    Вот же чудеса какие! После сборки механизма, смазка не потребовалась, замена резиновых деталей не потребовалась, юстировка головок не нужна ( случайно так собрал с первого раза и все настройки совпали! )) ) Шлейфы погорели так, что сплавились их жилы - ничего! Достаточно заменить конденсаторы в фильтре питания и все. Остальная электроника, чудесным образом, не пострадала, даже проверять не стоит! Настраивать тракт по сервис-мануалу - лишнее, пустая трата времени! Пассики все в идеале оказались, по другому и быть не могло...Как результат, кассета заиграла качественно с первого раза ))). На запись только не проверил, но это, понятное дело, тоже работает идеально ))). Что тут скажешь...восток - дело тонкое и полон чудес ).

      А полная регулировка магнитофона где ? Она весьма сложна , нужен генератор нч , осциллограф , тестовая лента и т.д. Сам профессионально ремонтировал высококласную аппаратуру магнитной записи , поэтому в теме.
      Видео - фэйк.

    You must have spend al lot of time making a working cassettedeck look like it was completely dead before you started the "restoration".
    Glue, sand en probably acid on metal parts. After cleaning and random replacement of some capacitors, it was working without any adjustment.
    I am sure we have to start looking this video at the end and then scroll back to see what really happend.

    This is impossible! There is no way that all the mechanical and electronic parts survived all the moisture and dirt! Also u didn't show that u calibrated anything. And finally the rubber belts. From the date on the motor we can see that it was manufactured in 1993. Once i repaired a cassette deck from 1999, all the belts had turned into a sticky mess! I have no idea why pepole think that this video is legit...

    • @craigstaggs8597
      @craigstaggs8597 2 роки тому +11

      To be fair the "restoration " is totally fake but Technics belts hold up really well and rarely turn to mush .... The deck is from 1981 / 1982 .

    • @beograd07
      @beograd07 2 роки тому +3

      I dont think restoration is fake. He never showed if the belts are original or not, so he could have them replaced, but the deck is not restored. Not fully .It just works but not as it should. If you listen carefully there is a lots of wow and flutter in the sound I am sure it was not in original recording. Also one channel is way out which is probably easy fix with head azimuth adjustment. He probably screw them in all the way both sides @ 17:23 as he didn't know what is it for (the one with the spring on one side). I can see he is trying to turn slowly input (recording level) knob looking for some effect which has nothing to do with playback and then he got excited about the counter reset button working and even pointing at it with his finger. On the other hand it is true for the technics belts they do last a long time (not submerged in the mud). I still have my old Technics RS-B765 from late 80's connected to my computer amp and it still works. This deck has DD motors for the drive but for spinning the tape and lifting the heads and closing the door the belts are still working now.

    • @easylaptop

      its not legit

    • @gattech
      @gattech 2 роки тому +3

      It was not restored to original operation. At 18:10 you will see a flat ribbon cable. This cable is part of a flexible board with switches and hall sensors. They send control signals to the logic control board that goes at the back of the tape transport mechanism. The cable is broken. It does not have the portion that connect to the control board. The control board it nowhere shown anytime on the video. You can also deduct that by noting he never do any FF, REW, STOP or PLAY command at the front panel controls.

      Xacto!
      Total y absolutamente falsa!
      Acabo de mencionar algunos interesantes detalles técnicos, más arriba.
      Por ejemplo:
      En el video, el volúmen de la supuesta cinta en reproducción, al final.....varía (sube y baja), al mover los controles de NIVEL DE GRABACIÓN (input level). Eso NO debiese suceder, pues la cinta NO ESTÁ SIENDO GRABADA, sino REPRODUCIDA.
      Con aquella falsa acción, queda totalmente demostrado que todo el proceso de reparación es un absoluto engaño!

    Yeah I don't think so. Clean-up with a water hose, soldering iron that looks barely fit for plumbing jobs, and somehow you've got access to all the right parts for that specific deck. I'm sure timing belts just grow on trees where you live. All that for a deck that sells on eBay for less than 30 bucks. Pretty sure this was filmed and edited in reverse.

    As a hobbyist electronics technician and cassette enthusiast, this is impossible. The tolerance for a motor it +-25Hz @3000Hz, with that much rust and moisture, that motor would not do that.

    Envy on maties! This is why Asia cleaned up the 70's electronics wars with the U.S. E.I. Because a young man living in a modest place has the drive, gumption, hunger and "'eye of the tiger" to step on all the Debbie doubters B.S. This engrossing restoration is practically an impossible miracle though (right channel wasn't balanced) lingering issues remained. Hats off to this guy and I'll keep watching in respectful amazing disbelief 👍.

    I used to repair all manner of this audio equipment once, and after thousands of jobs there was a clear correlation between how well off and classy the owner was and the way it was looked after. People like bricklayers were the worst and people from council houses. At the other end of the extreme the hifi might not necessarily be very expensive, even if it were in a huge house, but it was immaculate condition even if over 20 -30 years old. That one looks like it was owned by pigs in a pigsty!

    This was amazing he got skills he must of had worked for Technic company at 1 time. Wish i had his skills + parts cause Technics cassette players are great players. I have 2 of them 2 different models a few yrs newer then that 1 he brought back to life. But both of mine need new play heads & recording heads cause i warned both out. Cause of playing, recording cassettes & making mix tapes. He showed me how detailed the work is & now showed me i don't have the skills & the heads are hard to get a hold of + spendy these days. Yesterday it took me 5 hrs to fix my Sony cd dubber 5 single trays that the door wouldn't open up. I was lucky that i got all 5 trays to work again & didn't have to buy parts. But i know i'll have to buy 4 rings that work the wheels which might be hard to find if the future cause there getting loose. But for now it's working well again.

    No tengo palabras para describir esta obra de arte que ha realizado nuestro amigo. Impresionante, no creí ni por un momento de que pudiera llevar a cabo dicha proeza. Mi querido amigo, mi más efusiva enhorabuena por esta gran labor que ha realizado. No me imagino la cantidad de horas invertidas en dicha aventura. Le mando un gran abrazo desde Las Islas Canarias (España). A la espera de su siguiente maravilloso vídeo.........................Un saludo y cuídese mucho.....................

    Ive seen these fake restoration vids all over Facebook too. The moment he takes the garden hose and blasts water all over the electronics is a dead giveaway.
