bro when you evacuated the water out using the system I just said out loud My type of co worker right there! Outta here onto the next! Keep up the passion, it shows in the way you talk about every step and tool used.
At the end of all the experiences I've had spending my hard earned on various pricey pool cleaners, the hose and commercial grade vacuum head with the 'weather strip' inserts has been the most effective AND reliable method to get my pool clean. I'll gladly take the physical exercise over pool cleaner hassles and let-downs at this point.
Been a pool guy for over a decade an I should know more about pools but I can handel many accounts an keep them in clean an working condition I excel at pool care more than major repair but I think that's what separates techs in the business pool care can be a headache for some r.i.p roger bonk pool king
Thank you for this video. I have a pool with a lot of wrinkles in the vinyl liner that make it very hard for my vacuum head to glide along the bottom. I waste a lot of water vacuuming to waste. Will a vacuum head like this one help with that?
It might work fine for you. Just be careful it doesn't get caught on the liner or it might tear. I prefer putting a Zodiac Ranger in a vinyl pool and let that do the vacuuming for you.
i wonder why people just don't use a pool cleaner hooked up to their skimmer or side port 24/7, what is the most common reason some pool accounts you have don't have a cleaner? do they just don't like the hose hooked up at all times? i swim occasionally and i don't mind the hoses floating in the way, it doesn't bother me, but what do people who don't have a pool cleaner installed say?

Great instructional video. But us pool guys know that even with these great instructions, the owner still going to mess it up 😅
I love your videos the BBB method has saved me so much money and whenever I have a question your videos always answer!

You should of showed them the return line trick for the hose did you use a drop out for that or if you have a suction cleaner you can go off that hose
I've got a sperate video on vacuuming from a suction cleaner hose. Trying to keep it simple. 😀

Not sure the percentage of pools that have a cleaner but all of my pools do. I think many just don't see the benefit of them.
Should I let the filter back wash so it doesn't go in the filter
No need. Let it go into the filter & backwash if needed later.
Leslies vacuum head vs the Pentair Provac series vacuum head....which is your pick for best?
The Pentair ProVac is superior in a direct comparison. This one is great for the homeowner.
Do you have the pump in the normal mode or to the waste setting.
Normal since it i a cartridge filter and lacks a multiport
How much clearance is there from the bottom of the vacuum head to the bottom of the wheels? I ask because some #78 pea gravel has fallen into my pool
Should be good. You can lift it up slightly while vacuuming as well.
@@SPL Thanks so much.
Is Leslie’s pro vacuum head comparable to Pentair’s pro vacuum head?
The Pentair ProVac is more "Pro" - its wider and has rubber seals on the bottom. For the price this is a solid vacuum head.
What brand of pump and kind of pump was that
Hayward TriStar Vs.
Is it possible to acid wash a pool without draining it?
United Chemical has a "No Drain" Acid Wash product but a drain and acid wash is best
@@SPL Thank you for your information. Will try it and let you know.
