Gorgeous gifts that anyone would love to receive. Thanks for showing us how you wrap loaves. I'll be using that tip in the future.
Wonderful recipes! I have a large family, so these recipes make the perfect amount!
I'm excited to see more videos!
This is an incredible resource! Thank you!
What beautiful gifts!!
Thank you for the beautiful ideas. This is exactly what I was looking for.
Amazing
Does this dough freeze well?
Do these freeze well. If I freeze them to gift them closer to Christmas, should I glaze or put the powdered sugar on when I thaw them.
How important is melting the butter and sugar together for the filling??
Wow those are beautiful!
I've never heard of Kamut flour can one use all purpose and whole wheat flour?
You can use all purpose
If you don't have brown sugar. Put some molasses in your white .
Do you have a video showing how you shaped the knot?
ua-cam.com/video/-8NJ4RCscIg/v-deo.htmlsi=EOoZDDyMEyTgCT5R
These are Fantastic!! How far in advance can I make them?
How do you keep your sourdough from having that off flavor for sweet desserts/cookies? Does the ratio of flour:water with the starter when feeding matter?
Feed it more often to lessen the sour taste.❤
I love what you did with the sourdough bread wreath designs. I printed the recipe, it does not give gram measurements. Does your cookbook use grams or just cups?
For those of us who have been struggling with sourdough starter, but still want to give the gift of homemade bread how much active dry yeast do you think we should use for this recipe?
To make a faux sourdough starter with yeast, mix and let rest/ rise for 20-30 minutes. use in place of active starter or discard.
1 tsp yeast
120 g water
130 g flour
Tie your hair!
Where is your apron from?
Darling - I loved everything about this episode - from the kitchen decorations, to the antique bowls, to the recipes, the gift boxes, and your wrapping tutorial.
Will you please add links to your banneton baskets and the silicone bread slings? Many thanks! Subscribed and shared!
I just made my first sour dough star! It’s was so fun to make and it’s delicious!
Thank you for this video! So many great tips and gift ideas!
Awesome!!!
WOW WOW WOW - Beautiful job! I thoroughly enjoyed your video. Thank You - ♥️ From Tennessee
Absolutely beautiful works of art! I'm inspired to make some as gifts for our pastor's family and our Life Group!
Thank you, Ash!!! ❤ you have such a big heart to share with everyone 💓 it is definitely a great community of women doing this❤❤❤ Merry Christmas, and God's blessings to you and your family at this joyus time of celebrating our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ today and every day🙏💕
Just joined your channel and I love what you do. I saw you on Farmhouse on Boone. I can not even get a sourdough starter let alone do all this. I will try again.
Can you make these desserts ahead of time?
Nice tutorial, Ash! Just found your UA-cam channel today. I must have been living under a rock. 😂 Happy December!
Lovely tutorial. Very helpful and instructive…one comment. You have lovely hair but it was distracting and not hygienic to have your hair waving into the food prep…suggest tying it back, in future…Thanks again.
Hi from Switzerland also watched the podcast with Lisa😂 Lots of Love from Jenny
Hi from Canada. Thank you SO much . Very talented . Now I need to bake. ❤❤❤❤❤
Tried this with almond milk. It is way too tacky and not dough like. May let it sit in fridge to see if it firms up. Otherwise will buy some goat milk and give it another go, Have you heard of any alternative plant milks that work?
Does anyone know what “cinnamon dough” is? I just use my sourdough dough and add in the extra ingredients depending on what I’m making.
Hi from Southern Nevada. What a beautiful episode! So much talent. I enjoyed your podcast with Lisa (whom I absolutely adore) on Simple Farmhouse Life today and am now watching your UA-cam backlog and enjoying the share of your new build.
Thanks for being here!!
Just watched this post holidays. Will definitely work on these presentations. One question. The one time that I let bread cool on a rack on the parchment that it baked on, there was lots of moisture on the bottom so I realized that the parchment isn’t porous enough for the steam on the bottom to dissipate. Is this not an issue for you?
Thank you for this video! Can I get the name of the book you have there?
Such great ideas. I’m new to Sourdough baking and try and find all the tutorials I can.
It is my sourdough book! For the Love of Sourdough www.thefoodnanny.com/products/for-the-love-of-sourdough
@turnerfarm do you know when the cookbook will be back in stock? ❤
Your mixing bowls are so pretty, were’d you get them?
Nice tutorial! Lovely gifts…I’m looking forward to try my hand making sourdough bread. Thank you Ash🤩🎅🏽🎄Merry Christmas 🤶🏻
Merry Christmas!
Lovely😊. Absolutely lovely!
Hi Ash can you share your Sourdough bread recipe? Hanks
How long after you bake your sourdough bread do you give it away ?
Just happened onto this. Thank you for all the options. Your tutorial is wonderful. I'm frantically going to make the star today between church services 😅❤
Do you have a video on a basic loaf of sourdough and how to make one
Can you give us the link and size of your boxes
Beautiful gifts❤lucky recipients! Thank you for the detailed instructions!
Merry Christmas
Hi can you add to the description were you get some of your cooking tools and jars. Thank you

Thank you for sharing! You are amazing! I'm so excited to try this.
I love how genuine and sweet your content is. Your page is a beautiful place. Plus, the parchment paper ambience is amazing 😂 I was so relaxed.
I’m loving that you are doing this on UA-cam! 😊
Thank you !!
Wow! Perfection!
Where is the recipe
So glad you are on you tube!!! Love your content and cookbook!!❤
I tried to wrap my bread like that, but my loaves were way too big! How much do your loaves weight?
They are about 850grams before baked
Hi I found you from the video with Lisa. These are absolutely gorgeous! Thanks so much, can’t wait to try these! New sub! Merry Christmas!
If using a mixer for cinnamon roll dough, does it need to pass window pane test?
no it does not
Those are terrific gift ideas!! One question about the gift boxes, I’m thinking whatever you put in them will dry out quite quickly even with the parchment paper? Do you have any suggestions the best way to store them once boxed? Should they be kept at room temperature or refrigerated? I’m also curious if the chocolate chip bread would freeze well? I love gifting people food as well but I find it difficult because I’m never quite sure how far in advance I should be making the food gift and how long it will remain delicious in the packaging that I chose. For example I make gingerbread cookies every year but I know if I store them in plastic the cookies will remain soft and almost melt in your mouth but the exact same cookies when stored in a tin lined with parchment paper will become crispy and completely different then the ones that retain their moisture. Just curious if sour dough is the same or how it might be different? God bless and thank you for your lovely video and instructions. Btw I saw a little one sneaking in behind you during part of this video that I thought was super adorable!🥰❤️🙏🏻🇨🇦🍁
Just found you! My favorite was the knot you didnt show 😂 do you have a link to a tutorial on the knot??? ❤
What courage wearing black!, 🤣.Just found your channel. Really enjoy your energy. Many thanks for sharing
The link to the recipe for the Christmas star- does that make one star or are those measurements intended for it to be split to make 2 things? Just wanted to make sure I understood 😅.
Thank you so much for sharing. I cannot wait to make these this week❤
Thank you for sharing these great ideas. Do you use the same cinnamon dough for the breads with the added chocolate and skor bits? Thanks
Is there a process to bake the sourdough loafs? I was under the impression I could only achieve a crusty finished with a cast iron pot. Loving your channel thank you.
These were baked in a cast iron dutch oven! :)
@@turnerfarm ah thank you. Are loaf molds placed inside?
I found it on your Instagram thank you 😊
Love your channel what recipe do you use for a plain sourdough bread? Thanks
Wow, absolutely stunning!! Thank you for sharing these ideas. I have been needing some fresh ideas for gifts. These are perfect.
These are beautiful. Does your recipe show how to make it without the sourdough? I don't have any sourdough.
I enjoyed your videos and thought I would try your cinnamon rolls. I just started my second attempt at sour dough starter two weeks ago. Since I have been saving my discard, I tried your recipe. Although the rise time was a bit longer, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of rise from dough after baking. I baked them off in a muffin pan. I used half whole wheat flour and half ap flour. Thanks so much for the great recipes
Such a great video!! Thank you 😊
Thank you ! :)
A suggestion for cutting the strips for the giant cinnamon roll: use the long edge of a metal ruler to cut the strips.
I just found you from Farmhouse on Boone, I’m a fan! I just subscribed 😊
So excited about your channel! I've been a fan on Instagram! Saw the cutie peaking around the corner!
You can add a little molasses to your sugar if you don't have brown sugar.
W do you make the knot? Your breads are beautiful! 🎄
What is the exact size gift box you are using, please post all dimensions, please and thank you! I will be making these and found you also thru Lisa at FOB, liked and subscribed! Can’t wait to try more of your recipes and I am now looking for a round bread lame like yours, if you are so inclined, please do post a link to where you got yours. ❤
I would also love to know the pan and box sizes
Love this idea! Can you freeze these? Do they thaw well?
Made the star , they came out wonderful. thank you
When you do the Lindor chocolate, do you cut them up?
Beautiful! I tried to make it though, and as someone else had said, the filling oozed out EVERYWHERE. I used the recipe from the blog, and used half of the cinnamon/sugar/butter mixture as directed. In the video, your mixture looks a LOT thicker than mine. I melted it in a pan like the directions said. Yours looks like just softened butter?? A lot thicker. I would love to try again because it tasted delicious! It just looked like a bit of a disaster. 😂
Mine too 😂 making notes on my printed recipe now!
Amazing sourdough gifting video!
Where can I find this recipe?
Great video! 🥖
Hi I just made 2 wreaths and they are delicious but don’t want to give as a gift because while baking the butter and sugar oozed out and made it bake in a puddle of syrup… did I miss something? I followed amounts ?
I’m interested in this too..mine are in oven at this moment…and also are now being baked in a puddle…
Mine too 🤷♀️
Mine too, so then I used much less as she does in the video. Also, you can refrigerate the pastry before popping in the oven. May help. Also, she used cast iron.
