I bought the Bahamas book because I was going there. I’m going to buy this one not only because the Bahamas book was so spectacular but I spent a lot of time in France as a youth, mostly in Paris and in the north traveling through Normandy, Brittany and the chateaux of the Loire valley. I have such fond memories of that time and hopefully this book will inspire me to go back and also finally to go to the Cote D'Azur, of which I have never been.

All of these books have been good so far, I have two others. I look forward to reading these ones. They do simplify the reconnaissance of Bond locations and provide descriptions that make you feel the breezes on your face. Afterwards you will swear you have been there.

Sorry to say, but the era of the Bond movie is dead, figuratively and literally. It died after Skyfall and will never be the same. The momentum is gone and any reboot will be littered with modern themes of apology and inclusively. Books are the only way the franchise will survive.
