For me personally, the biggest use for this massager was getting me loosened up after waking up when I was recovering from plantar fasciitis and super stiff and barely able to walk in the morning. My former wife sold my 1st one when we broke up, I lost my second one due to flooding in my basement apartment, I bought one for my brother and I’m about to buy my 4th one right now! 😸
OMG! I agree I love my Human Touch Reflex 2 I have had mine I run it basically everyday for 30 minutes easy for about 5 years now! Im going to upgrade only because I was moving it and dropped it the bottom foot fell off but its stills runs amazing. lol Thanks for the review!
@@Jimfromearthoo7 yes I use it at least three four times a week...lol now I lay it on my bed and let it rub my feet until I fall asleep... I am 6'5 so the cavs part can't reach mine so that's a little uncomfortable but over all I love it.
Dennis Sharp good question. The massager reaches 13” from the bottom of your feet. It should reach your calf muscle with no problem, but since you’re taller, I’d recommend measuring the distance of your foot/calf to make sure it would reach. Thanks!
Hari Hara Subramanian, good question! The Arthritis foundation recommends slight pressure massage (like a comfortable rolling massager would provide) because it helps to stimulate pressure receptors that transmit pain relieving neurotransmitters. In terms of vibrating massage, this can also provide pain relief by blocking pain channels. I’d try both! But generally, light pressure massage is effective for relieving arthritis pain.
Hari Hara Subramanian M - typically I recommend ice to reduce swelling and inflammation as related to arthritis pain. Heat will increase blood flow, which some would argue promotes healing. But generally ice is recommended as a way to reduce pain/soreness for arthritis. It’s ok to try both or to alternate between them! Always check your skin to make sure you’re not burning yourself (with heat OR ice) and limit exposure to prolonged ice or heat, using a cloth to as a barrier for the skin.
Hello and congratulations for your videos !!! I watch them from Greece and i find them very motivational. I would like to ask you if this massage equipment is suitable for recent stroke patients that aren't capable to walk a lot. Would it help them with blood circulation for example? I am asking since it's not the case for tired feet that stood up all day. Thank you in advance and keep up the excellent work !!! :)
Hi Tim, thanks for your reviews! I'm looking for a recommendation and I hope you can help me out. I'm looking for a foot massager. And i sort of narrower it down to Bob and Brad massager, Human Touch Reflex PopUp Foot Massager and Renpho. It sounds that that Human Touch is very good brand, but do you mind to share your thoughts or even review the Reflex PopUp Foot Massager?
Yes, it helps to relieve pain and soreness from plantar fasciitis but exercise, stretching, and activity modification has been shown through research to be the best solution for plantar fasciitis.
Hi there Tim! I feel like my feet and especially my calves are very tight! I do massage my calves myself, though I know I'm not completely squeezing and smoothing out those muscles and trigger points. I'm wondering, what are your thoughts in relation to visiting a PT and asking them to completely smooth out my calves. Would that be possible?
Samantha Martinez I think it could be really helpful. Might need to look at doing calf stretches and other strengthening, so it might be worth a visit to a PT.
Samantha Martinez if they pain/soreness goes up into the calf, I’d say the massager could be helpful. If the pain is isolated to the Achilles’ tendon near your heel, the calf massager will probably feel great, but I don’t think it’s going to be the solution. Best of luck!
I just tried this model. It's a good foot massager, but not very good calf massager...the calf part is pretty loose...wish it was tighter on the calf area.
Got the Reflex5s on ebay that was in box not used. Perfect and clean. it only ran for 30 seconds and the foot rollers never turns on. Called the company and they said the warranty only goes to original purchaser. So No support for a new unused item. Bad Customer Service.
I bought it new and can’t speak for their customer service, but it makes sense that they’d only honor the original purchaser. Sounds like someone sold you a broken unit on eBay.
It’s not false information. There are massage balls at the bottom of the unit just as the picture shows. The massage moves upwards as the sequence of massage balls engage, providing an upward massage. There are quite a few massage knobs in the unit so of course it’s not one massage ball that moves through the entire thing.
@@PTProgress Can you please make a more detailed video of the unit running showing the locations of massage balls and the process it goes through? I think you mean rollers at the bottom of the feet shown in picture.
@@Vincee3 If he was an average person or a salesman then I would not mind the flattery language but he says he is a Physical Therapist. That gives him more credibility so the expectations are higher for what he says. He basically shares his opinions while he comes up with some anecdotes off the companies ad which makes him untrustworthy. There are no balls going in figure 8. There are rollers and paddles that squeeze your feet and calves and pull on them with an upward motion. I am familiar of such massagers and how they are designed and built. Yes they do work but no match for a massage by human and will never replace a human. So really this is not review, not to mention a detailed review. How about put a camera with the unit turn on. Remove the liners so that we all can see the movement of the paddles and explain whats happening and how it really feel. Well at least one person below agrees with me and looking for a review.

Similar issues, is there a version you like now that is better or do you still go with this one?
What a way to start a video I’m sold already!! 😂😂😂
Ordered one today the Human Touch Reflex SOL. Should be perfect for me!

which is better to relieve arthritis pain?A massager with roller or vibrator?

Thanks so much!
I’m very interested in purchasing but don’t see any reviews on that. Any feedback would be helpful
Reviews are on Amazon
Does this help with restless leg ?
Only thing that concerns me about this massager is if you have a size 14 feet like I do. The tip of your feet will be untouched

I mean what is the disadvantages of using Naipo?
Hello, are you able to lay this product flat on the bed so that the user could be laying down for the massage?
It’s possible but you might have to prop it up with pillows to get the right angle

Have you (could you) compare this to the Cloud Massage Shiatsu ™ foot massager?
Does it feel like fingers? I hate the roller fake massagers..
Is the the fabric removable/ washable?
Do you know what the difference is between this model and the sol model? Which would you recommend? Thank you!
I’m not sure since I don’t have the other model to compare

seeking heel scraping finger touch foot massage machine? anyone know about it?
How many years did you have it?

The disadvantages of Naipo
Looks nice but these other brands offer one that can easily use while laying in bed. I hope they have that design.
