It never ceases to amaze me. No matter where I catch NBA content when talking about Jokić eventually everyone shows their hand about how little they understand Jokić. If you think Nikola Jokić is the type of player, who would suggest ask or request a trade then you have not been paying attention to the kind of player person he is.Requesting a trade is what other superstars do. Jokić is unlike any superstar we have ever seen. He accepts challenges keeps his word and enjoys the puzzle of the game and playing as a team almost more than just winning.

5 reasons the Nuggets have struggled. 1. Murray sucks. Nuggets say it's not injury related but never seen such a physical drop off from a player at 27. 2. AG has missed a ton of games--he's the heart of their defense. 3. Braun is a very good defender but different than KCP who was great at getting over screens and staying attached to quick guards. Those guards are just decimating the Nuggets from the perimeter and in the paint. Braun does well on big wings but not explosive guards 4. Bench is bad but that's been true for years. 5. Joker missed 3 games waiting on the birth of his child. That cost the Nuggets 2 sure victories which would have put them at 14-8. With that record nobody is panicking, especially with AG missing most of the season.

Exactly. They are like 2 L.games behind 2nd place while missing AG

Damn you and logic. 'We need to burn everything to the ground' doesn't demand any such nuances.

If they signed Jamal for 5m + 50m if they win championship or 35m for winning western conference 20m for winning 2nd round 10m for winning 1st round 5m for playoffs he would play much much better because it's huge difference between 5 and 55 but now he's getting 52 no matter what

guys, ur way off about Jokic's possibly wanting out etc, he's never going to do that and the Nuggets have nothing to worry about on that front. he plays for the club, it's a European thing. he's not going anywhere, he isn't uprooting his family etc. just because Murray or MPJ haven't lived up to expectations. 0% chance of that happening.

Can’t believe more teams didn’t try to snag DeMar DeRozan. Crazy

This one is on Malone, Booth and the family, ultimately, Murray is not worth half the money he got. Similar case with MPJ. In all honestly, I never liked Murray, the dude is typical loser. Got lucky to play with Jokic, otherwise he would be a non subject.

Geez thats exactly the dense response the Internet loves. The guy had an incredible finals and bubble but is a typical loser?
      😂😂 Projection.

@@vlada oh you crack me up bud. insult a complete stranger because you do not agree with the stated opinion. you must be a winner. skip the fact he is in his 8th year, inconsistent, injured and nowhere close to being an all star. in reality, what i stated is based on his whole career, what you stated is based on one season. Dense you say... 😀😀😀

I feel terrible for Hali because he knows he is hurting his team as the system is built around him...Perhaps the coaches can adjust some schemes to use more of #Pascal #Siakam skillsets.

This Nuggets team feels like it was constructed by a husband and wife duo that don't see eye to eye and may secretly hate each other. The husband = the coaches. the wife = the front office. To the outside world, they looks like a happy couple with no complaints but there are so many red flags you wonder who will retain custody of their 18 kids when the divorce papers land.
The coaches won't give minutes to players the front office signs, which tanks their value. Players can't improve if they don't play. Sometimes those anonymous bench guys get shipped out for nothing and turn out to be really good. Look at Jay Huff balling out in Memphis. Boy they could sure use a shooter off the bench like him for 2 mill a year right now.
The front office overpays too many unproven players and signs them to long term deals because they think they know who "their guys" are going to be in the future. This forces the coaches to play them because now they are stuck with them for at least 2 years.
The coaches DNP them anyway and stick to a strict 8 man rotation that we know is probably going to result in heavy minutes for starters, increasing their injury risk and resulting in an empty gas tank by the time they reach the playoffs. Thats how it went last season.
This misalignment of interests has now left them with a team that cant shoot or defend the 3 consistently in a league that is about shooting a lot of 3s to impose an arithmetic problem on everyone else: shoot as many efficient 3s as we can, or never catch us with 2s.
It turns out that arithmetic problem is still unsolvable even if you have the best player in the world putting up mad numbers. Against the Cavs, Denver shot 0-4 from 3 in the first quarter. The Cavs shot 10-17 in the same time frame. Completely unsustainable. They were a low 3pt volume team last year. They are even lower this year.
Denver's 3pt volume is a serious problem. They need to shoot more efficient 3s than ever but one of their best shooters (Murray) is in a 6 month+ slump and looks mentally and physically checked out. They need to guard the perimeter more intently than ever, but they lost their best perimeter defender (KCP). One of the 2 players they signed in the summer (and whom they spent their valuable tax payer MLE on) is currently a permanent DNP. Deandre Jordan is getting minutes over him and his twilight year was 6 years ago.
They are hard capped at the second apron and have no picks so they can't trade their way out of the roster they have without breaking up their championship core.

jamal never bought into `find other ways` philosophy.
hes just too entitled and delusional about being `special` that he almost never give ANY effort on defense. And he is NOT a great playmaker or passer (Russ is, even at 36, way better at it).
So... its a mental/character problem. And those are a doozey.
the `not going to Aarons huddle call` episode is a tip of the iceberg. Lockerrrom is not happy with jamal and his attitude.
