That's something that at times, turns me off in asia, which is the rubbish. In Australia, in the 80s, the government started a campaign called Clean up Australia and I'm proud to say that today, it's frowned apon to litter. Most people clean up after themselves these daysI! t's really good that you guys are doing something similar! 👍👍👍
Not here at least in parts of negros oriental the government does not put any importance on garbage what people can't burn they take and throw along the sides of the street every night he'll stay and smoke everywhere
I think until housing and middle class population widens littering can't be overcome.

I want to live the beach lifestyle. Beautiful sunsets to enjoy walking, jogging, strolling etc. Great source of negative ions and grounding for health. Sounds of crashing waves, morning air, refreshing sea breezes....oh so much to appreciate! Michael, are you sure you don't want to come back to sub zero degree weather and high cost of living in Canada?

It is funny how we hate or dread the rain here in America. While people in Asian countries love the rain.

A friend of min from India told me years ago, it is funny to him how in America the description of a beautiful girl may often include : “she is sunny & bright” or similar adjectives; & he said in India the lovely girls are more often associated with phrases such as: “beautiful like a stormy sky or a still cool night…”.
The 1st time I met my girlfriend in Philippines I called her Pookie in grocery store and everyone snap there heads around and looked at me, Kayshell told me that meant Pussy, the next day at mall I called her KiKi, everyone looked at me again. Kayshell said that means Pussy in Philippines, I said I give up now with nicknames I will just call her Kayshell 😂

Someone may have commented this earlier, but another one from past (learned from older generation Filipinos), is Pom Pom girl. I don’t know how or if Canadians use the term, but in USA it used to & I believe still meant a member of the POM POM SQUAD, in high school or middle school or whatever. Could be linked to one of the school bands, or a separate entity. The squad dances, performs routines, often using Pom Poms (USA lang - fluffy streamer balls that the performer shakes, or holds in hands & the team utilizes throughout performances -may make designs etc. I’m over explaining! Y’all kno what I mean🙂. But in Phil, in Tagalog, used to or maybe still means…prostitute. More fyi. ( knew immediately what M called C, it must happen all the time). {A name for portion of human anatomy used by Phil, not a medical label but used often with kiddos, is also a common Western name, usually a feminine name.}
