The Czech Republic and Tatra were, is and always will be in CENTRAL EUROPE
All you need to know about Tatra (company): ua-cam.com/video/oyJZknDDUTk/v-deo.html

The truck at time stamp 11:27 IS NOT a TATRA truck!! That is the Indian made Tata truck.
What happened to the young lady that used to narrate?
Her accent wasn't that much liked, not to mention her pronunciation.
@@kornaros96 She talks like fucking Chills.
I like her voice!
What upon to the female voice
What is this? A robot voice? Very tiring and more or less hopeless to listen to. I didn't manage to see the whole the episode. I tried to look at another film of another truck. It was the same robot voice. Can't take it!
