Quick question for you: Followed this tutorial and finished everything in MD. When I export the alembic file and try to bring back into C4D, C4D says "unable to open file" Other .abc files work fine. Im running C4D s24 with the newest Marvelous Designer. Do you know why this is happening?
Hi, great tutorial!!! i still have troubles with triangulation after re-importing, the phong tag makes it better but the triangulation ist still visible. any ideas? i tried subd-surface but also not getting perfect results... thanks and keep up the good work
Hey Markus, thanks for the cool tutorial. I tried your technique and it works really well. I have only one problem: when I export the Alembic file from Marvelous Designer and open it in C4D, I don't have any UV's. Do you maybe have a tip for me? That would be great :)
Thank you for your quick reply. I have found an answer in the Help Center. For anyone who has encountered the same problem, here is the explanation from the support team: "In fact, the problem you mentioned is our software issue and has been reported to our development team. This will be updated on our patch version upcoming next month (February). Sorry for the inconvenience!"
Thanks 3DBONFIRE🔥🔥🔥
WOW! So COOL! Texture details are awesome!
now guess where I share lessons on "texture details" ;-)
@@3DBONFIRE when ?
@@lucmansion5633 ...I think I shared some texture knowledge on my patreon...
excellent explanation, everything should be that easy and fast, very PRO
Yeah, I was so fed up with the poor cloth performance of C4D´s native tools, so... I learned some new stuff👍.
Awesome work, Markus!
Thanks Mike👍.

Hi there, again, amazing. Which render engine did you use for this?

is there a reason why you not using the GPU simulation in MD?
Yes, of course. GPU Sim tends to make collision errors
wooow!
Thanks Riccardo🙂
