    I love that you said year 3 because developmentally that's what it is for Cade And while JB replacing Monty is worth _at least_ 10 wins by itself -- I'm still convinced he was intentionally trying to lose until maybe late December -- this _IS_ a much better roster. For one they are a lot healthier so they aren't playing G-League guys but Tobias, THJ, Beasley are just better than Bogey, Burks, Morris. Plus the young guys are all a year older and that _really_ matters at their age

    Spurs could get like 12 first round picks and Chet for Wemby from OKC. Should they also trade Wemby cause he might not be great in the future and has injury risk? So dumb

    This is maybe the dumbest opinion I’ve heard in a podcast. I don’t think bald guy should be on a basketball podcast. I don’t think he should be allowed to even watch basketball. Comparing just getting started 22 year old Paolo to 29 year old over the heel PG13 on a max deal is not the same. The only players you can trade Paolo for are Wemby/Ant. I wouldn’t even trade him for cooper flagg

  • @blablablaa14
    @blablablaa14 15 днів тому

    The Presti plan wasn’t to trade 22 year olds that are promising. It’s trading all stars before they decline. Paolo is not the same as 29 year old PG13. Not even close. Your argument is so so stupid you shouldn’t even be on a podcast. You shouldn’t even watch basketball if this is your opinions

    Paolo cost is 7 firsts if I am the magic. He has the potential to be top 5-10 in the NBA. Yeah if they offer you Wemby for Paolo you take it. But otherwise there aren’t any young guys who are to the level of Paolo

    Does Houston have anyone definitively better than Paolo (or Franz)? 6'10 versatile with size is not easy to deal with. Paolo got great size and is thoughtful enough to be atleast average on defense when it matters. Paolo takes another efficiency leap and what is being said about him ?

    It never ceases to amaze me. No matter where I catch NBA content when talking about Jokić eventually everyone shows their hand about how little they understand Jokić. If you think Nikola Jokić is the type of player, who would suggest ask or request a trade then you have not been paying attention to the kind of player person he is.Requesting a trade is what other superstars do. Jokić is unlike any superstar we have ever seen. He accepts challenges keeps his word and enjoys the puzzle of the game and playing as a team almost more than just winning.

    @truehoop TV guys, ur way off about Jokic's possibly wanting out etc, he's never going to do that and the Nuggets have nothing to worry about on that front. he plays for the club, it's a European thing. he's not going anywhere, he isn't uprooting his family etc. just because Murray or MPJ haven't lived up to expectations. 0% chance of that happening.

    This Nuggets team feels like it was constructed by a husband and wife duo that don't see eye to eye and may secretly hate each other. The husband = the coaches. the wife = the front office. To the outside world, they looks like a happy couple with no complaints but there are so many red flags you wonder who will retain custody of their 18 kids when the divorce papers land. The coaches won't give minutes to players the front office signs, which tanks their value. Players can't improve if they don't play. Sometimes those anonymous bench guys get shipped out for nothing and turn out to be really good. Look at Jay Huff balling out in Memphis. Boy they could sure use a shooter off the bench like him for 2 mill a year right now. The front office overpays too many unproven players and signs them to long term deals because they think they know who "their guys" are going to be in the future. This forces the coaches to play them because now they are stuck with them for at least 2 years. The coaches DNP them anyway and stick to a strict 8 man rotation that we know is probably going to result in heavy minutes for starters, increasing their injury risk and resulting in an empty gas tank by the time they reach the playoffs. Thats how it went last season. This misalignment of interests has now left them with a team that cant shoot or defend the 3 consistently in a league that is about shooting a lot of 3s to impose an arithmetic problem on everyone else: shoot as many efficient 3s as we can, or never catch us with 2s. It turns out that arithmetic problem is still unsolvable even if you have the best player in the world putting up mad numbers. Against the Cavs, Denver shot 0-4 from 3 in the first quarter. The Cavs shot 10-17 in the same time frame. Completely unsustainable. They were a low 3pt volume team last year. They are even lower this year. Denver's 3pt volume is a serious problem. They need to shoot more efficient 3s than ever but one of their best shooters (Murray) is in a 6 month+ slump and looks mentally and physically checked out. They need to guard the perimeter more intently than ever, but they lost their best perimeter defender (KCP). One of the 2 players they signed in the summer (and whom they spent their valuable tax payer MLE on) is currently a permanent DNP. Deandre Jordan is getting minutes over him and his twilight year was 6 years ago. They are hard capped at the second apron and have no picks so they can't trade their way out of the roster they have without breaking up their championship core.

    5 reasons the Nuggets have struggled. 1. Murray sucks. Nuggets say it's not injury related but never seen such a physical drop off from a player at 27. 2. AG has missed a ton of games--he's the heart of their defense. 3. Braun is a very good defender but different than KCP who was great at getting over screens and staying attached to quick guards. Those guards are just decimating the Nuggets from the perimeter and in the paint. Braun does well on big wings but not explosive guards 4. Bench is bad but that's been true for years. 5. Joker missed 3 games waiting on the birth of his child. That cost the Nuggets 2 sure victories which would have put them at 14-8. With that record nobody is panicking, especially with AG missing most of the season.

    jamal never bought into `find other ways` philosophy. hes just too entitled and delusional about being `special` that he almost never give ANY effort on defense. And he is NOT a great playmaker or passer (Russ is, even at 36, way better at it). So... its a mental/character problem. And those are a doozey. the `not going to Aarons huddle call` episode is a tip of the iceberg. Lockerrrom is not happy with jamal and his attitude.

    I agree Catline Clark is more popular but I think that says more about the terrible marketing the NBA is doing with the younger stars than catline Clark herself . They only focus on LeBron/Steph/big market team. They are doing a terrible job at marketing the younger stars if they aren’t in a big market or Wemby. Wemby’s nba media push literally over shadowed the entire draft class prior to him

It is enough to look at the hysterical reactions to Trump's victory on the Internet, where one can conclude whose voting group is more extreme. If you decide to talk about sports, stick to that topic. Relax people, we in Europe know much better what real fascists and nazis look like. I will not read the replies to my message because I know they will be toxic.
