Saw Goose in Cincy a few weeks ago, first time , didn’t know the music well . They blew me away , incredible . And the way they do these dead covers is amazing , love this band !
Present for all three nights and I loved how on night 1 this set a tone. The Dead themselves played this tune in this hall a handful of times, so I wonder what the walls thought if they were listening.
Excited for the upcoming shows in Salt Lake & Missoula! Hoping my wife finally gets the Hot Tea she's been waiting for since 2022, 7 shows and no luck. Hot Tea at the Kettlehouse just sounds poetic...C'mon...Let's GO!!
@@bennybo1 So agree...what an awesome pair of shows in Montana. I'll be back every time Goose plays there. Such a beautiful venue and great people in the crowd.
All 3 nights were epic & several JOTY candidates imo, but this Miss 1/2 Step cover put me in my happy place immediately. Love when Goose & Orebolo cover the Dead, some of the best covers out there!
Definitely hit up the Edgefield in Portland & the Cuthbert in Eugene if u can! Both great venues to see an amazing band like Goose & they always throw down in Oregon! 🤩
Dumb comment. You can listen to Dead&Co, Phish, Goose, and many other jam bands and experience excellent music. You’ll find comments like this often made by people who don’t know a thing about playing an instrument or composing music. Ask them what a 2-5-1 is and they will be clueless, yet they assume the position of Judge and Jury lol 😂. Goose is great. Phish is great. If you want to get nitpicky about it Phish in fact covers many many more styles of music then Goose and have a far larger fan base for a reason.
@@rolansereny7565 Except in my case I'm a musician playing for 45 years and know full well what a 2-5-1 is, and I do compose my own music that is more complex than a 2-5-1. I've also seen Phish at Nectar's and hung out with the band at a private after show party and at a Boston practice session in 86. I saw the Grateful Dead about 50 times and never once saw them use stage props although I wouldn't have minded seeing a classic NYE Bill Graham production with some midnight antics, but thats a different beast altogether. Whats your story?

Jerry and the boys never imagined this degree of energy or super crescendo licks would take us to outer space like this goosing does!!!!
It left Mississippi a long time ago and said toodle-oo way back when.

No trampolines, matching outfits, vacuum cleaners, or grandma's dirty old dress. Just pure great musicality!
When is the last time Phish had trampolines?
