The salad is similar to the one i learnt to make from the chefs at my workplace (i technically don't have to, but i help them prep often)
It's usually based on 2 cans of tuna in oil, about half to 3/4 gold reinet apple, about a whole large pickle, a bit of parsley, deep fried capers and mayo and a slight amount of ketchup and sweet chili sauce
    Really wonderful stuff

    Nice... Thanks!
I find pickles missing (although the capers do something like that to the Tuna salad) but this IS a very rich (ah, filthy-rich?) sandwich.
To my taste, a different bread (sour-dough, a little more elastic with bigger holes) with almost no butter, and the tiniest crust under the broiler would be preferable, because your byte doesn't cut through it like it was cake -- rather you need to chew on the bread, and by the way, also enjoy more the taste of the salad that stays in your mouth longer.
But that, of course, is a matter of preference - and there's honored place for both styles...
Thanks for yet another mouth-watering video Chef!

Hi Chef! Another great recipe! Please consider doing a Christmas Whole Roasted Duck recipe. No one else on the internet has put a really good one out. We really need your help with this one. Thank you so much for all that you do!

I’m so glad you asked! I need a good duck lesson too! I’ve got one in my fridge thawing right now, so if you do a show on cooking a duck, it’ll be too late for mine, but there will be another day for another duck!

It’s early morning as I’m eating an open faced tuna sandwich with my homemade bread….half a slice of course, when your tuna tutorial popped up! I’ll trade you mine for yours anytime…lol Great edit Jack. I did my own editing and enjoyed it tremendously! Smiles

Love the capers; lose the tomatoes. Green onyons versus red. A delightful sandwich elevated by homemade mayo. Maybe use the mayo to toast the bread? You're such a great teacher, Chef. Thanks.

Thumbs, up to the Brie!I!! like to add whole coriander, seeds to the tuna salad. I suppose saying coriander seeds is redundant since coriander is a seed...

When I made the dressing and tasted it, by itself, I wasn’t too crazy about it; there was some strong flavor I didn’t care for. Probably something I put too much of, who knows.
However, with great faith in my favorite chef I proceeded. Sure enough, it was excellent once mixed in with the other ingredients!
I used canned white meat chicken from Sam’s, because that’s what I had on hand & needed to use it anyway.
    It was delicious.
As always, thank you Chef JP for sharing your skills with us!❤

Many thanks for the inspirations you give;)!
Talking 'bout inspirations... I think I'll try this tomorrow. Only that I'll replace the tuna with leftover roast chicken. I don't like fish very much.
