The problem is that another answer for that is also extremely plausible: the party. We already know that everyone there was participating in illegal activity in one form or another, and given the area I’m guessing that alcohol was not the only intoxicant in that house. Posting stupid sht on snap is one thing…giving the police your phone with a shitton of evidence of you and your friends getting up to not-so-legal activities long before the party (or even just at the party)….thats a different story.
I don’t swing one way or the other on this case yet-this is my first watch of anything about it-but it’s absolutely conceivable to me that a bunch of teens/early 20s would be scared of turning over their phones with evidence of them using drugs or something like that, and just wiping the whole thing instead of going through piece by piece and hoping they get it all. Especially given peer pressure: for example one or two people are doing the most, texting their friends about it, and now pressure their friends too to wipe their phones by saying they’ll be essentially snitching if they don’t. And while a lot of times (esp in murder cases) cops won’t care about any drug(+) stuff you’ve been up to, they just want info on that specific case…it’s not exactly unheard of that all that “irrelevant stuff” has come back to bite the informant just trying to help, particularly if the death is found to be completely unrelated, like say a hit and run by a semi.
Like I said. Not sold one way or the other atm, so it’s easy for me to see this particular piece of the wiped phones being for either reason. Even weed is still illegal in OK without a medical card, and people (especially teens) do stupid and impulsive things when they’re scared. (Which cuts for both theories)

Here's my take... when I see law enforcement on the side of the road, my first instinct is not to pull over and check it out. So the fact that Jack pulled over to check it out is suspicious to me and tells me he knew what would be there.

Right? I’ve driven past many incidents of police on the side of the road handling an issue and never once thought “hmmm I wonder what’s going on let me go see” even if it’s a small town that sounds pretty sketchy to me to stop and poke your nose into something you had nothing to do with.

Ya I don't know what screams " I'M GUILTY" more than deleting everything off your phones.
I believe there should be laws that prevent individuals from taking actions like deleting data, selling their phones, or performing factory resets if they were in contact with a victim within 48 hours prior to the victim's death.
These individuals should face serious charges, such as tampering with evidence or hindering an investigation, obstruction of justice with a minimum sentence of five years.
It infuriates me that people can engage in such actions without penalty. As seen in the Karen Reed case. Despite being instructed not to, many police officers and their spouses from the party where they found John o Keef's body got new phones or deleted texts, before handing phones in. WTF!

The first officer on scene reports he was not in the fetal position, per se. His back was flat on the road, but his hips were turned like he was on his side and his knees were drawn up, which is making people assume fetal position. Doesn’t mean he couldn’t have been in pain and writhing. But it also could have been the way he was placed to be transported there.

During Jack's interview, what caught my attention was not what he said, but rather what he chose not to say. He denied the idea that Noah was beaten up, but he never claimed that no one would ever want to harm him or had any enemies. Additionally, while acknowledging that he was going through a tough time himself, he never mentioned missing Noah even once. It seemed that Jack was more concerned about defending himself against the accusations and negative opinions surrounding him rather than acknowledging Noah as a beloved friend who is deeply missed by everyone. In my opinion, his primary focus in this particular interview was to protect himself against public opinion, rather than honoring Noah's memory.

There are many many factors with polygraph tests, including the competency of the test administer.
I think the teens got in a fight over girls, and Noah was beaten to death by blunt objects by several boys. Noah’s fingers were stripped to the bone probably because of how hard he fought back. After he died, the girls gave him a shower to wash all the blood off his body. Then Noah was dumped on the side of the road, staged it to look like he was hit by a truck, made a pact that nobody ever says a word, then headed back and cleaned up the house.

There is nothing anyone could say to make me believe this kid was not stripped and beaten to death by multiple other teenagers or older “kids.” The footage of the party of them playfully fighting and hitting each other, confirmed reports from his best friends own mouth that they even got into a non-playful physical fight, the affluence of the families involved and the autopsy and crime scenes paint a very clear picture and it’s not an accident or a hit and run.
This is the 4th case of partying teens resulting in fighting and a CHILD being beaten to death that I’ve seen in the last several months. It’s just devastating and so tragic… these kids have no idea how serious things can be and how easily things can go wrong. A campaign needs to be started to spread awareness to the younger generations about “fighting” (jumping someone) & how fast someone’s life can end.

Like before the shower he already had the head trauma which the girls thought he was drunk. Cuz when we were that age nobody ever EVER washed off the marker.(just for laffs in the morning) And the other injuries, nails, road rash, broken teeth were from moving him.(so 2 different times he was abused) So they dressed him in rags, drug him out to the Highway to make it look like a Hit & Run.

I find it hard to believe that Jack and other teenagers would’ve came up with the idea to make it look like a hit and run. They were all drunk immature teenagers.. They most likely would’ve panicked and tried hiding noah rather than making a fake scenario..Also they woulda only had about two hours to come with hit and run idea from 3-5..They were hammered and that’s a very well thought out idea in my opinion..I highly doubt a hammered 18 year old would’ve thought of that..I think something happened and Caleb along with other adults planned this whole scenario and did this to Noah..The property owner and Caleb are top suspects to me. Caleb killed a 7 year old girl in the past in a boating accident while he was intoxicated..He was drunk driving a boat and hit her with the propeller and he didn’t see a day in jail…Idk how that’s even possible makes me sick..I’m from a small farm town the same size as Noahs.. Also, the girl who threw the party wasn’t a teenager, she was 22. The fact that it appears that all of the party goers were involved, that’s quite a few people brainstorming ideas on how to cover it up. He was cremated for his funeral. The damage done to my friend’s body was horrific so it’s come to my conclusion that this kid was not hit by a semi . Memory is EXTREMELY fallible. Someone telling the truth will have small details change all the time. It’s not on purpose, it’s sadly just how our memories work.
Every time you remember something your brain is remembering the last time you thought of that thing, not the actual incident. Then it’s also adding in all the extra details you’ve gotten since. Add trauma to the mix and now your memory is even less reliable. Now add intoxication…
When you should be concerned is when NONE of the details ever change even a little, as that’s much more suspicious and a sign of a story being rehearsed (which can happen both for good OR bad reasons) than someone remembering something after the fact or their brain changing black shorts to white after hearing everyone else say white.

I personally remember things better when I'm left alone and close my eyes and concentrate where it's quiet. If I'm asked on the spot I won't remember every detail. But my story won't change I just add details.
Im sure finding your best friend on the hwy like that is gonna mess a kid up...anyone really . He might remember things differently after a while when his brain lets its guard down. For the rest of those kids idk. Me personally I would be completely honest, if I couldn't be sure about what I was saying, I would say exactly that.

There’s been a lot of young people dying at the hands of their supposed “best friends” and people can’t be trusted these days.

This case is so upsetting. I've listened to several podcasts about it now and I think he got in a fight that involved Jack. He was hurt way worse than anyone thought and he died. The kids panicked, put together a story so as to not get in trouble, and dumped him. The rollover in the side-by-side was probably a story just to explain some of his injuries. As far as that dad being at that party- ICK!

The wiping of the phones, the partygoers won’t shut up about what “they want others to really think happened… happened”, it feels like a collective effort to hide what really happened. And that kid’s father helping to “clean up” totally suspect. Cops didn’t check the house for evidence, are we going to get the “wiped” phones &records subpoenaed ? oh wait …the cops don’t seem to care in this case either. *holding my breath for justice* Frustrating!!!

I can’t be the only person who finds parents who party with their kids weird af. I’m still in my 20’s(not for much longer, but still I’m not that old), and the closest we got to “partying with parents,” was us sneaking booze and boys in through the basement. When parents are getting wasted, and hooking up with their kids friends…It’s giving these parents are willing to cover up a murder, vibes…..

    • @letsdothis9063
      @letsdothis9063 22 дні тому

I definitely knew some of those parents growing up. There wasn't any parents hooking up with kids or anything, but I always thought it was crazy.
Why would you take on the liability of high-school parties as an adult?
Most of these "party parents' are somewhat wealthy. Why would you risk everything like that?.
Anything can happen, and as a dults hosting an underage party, you are both criminally and civilly liable.
Of course, nothing ever happened, because it seems like the universe only punishes smart people.
