I love how intentional your closet is. I agree that being conscious about what you wear and bring into your space is very important. I’m still learning as I say farewell to my 20s.
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you resonate with that intentional approach-it really does make such a difference in how you feel about your space and what you wear. I think it's wonderful that you're embracing this journey as you move into a new decade! It’s all about learning and growing at your own pace, and it sounds like you’re on the right path. Wishing you the best as you say farewell to your 20s and welcome the next chapter!
I have been watching you from the beginning but since my family and I moved recently, I wasn't able to watch for a couple months. I was so surprised to see you've changed the name of the channel and this video that's uploaded yesterday already has 10k views! I'm so soooo happy for you! Can't wait to binge watch what I've missed. More blessings, Kyra Ann! 🤍
Unfortunately, if you have wide feet or high arches, you do have to spend the money on good shoes. I’ve definitely learned this over the years! One brand I really like (and I know it’s not cheap) is Aetrex. They’re worth saving up for and if they don’t work out for you returns are easy. They occasionally do have sales. My feet cannot handle cheap shoes! I have found the cost per wear over time is worth it.
Thanks for sharing your experience! I totally agree-if you have wide feet or high arches, investing in quality shoes is really important. I’ve heard good things about Aetrex, and I’ll definitely keep them in mind. It’s always great to know about brands that prioritize comfort and durability, even if they’re on the pricier side. I’m all for the cost per wear mindset, especially when it comes to footwear! Appreciate the tip, and I’ll keep an eye out for sales!
I never really comment on UA-camrs videos, but I love your channel and what you stand for. Coming from a woman with wide feet, I’d say the most comfortable slippers I’ve found have been crocs. I know they’re kind of ugly, but they do have different styles. And they tend to last me a long time. I really like this video and it’s inspired me to downsize on my wardrobe. With love from the UK ❤
Thank you so much for the kind words! It means a lot to me that you took the time to comment. I completely understand about wide feet-I’ve heard a lot of good things about Crocs, I just don't like the look at all! It’s great to hear they’ve worked well for you. I’m so happy to hear that this video inspired you to downsize your wardrobe! That’s a huge step, and I’m sure it’ll feel so freeing. Sending love right back to the UK, and thank you again for your support!
Key kyra, just an FYI that breast reduction procedures are covered by medical insurance as long as you report the back pains and what it does to you. Coming from an insurance specialist. Let me know if you need help!
Yup!!! I had a breast reduction back in 2019, I was only 19 years old. And insurance covered it:) maybe just 200-300$ co-pay! and the rest was covered! You just have to say you have neck and back pain!
Right now, my insurance isn’t the best due to my income, but I’ve had a discussion with my doctor about it. She mentioned that with my fluctuating weight, even if I were to get the surgery, there’s a high chance that the issue could come back. It’s definitely not a one-time fix. Large breasts run in my family, but I know that once I lose some weight, they’re usually the first thing to change, which is actually a good thing for me. The key for me is really learning how to maintain a healthy weight, and I’m focused on making that a priority.
My daughter just had a breast reduction, she had constant back pain, insurance covered it, and she not only looks amazing but all pain is gone Kyra I see you changed the channel name and I love the views you are getting, I’m so happy for u
Your voice is so soothing to listen to!! Great reminders that any wardrobe is not a forever wardrobe- esp when our weight fluctuates. You just saved me a $200 online shopping spree 😅
Hi Kyra. I see you have a lot of Old Navy items. I have been shopping there forever. Their clothes fit my body and they last forever. I only buy from there when there is a sale. Everything always goes on sale. You don't have to buy expensive clothing to have good clothing. I have had expensive items that washed terribly and looked awful. I have wide feet and i have the Ghost sneakers and walked around Italy and Ireland with them with no pain. I just wanted to give you a piece of advice from an older woman. I' m 66. Never wear shoes that are too tight or cheaply made. You will develop bunions, knee problems and back problems when you get old. Trust me from someone who knows. I have a pair of SAS dress shoes that I wore to a wedding and danced for hours. They were pricey but worth it and I only wear the for special occasions so they will last. Love your videos!
Thank you so much for the thoughtful advice and for sharing your experience! I completely agree with you about Old Navy-I'm a big fan of their clothes too, especially when they’re on sale. It’s amazing how well they fit and last! I really appreciate the tip about shoes, especially since I’m always on the lookout for comfortable, well-made footwear. I’ll definitely keep in mind the importance of investing in quality shoes to avoid issues down the road. It’s so kind of you to share that wisdom, and I’m glad to hear you’ve found something that works well for you! Thanks again for your support, and I’m so happy you enjoy my videos!
Kyra, I just want to say thank you so much for changing my life. While I haven’t been able to buy directly from your affiliate links (I’m from the UK) I have found alternatives to products you recommend and I’ve always struggled with minimalism but slowly over the years I have always tried ti adopt more minimal practices. It has saved me so much money, but more importantly given me a strong value of knowing that “things” are not always important but life, health, happiness, and these types of things are. I have been influenced by you to buy period underwear, I have a similar pair of pyjamas, I have the reusable car grocery bags, cooked some of your recipes, I can’t even think of any more at the moment but I know over the years I’ve always looked up to you and trust your recommendations and love your style and just everything. You are my true comfort UA-camr, I will always support you and I wish you could earn so much more from UA-cam because you really deserve it, I feel that you are so genuine in your content and hold really strong values which feels rare nowadays. You deserve so much and just thank you for everything ❤ I always try to watch ads in full because that’s the way I feel I can support you most, please encourage us to do this more and don’t feel bad for it, you need income to support yourself and reach your goals ❤️ I hope you get to buy a house very very soon ❤️
This is a great video. I keep my bras in my underwear in a basket in my closet as well. I no longer have a dresser. Regarding back pain and bras, too am a big size and getting measured in a bra store is key. A good bra can really help with back pain. Unfortunately Fortunately, bras are so expensive. But I find it it’s worth it. It really helps my back when I have a good bra and my posture.
I like the simplicity of your wardrobe. Regarding the stressing about not having something for get togethers, I had the same problem. Try the thrift store if you haven’t already. I found one pair of black trousers from the there and I have one white button up shirt that is good quality and that’s what I wear for any dressy occasion. I actually use a cute pair of black sneakers for dressy shoes 😂. They work since they are all black and just blend right in. Also, let me add, I like your accent. I’m from the south so it sounds so unique and different to my ears.
Thank you so much for the kind words! I really appreciate your advice about the thrift store-I’ve been meaning to check them out more for versatile, quality pieces. I love your idea of using black sneakers for dressy occasions-such a clever way to keep things comfortable and stylish! And thank you for the sweet compliment on my accent! It’s always fun to hear how others perceive it. I’m so glad you enjoy the videos, and thanks again for your thoughtful message
I dont think it's too extreme, as long as it's just enough for you, so you can be comfortable and presentable. I encounter the same "problems" as I age, not wanting to show too much skin or wearing too tight clothes, hence why I often steal my BF's clothes. I think its just a thing as you age and become more mature. I would add the formal black dress to your Job Interview and comfortable shoes, that are soft. I always had the same issue with my wide feet, but there are affordable dupes from Vivaia online, flats that feel like socks, molding into your form. Just a recommendation :)
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! I completely agree-it’s all about finding what makes you feel comfortable and confident as you age. I’ve definitely been gravitating toward more relaxed and less restrictive clothing lately. As for the formal black dress and shoes, that’s a great suggestion! I’ll definitely keep that in mind for interviews once the dress fits me properly again, especially the idea of comfortable shoes. Thanks for the recommendation!
You need some new tank tops girl! Lol love how neat your closet is! Maybe another good idea is putting portable lights in your closet so you can see better.
Thank you so much! I totally agree-the dress is such great quality, I can’t bear to part with it either. Once I lose a bit of weight, I’m sure it will fit perfectly and make for an amazing outfit! I really appreciate the encouragement and your kind words. 🤍
Amazing minimalist wardrobe.. I like it.. I also like black clothing .. the wood hangers and wood shoe rack match nicely..and weight loss is a journey and takes time.. I lost 55 pounds in just under a year now I’ve gained 10 pounds.. but I’m almost pushing 40.. a work in progress always..😊
Hey Kyra! We wear the same size and I also have a problem with my toes being squished in regular shoes. I highly recommend trying out barefoot shoes when you are able to. Barefoot shoes are made to be foot shaped so they provide ample room for your toes. I’ve been wearing a cheap Amazon pair since July and they are even more comfortable than my sketchers
When I just started my minimalist journey, I eliminated all colors from my wardrobe except for the basics because I was so overwhelmed. I didn't even have that many clothes but the way everyone was treating their wardrobe you'd think buying clothes and never repeating an outfit was the biggest achievement. I couldn't even figure out my favorite color! Going minimal removed that false narrative and anxiety from my life. Now I only have pieces I like, don't care what anyone says about my style, know what colors I like and why. I think when going through weight change it is best to stick to neutral colors and be patient. That's what worked for me and I'm glad I had the patience to save my money
Thank you so much for sharing your journey! I really resonate with what you said about feeling overwhelmed with all the pressure to constantly buy new clothes and never repeat an outfit. Going minimalist definitely helps clear up that anxiety, and it’s so freeing to focus on what you truly love and what works for you. I completely agree-neutral colors are a great choice during times of weight change, and patience really is key. It's inspiring to hear how much clarity and confidence you’ve gained in your style. Thanks again for the thoughtful advice.
I love my skinny fit jeggings, they are SO comfy. I'm currently refreshing my tshirts and tank tops. For our light-less closet, we bought motion activated chargeable lights that stick on the ceiling
Regarding slippers, I've always been frustrated by their limited life span. It's a bit unconventional, but for years, I've used fake crocs, the clogs, & added socks in Winter. I have seen fake Crocs for sale with furry linings too.
Thank you for sharing your experience! I totally get your frustration with the short lifespan of slippers-it’s something I’ve noticed too. I love your unconventional solution with fake Crocs and socks for winter! It sounds like a comfy and practical option, especially with the added warmth of furry-lined versions. I’ll definitely keep that in mind when I’m on the lookout for something durable. Appreciate the tip!
Been a subscriber for some time now and I truly aspire your mindset about things and would love to have a minimalist but functional wardrobe too. As always love love your videos and Milo is so adorable he's with you when you're filming. My cat will turn 5 too this coming year. Can't wait for you to have a curated closet someday that you truly love. ❤
Thank you so much for the kind words! I’m really glad to hear that my mindset resonates with you-it’s always great to know that my journey is inspiring others. A minimalist yet functional wardrobe is definitely something I’m working toward, and it’s encouraging to hear that you're aspiring for the same! And yes, Milo is always hanging out with me during filming-he’s my little buddy. How exciting that your cat will be turning 5 too! Time really flies. I appreciate your support and can’t wait to continue working toward a curated closet that I truly love. Sending lots of love your way! ❤
For dress pants. Have you checked out Abercrombie and Fitch? I got the Sloane Curve trousers during a holiday sale. Great quality. I originally had only one color; the light taupe, and then save money for black and navy blue. It can be dressed up for work/ interviews, or dressed down to go to doctors appts or run errands.
Thank you so much! Your support means the world to me. I’m so glad you find the content helpful, and I truly enjoy creating these videos for you all. It’s always worth the effort when I know it’s appreciated! ❤
Thank you! Milo always loves being on camera. 😊 As for the job search, I’m keeping things a bit private for now, but I really appreciate the good luck wishes! Your support means a lot to me-thank you again!
That’s awesome to hear! Old Navy definitely has some great options for finding jeans that fit well. It’s always such a relief when you find brands that work for your body, especially when jeans can be so tricky to shop for. Thanks for sharing-I’ll keep those in mind for my next jean search!
I wish I had more options with drying but we pay for commercial washers like the Laundromat and the most temp control we have is medium (which is still very high), high or no heat. Lately I just been air drying to save my clothes and money these days.
To be honest I don't go to events that much. The last wedding I went to was maybe 12 years ago and when it comes to parties I usually skip the whole family gathering these days since I live very far away from my hometown and sent feel like driving or the hassle of getting ready and rushing around. Sounds crazy but I'm more focused on finding myself these days along with finding a job than going to events or partying.
I tried there clothes, I’m actually not that size but I’m in between sizes right now. One month I will loose weight and the next month I will gain weight. My sizes these days are a regular Xl, large or medium. And I honestly don’t like the style they have at torrid at all. My kind of style is more banana republic, aritzia or anything that has a more modern feel. Hopefully I can get back down to my normal size and wear the clothes I feel most comfortable and confident in.
Thank you so much! I’m really glad you like the space and my outfits-it always means a lot to hear that! As for introducing my partner, I did share a video featuring him a few years ago, but I ended up taking it down. I’ve since decided to keep that part of my personal life more private. I truly appreciate your curiosity and support, though! Thanks again for the kind words!
I love how streamlined your wardrobe is. And the neutral palette is very elegant IMO. I usually find leggings hot for wearing in the Summer, but Old Navy's ribbed jersey leggings are cool in the hot weather for me. I like that bra. I hate underwires, too. Could you tell the brand/style of your Target bra?
Thank you so much! I'm really glad you like the streamlined wardrobe and neutral palette-I find it so much easier to mix and match. That’s great to know about the Old Navy ribbed jersey leggings; I’ll have to check them out for the summer! As for the bra, I totally agree, underwires can be uncomfortable. The one I’m wearing from Target is the Auden Wireless Bra-it's super comfy and gives good support without the wires. Thanks again for the lovely comments Here's a dupe for them if you can't find the Auden bra:amzn.to/3ARCXTE
Thank you! Here’s a video I did awhile back on how I wash my period underwear. The only difference I do these days is I use my bidet which is much easier. Another thing is to never dry them, that will make the fabric very weak over time. ua-cam.com/video/K-avblb7q1c/v-deo.htmlsi=BpKPhWAeUg8UBg-z
They aren't technically slippers but I have used wool Haflinger clogs (I think I have the GZ pair) for years and still have the same pair. I only wear them in the house in the winter months and my shearling Birkenstocks the rest of the year. Both have held up really well. Expensive, but I have definitely gotten my cost per wear haha!
Thanks for sharing your experience! Those wool Haflinger clogs sound great and it’s awesome that they’ve lasted so long. However, I follow a vegan lifestyle, so wool isn’t something I personally purchase. I’m always on the lookout for alternatives that align with my values. I appreciate the recommendation, though, and it’s good to hear they’ve worked so well for you!
To be honest I just wear a sweater, jacket and some black pants. Very simple and thank goodness its winter time because summer interviews was so hard due to me not having a lot of summer clothes I feel comfortable in especially for interviews. So winter outfits are more of my peacoat jacket that I never take off even with a interview 🤭
I love winter outfits too because it’s easy to just put a sweater and leggings 😁 so the black pants for interviews are flared leggings? I was wondering because I need to find some
Thanks Leslie, sometimes it’s hard when it comes to special events but I know one I will expand my wardrobe once the time is right. I definitely agree with having more staple pieces.
Those high heels are not feet shaped shoes, so could be why they hurt your feet. Our toes don’t point in a V shape naturally, but are the widest part of our foot. Shoe shaped shoes squish your feet together and can lead to bad posture among other things. I have switched to barefoot shoes and never going back.
You're absolutely right-high heels definitely aren’t the most foot-friendly option, and I’ve felt the discomfort from them myself! I’m actually aware that the shape of the shoes can impact posture and foot health, and I’m looking into alternatives. Right now, I can’t afford to switch to barefoot shoes just yet, but it's definitely something I’ll consider when I’m able to invest in better footwear. Thanks for sharing your experience, it’s helpful to hear how it’s worked for you!
Why don't you invest in a good quality barefoot shoes? They are foot shaped and you shouldn't have a problem finding good shoes for wide feet since they are wider than regular shoes. These regular shoes are not good for feet at all and can cause tons of problems for your feet and then the whole body because everything is connected. Oh, and I also thought that feet don't grow when you are grown up but they can grow when you start wearing barefoot shoes. I had to declutter my first 2 pairs of barefoot shoes after a year or two simply because my feet grew and not because the shoes got worn out.
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ve definitely heard a lot of great things about barefoot shoes, and I totally agree that having shoes that fit well and allow natural movement is important. Right now, my finances are a bit tight, so I can't afford to invest in a good pair just yet. However, once I land a job, I plan to look into better options for shoes, since I know how important proper footwear is for overall health. I appreciate you sharing your experience and insights!
I tried this once and to be honest I rather wear underwear thats thinner when I'm not on my period. Even though period underwear are comfy, they are also thick so not the best to wear as regular underwear, at least for me.
I've decided to keep my personal life more private these days, so I won't be sharing details about the jobs I'm applying to. However, I’ll definitely update you all once I land a position! As for UA-cam, I don't plan on stopping, but I might scale back on the frequency of videos in the future. Thanks for understanding and for all your support!
FYI it's better to store your sweaters folded! When knits are hung, they can stretch out due to being pulled down by gravity
I love how intentional your closet is. I agree that being conscious about what you wear and bring into your space is very important. I’m still learning as I say farewell to my 20s.

Milo is toooo cute ❤❤❤ lovely video, thank u so much for the inspiration !!
You are so welcome and thank you 😻 I truly love to hear that my videos inspire you!
Pricey, but Bombas is a nice slipper brand. They donate a pair for one purchased too so I always liked that philosophy like Toms back in the day.
I ditched slippers and got a pair of Chacos Chillos sneakers on Amazon for $30. The back folds down. They’re my house shoes. Best of luck!
Hi Kyra, I find sketchers shoes to be amazing. They are affordable here in Canada, they are comfortable and you can order them in a Wide size.
Great video ❤ thank you for taking the time to film and edit the videos also making helpful contents 🙏🏻
Thank you so much! Your support means the world to me. I’m so glad you find the content helpful, and I truly enjoy creating these videos for you all. It’s always worth the effort when I know it’s appreciated! ❤
It’s good to see Milo. What type of job are you looking for? Best of luck on your job search.
Thank you! Milo always loves being on camera. 😊 As for the job search, I’m keeping things a bit private for now, but I really appreciate the good luck wishes! Your support means a lot to me-thank you again!
Yes! Old Navy and Maurices are the only places I can find jeans to fit my odd figure!
That’s awesome to hear! Old Navy definitely has some great options for finding jeans that fit well. It’s always such a relief when you find brands that work for your body, especially when jeans can be so tricky to shop for. Thanks for sharing-I’ll keep those in mind for my next jean search!
Nice video Kyra. So great seeing Milo❤❤❤
Thanks Melanie 🤍 Milo sends his love
I noticed your Brooks sneakers. Brooks are my favorite and I only seem to buy that brand.
Love them! I swear it's the only pair of sneakers that make me feel energized and motivated to want to walk.
Dream wardrobe! U don't have no fancy clothing for weddings/parties?
Thanks hun, unfortunately I do not own any fancy clothing. But luckily I don't have any events to go to these days besides job interviews.
I wish my closet looked like this ❤
You got this hun🤍
For the crunchy undies I found that drying them on a lower heat helps prevent that :) . Hope that helps
I wish I had more options with drying but we pay for commercial washers like the Laundromat and the most temp control we have is medium (which is still very high), high or no heat. Lately I just been air drying to save my clothes and money these days.
Kyra what's your occational outfit like marriage & festivels
To be honest I don't go to events that much. The last wedding I went to was maybe 12 years ago and when it comes to parties I usually skip the whole family gathering these days since I live very far away from my hometown and sent feel like driving or the hassle of getting ready and rushing around. Sounds crazy but I'm more focused on finding myself these days along with finding a job than going to events or partying.
Torrid has a lot of cute "plus size" clothing ❤❤❤❤
I tried there clothes, I’m actually not that size but I’m in between sizes right now. One month I will loose weight and the next month I will gain weight. My sizes these days are a regular Xl, large or medium. And I honestly don’t like the style they have at torrid at all. My kind of style is more banana republic, aritzia or anything that has a more modern feel. Hopefully I can get back down to my normal size and wear the clothes I feel most comfortable and confident in.
Your space is so clean and nice. I like your outfits! I dress very similar. Do you ever plan on doing a video introducing your partner?
Thank you so much! I’m really glad you like the space and my outfits-it always means a lot to hear that! As for introducing my partner, I did share a video featuring him a few years ago, but I ended up taking it down. I’ve since decided to keep that part of my personal life more private. I truly appreciate your curiosity and support, though! Thanks again for the kind words!
Love this color scheme ❤
Thanks you 🤍
Milo is such a handsome regal cat 😍😍😍😍😍
He sure acts that way too 🤭 very VERY spoiled🫶🏻
Thanks again for the lovely comments
Here's a dupe for them if you can't find the Auden bra:amzn.to/3ARCXTE
@@Living.minimal Thank for the bra info.
i really love your minimalist wardrobe 😍😍
Thank you!!
Great video! How do you wash your period underwear? Maybe you could make a video about it some day?
Thank you! Here’s a video I did awhile back on how I wash my period underwear. The only difference I do these days is I use my bidet which is much easier. Another thing is to never dry them, that will make the fabric very weak over time.

@ thanks!
Can you share your interview outfits? I need some too. Can you link the pants you use for your interview
I was wondering because I need to find some
Yes they are and honestly with a nice sweater they look like exactly like dress up pants 🤭
Props to you Kyra! This would be difficult for me but I do buy more staples now vs bright colors
Thanks Leslie, sometimes it’s hard when it comes to special events but I know one I will expand my wardrobe once the time is right. I definitely agree with having more staple pieces.
Dawn dish soap gets out oil stains! Let it sit on there for a while and then wash.
MILO!!! 🤗💞😽 Great wardrobe!
Thanks hun, Milo sends his love 🤍
Those high heels are not feet shaped shoes, so could be why they hurt your feet. Our toes don’t point in a V shape naturally, but are the widest part of our foot. Shoe shaped shoes squish your feet together and can lead to bad posture among other things. I have switched to barefoot shoes and never going back.
Soft Star makes wide barefoot slippers. They are pricey though.
Whenever I say "when It comes to" I think of you😂😋😋
Saaame I catch myself saying this all the time now lol
haha 😂🫶🏻
Can/do you wear period underwear when it's not that week?
I tried this once and to be honest I rather wear underwear thats thinner when I'm not on my period. Even though period underwear are comfy, they are also thick so not the best to wear as regular underwear, at least for me.
@ thank you!
Can you link the period panties or let me know where they are from
Sure thing here's the link hun amzn.to/3V6oOZt they are from amazon. I hope you enjoy them🤍
Thank you for sharing ❤
Your very welcome and thank you for being here Mari 🫶🏻
Happy thursday🫶
God bless you and your family💜

Happy Friday Adriana 🤍 thank you so much for love and support 🥹 I truly appreciate the positive vibes.
What type of jobs have you been interviewing for
I've decided to keep my personal life more private these days, so I won't be sharing details about the jobs I'm applying to. However, I’ll definitely update you all once I land a position! As for UA-cam, I don't plan on stopping, but I might scale back on the frequency of videos in the future. Thanks for understanding and for all your support!
First comment ❤hello Kyra 👋 from Miami, FL.
