My question is: do you think it’s best to start your own business right away, or to gain experience working at a spa or something first? I actually went solo straight out of esthetics school! However, I know it’s not advised, I did do a ton of research and practice before hand with seminars and trainings to gain more information!
@@LAREALNAE I went to one in my local area. It was called California Cosmology Academy but I looked up esthetician schools near me and there was a few. I went to go see 2/3 that I picked. I definitely did some research before getting into one but I picked based of classroom environment, classroom theory. I hoped this helped and good luck ✨💕

Iv been looking at getting a space and I see that alot of people operate out of an office rental, I'm a bit confused as I don't know if a sink w hot and cold water is required in texas, also a mini salon license is when you operate out of a salon gallery, or is this not the case? I would like to start off in a small office space but not sure if that is acceptable.
I think starting in an office space is fine, however you will have to pay for laundry, wifi possibly, you'll have to find your own water source etc. It's much easier for people to find you when you work in a salon suite with other hairstylists, lash artists, nail techs, massage therapists, estheticians, etc.
