Got to admit. I too have both the WOC and Mini Rect but I still prefer to use my WOC as a daily bag cause it’s super carefree. But the Mini Rect definitely give the whole entire Chanel classic look to it.
I see a lot of vloggers carrying authenticity card with their bags but I was told my an SA at chanel to keep those cards at home in a safe place so in case if it ever gets stolen you have evidence to verify that you had that bag and report insurance if u have it.
@@IreneSimply for sure I would start a good practice by designating a safe place for all luxury receipts and cards or else of it really happens on day your giving thieves the whole package to resell it.
I have similar feelings about my small classic flap vs the WOC. I’ve used my WOC way more, and continue to use it a lot, but aesthetically and in my heart that small classic flap is my favourite (even if I don’t use it that much). I would say the WOC is definitely my best cost per use by far of probably any luxury bag I own (besides my Neverfull) even with the $4k Canadian price with taxes.
Omggg the small classic flap would be the one other bag I would purchase from Chanel, but their prices are insane now haha definitely love the woc though, and I used to think that people just overhyped it! Now I understand 😂

This has been so helpful! I recently purchased the WOC in pearl crush so I get the vibes of both the mini flap and WOC however the turn lock from underneath the flap is crooked which is making it look crooked. Going to the Chanel store and hoping they can fix it
Mini allows you to put your sunglasses on top! Living in sunny California, this is a must!!! You can use a flat cardholder and you can't fit sunglasses in the WOC. Mini is the best hands down. I have both in lambskin AND caviar. I was lucky to find the mini 2nd hand market a year ago in the caviar. I do prefer the lambskin mini, though! GREAT video!!!

Hi ! Was there a time when LV Mono Vernis Perle Read PM Monogram.does not have a date code? My aunt and I were trying to authenticate an old Vernis white bag. The bag size, the monogram design is on point. even the stitches ,the color of the thread, the color of the inner lining. the lock,the hardware,the stamp,the zipper even the LV near the handle does not overlap.The only thing we noticed is that there was no date code. Accdg to my aunt that bag was given t her by her aunt in 2009 .But that *yutulu* was gifted to her aunt in 1998. There is only a slight discoloration but it looks fantastic.

Fellow Canadian here! Great comparison video! I have the Chanel Mini Rectangle on my wishlist for this year, but I’ve heard it’s ridiculously hard to find in stock in Canada, is that true? I also heard that you have to have a good relationship with an SA, buy smaller items to build your rapport with Chanel, and you have to be put on a waitlist if the bag is not in stock - depending on your relationship with your SA, they will give you priority. Do you know if you can just call Chanel boutique’s and request to be put on a waitlist? Is this how it works? Thank you for the informative video! 😊
Hi Sophia! Thank you for the comment! I think there’s some truth to this idea of having to build a relationship with your SA, but it’s not necessarily always true. For instance, I don’t own many things from Chanel and I don’t really have a strong connection with my SA. I guess it does depend on your luck and who you get to talk to at the boutique. The mini rectangle is hard to find because it’s considered a seasonal item so once it sells out, you’ll need to wait for the next batch to arrive in boutiques. Not only that, but because the neutral colors are highly sought after, it makes it even harder to track one down. I was on a wait list before I finally got mine. I hope this helps!

It’s worn beautifully, and it has no signs of wear and tear at all. I live in a very dry climate, so sometimes (like right now) the leather looks slightly less puffy but all I need to do is rub in some leather conditioner and it goes right back to being shiny and puffy!

There’s been no wear and tear on my bag! I’ve had some minor surface scratches, but the beauty of lambskin is that surface scratches are easily fixed by just going over the scratch with the microfibre cloth it comes with and with some leather conditioner!
