- I love dogs but some of their owners are ******!
This video was shot after I spent 2 mins not being able to move because of an aggressive mid-size dog. The dog was not the problem but the owner himself encouraging his dog to go after me. The dog was not big or scary but when i told the dog to get away from me or tried to move away he came in as if to bite and the owner shouted to get the **** away from his dog. The dog was either at my waist or prowling between me and his owner and MY dog which was behind the owner and could not reach.
What would YOU do here? Do you love dogs too? How would YOU deal with someone like this!
I love dogs. I'm a volunteer at my local humane society and I walk them all week plus rescued one myself. I was about to exercise my Australian cattle dog DOMINO in the local dog park (which he loves). All the dogs ran up to say hi and I gave them some love like you do but one dog kept barking aggressively at me and herded me back next to the park table. I tried every friendly gesture I know but the dog kept pushing me back on the table. The dog owner did nothing all this time telling me he was barking at my backpack, which he was not as you can see here. I politely asked him to calm his dog down or maybe leash him but he refused and I tried to tell him it was bad to let a dog bark at someone in a public place when OFF his leash. He cussed at me , called me a weirdo and told me to leave the park. I could not get my dog as the idiot's friends were petting him and keeping him from coming back to me. Eventually another lady entered the park and I got my dog and left asap. Situation was crazy cos of that man! HE could have defused the situation easily by calling his dog back but encouraged his dog to keep on barking aggressively at me. - Домашні улюбленці та дикі тварини
This happened to me, wasnt even a dog park. The woman says "oh dont worry she doesnt bite" after the dog spent ten minutes following and barking me. Stupid owners I swear.
These owners are probably the type who fail at human relationships so their pooch is their 'man' or 'babe'. It's like they are trying to impress their dog. Pitiful.
PITiful , ok I will leave now
The dog 90% wouldn't bite you. It was sertanly fearful.. But you just ignore it... Simply. Or do the 3 common things to make it stop, or not react towards you like that(and even befriend it)... But I would have just ignore it... No hate towards you 🙂
@@kikaequestrian1386 Thing is though, they should not have to. Dogs should be trained and be on a lead - and only off lead if they respond properly every time to commands.
@@rogueuniversities6866 I do agree. But there are fearful dogs which in the first 3min there is a risk they will bark at you. But if you know how to approach them. You befriend it. But I do agree. Dogs should be trained and socialised to some point so they go to places like this. When there are more then two people, or dogs🙂
This man being barked at is being very nice. These type situations seem to be taken way to lightly.
Tysm! Im a polite person by nature and here I was up against the dog, his owners AND his laughing friends so i didn't feel safe at that moment. I'm more worried that an elderly person in same situation could be very frightened. Dog parks should be a safe space for all owners imo
Lol Why did you whip out the phone? just ask him politely, im sure theres a lot of missing context here. Was that the dog park area? honestly the dog needs its exercise go somewhere else. Dog was wagging its tail @@florida4life
The dogs 'guardian' was clearly a relative of Karen's.
when he said the dog didnt bark at anyone else....what a ****.

No. He's a Kevin. Just say Kevin.
Trashy dogs for Trashy owners. What a surprise. Glad that 'Peaceful nanny' dog didn't try to nanny you. I live in an apartment complex and we have strict leash rules. I swear, 90% of the time its Pit owners who let their dogs off the leash. Like these dogs doesn't have enough bad reputation already.
Problem is that often the irresponsible owners get pits because they think pits are cool and mean, so of course the dog turns out bad. The same would happen if that same owner got a Labrador though. It really is the owner.
Pits are so trainable, and that can be used for good or bad. All that mental energy, unharnessed, will be put to bad things. But a pit with a good owner is a loving, obedient, amazing dog.
The pit stigma is a self fulfilling prophecy. Bad owners buy "bad" dogs, not "good" ones. But it's the owner, really.
@@kensithedog2053 Nah, it's genetics. Genetics combined with some bad owners. There are plenty of responsible pit bull owners that have owned their pits from young puppyhood that have gone on to have tragic consequences as a result of owning that breed.
@@shelby477 yes... about the same number that have had the same experience with a golden retriever or Labrador though. It's not the breed, it's just the fact that with any living being, you can't control them completely. There are dangerous people with what is considered a good upbringing too. (side note- a well-meaning owner can unintentionally fail at dog-rearing. it is a complex science to do it correctly)
Ive never seen a "decent" or intelligent person with a pitbull 10 times out of 10 they are all degenerates that think its cool that they have loose cannon of a dog that attacks anything
@@kensithedog2053 The percentages far out weigh with the pit breed, idk what planet your on but the differences between labs & pits regardless of ownership are night & day!
I was sitting on my bicycle yesterday waiting for the light and a Doberman bit me in the back. For some reason a 5’3 girl barely a 100 pounds thought she could handle walking a Doberman and a Rottweiler mix who were clearly not trained. Worst part is she proceeded to take off and run after she realized her dog bit me. She better thank god I didn’t have my glock on me at the time.
I HEAR YA! i was rollerblading in park 5 years ago and a womans dog jumped at me, i leapt backwards landed on my arm and broke teh rotator cuff. Arm was out of action for a year. After that i started carrying mace and a CZ... I love dogs actually but I wont be maimed by one again because of some idiot owner,
@@florida4life exactly of course if the dog doesn’t get proper exercise physically and mentally they’re eventually gonna lash out
Dobermans can be very scary dogs

Horrible situation. Hope you are infection free and zero nerve damage
damn that pisses me off i was attacked by a rottweiller once
Everyone hates on shitbuls, and rightly so, but more people should hate on their owners, and the other dog owners that are sometimes EXTREMELY irresponsible and downright deranged assholes. People who intend to bring their dog out in public need a license with psychological evaluation included.
Pitbulls are a status symbol.. rarely do we find a pitbull owner who isn't full of himself or herself.. but there are still a few responsible pitbull owners who truly love their pets.. restrain.. on leash .. and sometimes even muzzled their dog when in public place .. let no harm happen to your pet.. nor your pet to harm others..
Yes you pretty much nailed it there. A good owner can bring the best out of most dogs but a poor one the worst.
There are too many stories of families with pits for years and suddenly, for no known reason, they attack and maim or kill a family member. Quit fooling yourselves and blaming the owner. Yeah, there are bad owners but a pit is in a class by itself for unexpected attacks.
@@gingerking1866 true .. had two pitbulls and have a German shepherd. Never did I let my pitties unsupervised.. and when outside and in public.. on leash and sometimes muzzled if there are crowds.. Loved them as pets and not status symbols...
@@lawrencelou3545 Two recent stories: a woman had a pit bull for years. She had two small children. Out of the blue the pit attacked and killed the babies and the mother fought to save them and ended up with 'more stitches than they could count.' Another one: young girl had a pit. He was her dog. He slept with her. Suddenly, for no reason he attacked the girl and she almost lost her leg. These stories on on UA-cam and every places else. My younger son was 7 when a pit attacked him. Still don't know why.
@@gingerking1866 that is why owners have to take extra precaution with pitties . These dogs were bred for fighting .. no amount of conditioning can alter their nature .. yet it would be too cruel to exterminate the breed.. as a rule.. handle them as one would a high powered firearm.. a weapon... that happens to be a pet..
What's a mystery here is the mindset of an owner who thinks it's okay to let his dog bark at someone at close physical range like this. Why do people think this is acceptable dog behavior? Why such resistance to restraining your dog from behavior that disturbs another park user? Anyone have any answers?
Some people just don't have morals. Like those who can steal without guilt for profit. Those of us with normal balanced morals and a sense of fairness and empathy will always struggle to understand why the idiot talks idiot while his dog runs riot with zero restraint.
Yes.Try stupidity mixed with anti social personality disorder and sadism. The owner wants the dog to maul and then to come when called for their mutual escape from being identified and prosecuted. The dog is the stick the owner uses to beat other people with. Both a fool and a knave plus a brute equals an asshole with a vicious weapon in the public park intruding on the boundaries of Everyone.
If my dog did this (which she wouldn’t because she’s trained) I would definitely put her on the lead to make the guy more comfortable, even if it was a bit of an inconvenience
that's what i was hoping for but the guy was happy to see me worry.
There shouldn’t be buts or if’s. Putting your dog on a leash is a law.
Imagine if a kid was at the park. That dog would have definitely attacked.
Lol wagging its tail no signs of aggression, the barking is just for attention. I bet there is missing context here where the guy overreacts when the dog initially comes over, jumps and runs around, dog might think hes playing with him. Theres got to be a reason 4 people are laughing at him and doing nothing. Dude should bounce from the dog park. Buddy still should have just came over and told him to stop tho.
Sometimes you can Say that a guy Is an idiot Just from his t-shirt
Exactly! He left the house with a plan and he stuck to it with doggos help...
I love the shirt
A perfect example of trashy dog for trashy owners. Thnaks for posting.
Thanks for supporting!
That dog owner needs to be fined at least 1000 dollars for having a unleashed aggressive dog on the loose.
Park services didn't want to know. They said if the dog started attacking me I should call 911.
Wow, "he's a dog he's allowed". That owner is truly clueless.
How much $ do dog owners need to pay if their dog bites someone
in theory your attorney can ask for huge damages..in reality they just dont pay up and nothing happens.
Not enough. Why should we be getting bit because someone else wanted a dog?
Would have called the police, dog would have been taken by animal control
that would have been next step but managed to get my dog back off his friends who were playing with him and escape the enclosure. I called animal control for the park and they said cant do anything have to call cops. Seeing as the guy was obviously aggressive i didnt want escalate at that moment by calling cops .Fortunately it ended well. Someone else might not be so lucky in future that idiot not fit to own a dog.
@@florida4life here in France if a dog bites a person it's an automatic death sentence for the dog. You have to be tested for rabies too just in case and of course, they will ask where is the dog
Classic pit owners.
yup..
uhmm idk if that's fair. classic irresponsible owner, classic jerk. And some of those people get pits because of the negative stigma around those dogs, they think it looks cool.
But I get them because they're sweet and trainable. My dog would NEVER do anything like that. And on the offchance thar my dog DID do that, I'd immediately call it away and apologize profusely. Some people represent poorly for the rest of us. but they don't define us.
Not a classic pitbull owner. There are two things important here. 1 this isn't a real pitbull.. And two only 10% are irresponsible bad (abusive) like this owners of bully breeds. No hate towards, I just know what I am talking about, because I do training, adoption and rehabilitation.. 🙂
@@kensithedog2053 well said🥰There are people who take surtant breeds to look "cool", or "dangerous" 🙄
Yes! Pitbulls are unpredictable and dangerous. They should not be kept as pets!
Seems like 99% of the people in our city own a dog, and most of those owners are clueless. (God bless the good dog owners.) Every week we see bad dog owners bring their dogs into OUR yard to do their "thing". We see dog owners who don't pick up after their dogs, or those who do but who then drop THEIR dog's poop into OUR trash barrel. I politely asked a woman a week ago to please not bring her dog into our yard to relieve itself and she replied: "Are you serious? YOU need to get a life!", and as she did this her dog almost pulled her over via its' leash as it barked and lunged at me - standing in my own yard.
You can't walk down the sidewalk minding your own business without having a dog bark, growl or even lunge at you while the idiot owner pretends not to notice. Some owners have their dogs on leashes that are so long so that dog and owner can be on opposite sides of the sidewalk with the leash stretched out between them. I saw one such genius walking her dog a while ago. The dog had wrapped its' leash around a tree and the oblivious owner just kept walking as the retractable leash unwound. I've had dogs come over to me on my side of the sidewalk to bark and growl. Heck, you can't even sit on your own front steps waiting for an Uber without this happening. One neighbor used to leave her dog alone all day. It would sit by an open window and HOWL or bark every time a leaf fell off a tree. The owner didn't want to hear about it, so I finally called animal control, and the neighbor came over after to tell me that I was a "bad neighbor".
My all time favorite dog owning fool was the man who rode his bicycle on the sidewalk in a "no bikes" area, while simultaneously "walking" three leashed dogs. Pedestrians had to jump out of his way. Despite all of this self centered dog owner garbage, our city continues to churn out licenses while investing tax payer money in things like "solar powered dog poop compactors" for parks, which is a hoot, because these are the same people who whine about the environment. Read up on how a gazillion dogs are negatively affecting it.
Typical pitbull owner
No, not really. 1 this isn't a real pitbull, and 2 this is the 10% of the irresponsible owner. No matter the dog he would be the same, and the dogs breed...
He probably has a gun in his pocket
Dogs are not cool nor theire owners
i DID think the same but then i fostered a real cool dog...damn pooch changed my mind.
Dogs are cool but some of their owners shouldn’t have gotten one
After 60 seconds of this, I would consider the dog as aggressive and threatening. A swift kick would end that situation. The owner can explain to the police why it was there stupidity that required it. Dog owner myself, would never allow my dog to do that
I’m continuously walking a dog that I never adopted because I know someone who basically abandoned this dog, and I always have a leash for many reasons: the protection of the dog and of people, as well as not losing the dog. A lot of people are irresponsible with pets and they don’t even always acknowledge how irresponsible they are. This doesn’t surprise me at all.
That dog is not going to live a long life. Someday, someone will retaliate with lethal means.
carry dog spray and use it, on the dogs and the owner
4 dog owners and not one can see anything wrong with the situation. Typical dog owners. Why can't dog owners just have a dog and keep it to themselves?
Unbelievable. I hate that guy in tie dye shirt.
He needs to be forced to "give a fuck", as he put it. I don't like that woman who was smiling about it either. These people get these dogs to take over areas and pretend they're just out and about.
Yesterday walking 2 of my friends dogs on a lead in a public park. We were harassed by 7 unleashed dogs .
Boy did give the two owners a piece of my mind. Then I had to go find one of my dogs who pulled out his collar and ran off.
i hope that piece of mind comes as violence hehe but we all know thats bad for all
Thisbis so dangerous they shouldnt be allowed dangerous dogs God forbid if a child or another small dog gets killed. People like that dog owner make me sick
Not that dangerous in the right hands but this guy? You're right it's an accident waiting to happen.
i always carry if a dog comes to me aggressively i go for my gun and enter a stand off. only shot two so far. but hey thats just me. i dont like to shoot animals but if its me or them. im gonna choose.
Dogs are not animals they are mutants
I carry mace now. Less chance of a lawsuit!
Most pitbull owners are delusional.
Wild dogs tamed temporarily doesn't mean u or anyone is safe.
It's the dog/owners fault for anyone whom gets hurt.
My sis dumb enough to own pitbulls and both her sons had there faces bit with scars but oh the dogs so innocent bs is annoying to me.
dont worry, thats the type of guy to eventually meet a bigger dog or guy that fuck him up
If a dog is barking at people usually that's the dog attempting to issue a command trained dogs don't typically do this. In their house the dog calls the shots probably because they are feckless idiots
Stand up for yourself! 🐱

As bad as it sounds, someone else likely would have kicked that dog or worse... and probably will someday. That owner is playing with fire.

This is why you THINK before getting a dog

It's a young pit with idiot owner it's a shame for the pit owners like that shouldn't own this dog.
I might be extreme,, though I'd have the dog removed from those people and give them a hefty fine, along with community service.

Good to expose them loonies, always is as long as the pathology conducted for their wayward behavior is appropriate for the enforcement. it is the selfishness that needs to be challenged, if not from my experience that just an insult directed toward these extremists for their needs have to resort to violent actions. this is to be the only deterrent for such unruly entitlement and gladly, it does work.. so if you are regularly outgoing for any particular place and don't want that to change in your life even if it's for frequenting average suburban business areas in the middle of a capital city, get a body camera.
Exactly. It's the mindset that needs to be changed. Guy was literally getting his dog to earn him some respect (although that was a sick idea for sure)
He ran into the right one that day. If it was me his dog would have been kicked in the face.
Aaaaaannnd, of course its a pit. Put owners are the worst
Nailed it. Pit OWNERS. Pits don't chose the ***hole but every ***hole wants a Pit.
I have Halt spray and a small sharp srew driver. My leashed dog was nearly killed by another dog. Never again
This is why you need to carry a gun in the USA.
I think it was more the appearance of the dog pitball looking than the actual barking itself.
For some reason after covid, lots of people started letting their dogs run around off leash at a place I used to walk at. From 2008 - 2022 I walked there without problems then in about one year I had three bullshit run ins with off leash dogs, including getting bit on the back of the knee, and having the final incident with one jumping, snapping, and growling at me. Americans are getting weird with their dogs. It makes me think of the Ancient Egyptians with cats, and Hindus with cows.
I never go to those parks (wierd people, dog fights, sick dogs and so on) but for those who do. Pet corrector. Keeps u n ur dog safe
Ugh. So sick of bad dog owners.
I think they outnumber us :(
Ikr? It’s not that hard to put a dog on a leash. How stupid can they get?
If I had a dog, I would train them properly. Then if I met some idiot like that, I'd set the dog on him after warning him.
Pitties are lovely but do take on their owners personality. Never blame the dog they are just doing their job. The owners are the only problem

That's actually how I've always referred to them. Like playing Russian Roulette, you just never know when one will go off. Personally, I think they are beautiful dogs and I love dogs. But they are basically too dangerous, in my opinion, and it would break my heart to have them banned/destroyed. I really can't think of any other alternative.
i hop in the futur the will be banned in all countris in this world they are monsters.
The owner shouldn't have acted like that but I think you were being a tad dramatic he wasn't out to hurt you.

The dogs barking at you it’s not illegal
In America, an untrained dog barking off his leash is illegal. Espically if the owner is aware of what's happening
@@psychobillynumbnuts1 Thank you! Finally someone spots what should be obvious!
It's not illegal to use bear spray for self defense either.
I have to say. As a certified dog training instructor/behaviorist, and someone who has worked with over thousand dogs at this point in my career, the dog's body language didn't show any signs of aggression. Simply barking at you is not necessarily aggressive, although I can understand it feeling that way if you don't know how to read the cues. The dogs eyes were not dilated, indicating no aggressive intent. The ears were back, which is a sign of submission, and the tail was low, which is another indication that there was no aggressive intent, and the type of bark it was doing was not a bark that means aggression. Honestly, the dog most likely just wanted you to either pet it, or play with it. Some dogs are kind of rude when they ask for attention. The owner should have been more chill though, and called his dog over. Also, to all of the people trashing pitbulls, the annual temperament tests that get done always have all 3 pitbull breeds in the top 10% of dogs with good temperaments. The test usually consists of at least 150 different individual dogs from each breed, or as much as they can get for the test. So the sample size is pretty big. People need to understand that any breed can be a bad dog, and it is based on whether or not it was bred well, and also trained well. Learning how to understand a dogs "language" makes it much easier to navigate these types of situations. If it was me in that situation, I would have just called the dog to me to pet it, ignored it, or just simply walked around it and left, as I can easily tell there was no issue, as far the dogs intent goes. The owner, well, that's another story. Of course I understand not everyone is a dog trainer for a living and are not as equipped to make this assessment, so I totally get your reaction.
So as I understand the dog was okay with your dog. But barked at you? Just ignore it. It's clearly fear bark, but not aggressive... And this isn't "basic pitbull owner".. This is basic bad owner which take specific breed to play thought. I personally would go to the dogs level and befriend it.. Or use another tactic... I hate those 10% of bad "pitbull" owners(this isn't a real pitbull)... I am glad you are a normal person and aren't hating or blaming the dog. If the owner told the dog to get you, we'll that truly is horrible and bad. What did the other dog owners do?
Typical. Blame the victim
@@psychobillynumbnuts1 I m not blaming the victim, aka the person on who is the dog barking. He just shouldn't react, or if he saw the owner is irresponsible (which he is) eather live the park, or ignore the dog. No body is blaming the "victim".. The owner of the bully is at fault here, and an idiot 🙄You Americans should read the text better.. Or use your brains when reading the comments. I just informed the person what type of dog this is and that he just should have continued what he was doing=ignoring it.
Frankly the reason you don't just ignore a dog like that is because a dog like that, meaning any of the bully breeds or mixes, has a higher chance of coming after you. There is a reason almost all homeowners insurance companies won't cover those breeds. Yes, many dogs that are not bully breeds may behave that way, but if they attack there is much less chance of serious damage.
@@shelby477 Bully breeds are same as any breed. And it depends on the situation, but here he should have just ignored the dog. In USA they maybe aren't covered, but in my are.. Why? No irresponsible owners, incidence including them are very rear, and if they happen they see why it happened, and 95% it's caused by a human.. They aren't unpredictable. I worked with many of them, and they are as any other dog. No hate towards you. It's just in USA its very different then Europe.. In many cases, not just dog related. 🙂Goodbye.. And again no hate
@@shelby477 And about other breeds not doing, that is doing less of a damage isn't true.. Sometimes yes... But I've seen serious damage from labradors, Dalmatians.. And other breeds.. Even small ones.. Again no hate, and goodbye
