@@xemguides9845 no they won’t do a big release like in 2016 which is why they added this to their terms of service. If you don’t sign in to your Microsoft account for 2 years then your whole account gets deleted so that means the gamertag will be freed up but the exceptions to this rule are accounts with outstanding balances on them or if there is an active subscription(game pass, gold) on the account. Since inactive accounts get reset every 2 years there’s no reason to do a big release anymore and that means they reset either way.
How do gamertag sellers have so many accounts? I know you need a Microsoft account per xbox live profile, but do they just make random email accounts with random passwords? How do they come up with the email account, like if you sell an account you also sell the email address.
