I'd expecting to see more showcases of EU-imported vehicles like other VW brands, and hopefully BMW, Mercedes-benz, Porsche, Audi and Volvo.
This is a Japanese most likely he's gonna review Japanese cars.

Why VW don't bring this in USA ...
Mahin Ahmed actually, this car is available in the USA, except it has a different look and style
Thank you as always for uploading.
Here in Germany this car is No. 2 in total sales of 2015. I think though, even this highest trim level "Highline" looks rather plain and low tech compared with japanese sedands of its class. Also DCT doesn't offer the comfort and fuel economy of CVT transmission.
I agree, DSg doesn't offer CVT's economy. It's much better than CVT in terms pf performance and economy. CVT is utter crap in every aspect.
DSG offers better acceleration, but worse fuel economy. I would use the term "utter crap" in connection with DSG reliability though.
Kamuichan99 Not worse fuel economy. Unless you're drivind at steady speed at around 60mph on a flat road - everything is better than CVT. CVT is a power wasting excuse for a gearbox, it's as bad as old style automatics. It doesn't come close to DSG in the real world scenarios.
A CVT keeps the engine running in a high load condition at maximum efficiency. By that, it's superior to every other transmission type except on very high speeds beyond 160km/h.
The DSG is an automated manual transmission with 2 clutches, which caused consecutive recalls in many countries. It forced VW to drop the dry clutch DCT in favor for a wet clutch in China and Europe, with less efficiency. And still, the jerky and uncomfortable behaviour of every DCT caused VW to exchange it in the US Jetta for an 6-speed AT.
Kamuichan99 Incorrect. CVT keeps the revs high and that's where engine produces the most power but it's not efficient at all - engine isn't the problem, gearbox is. CVT is incredibly inefficient itself and it watses much more than tiny gains from optimal engine speed (+/- 200rpm better than in ny modern automatic). Not to mention dreadful or even dangerous (overtaking) rubbery power delivery.
VW never dropped dry-clutch DSG, it's one of the most popular DCT transmissions in Europe, all VWs, Audis, Skodas and Seats with up to 1.8l displacement engines have dry-clutch 7-speed DSG transmissions (as an opion).
Вот интересно, это убожество кто то покупает в Японии???
