Hi Flight Formula! We wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you for choosing Philippine Airlines for your recent flight. We hope that you had a comfortable and enjoyable journey. We can't wait to welcome you back on board in the near future! Your continued support means a lot to us. ✈💘
@@jeanicaalair4106Well, they just moved there from T2. I believe they are currently building a new Mabuhay Lounge in T1 as we speak. Hopefully it will open soon
@@jeanicaalair4106 They just opened their new lounge a few days ago based on videos from TikTok and Instagram. Looks very big and swanky at 1,200+ sqm! very surprised they didn't have a grand opening reveal (unless that's just delayed?)
Great trip report! My husband is a Filipino, and we've flown PAL business class to Manila, with the new seating arrangement is great! Much more food than Qantas! Keep up the good work!!
I understand this comment is a year old. Found your stuff last night and have binged most of your stuff. So with PAL they used to fly out of another terminal, T2, which was pretty much just PAL flights, which was horrendous, sadly I never got to fly business so never checked out the lounge. However, the terminal was just boring, very few shops n cafes and hardly any duty free to note of. Flying them internationally was honestly like flying a LCC with meal service and free baggage. The Terminal you flew out off, T1, used to be for everyone else. Its very old, having flown to Philippines in August and through that terminal, it has been updated since the last time I flew out of it roughly 10+ years ago. T3, which was originally built many years ago to replace T1, cannot remember the reason but it sat unused for quite sometime. To the point that the Govt approach PAL to buy the terminal for close to 1B USD. I first flew out of T3 back in 2016 domestically and it was far better than the old, which is closing down soon, domestic terminal. I got to fly out of T3 internationally last year Sept and it was a lot better than all my previous experiences of NAIA terminals. The problem with NAIA is they want to expand it but are limited by space. Hence why Clark is potentially where some airlines will land at in the future.
I think around this time, their huge Mabuhay lounge (bigger, better, and newer than the one T2) in T1 is still under refurbishment, so they have to send their J pax to other lounges. The receptionist at the Marhaba was so quick to to remark that PR has no lounge of their own when it is in fact like 10x the size of Marhaba. Too bad, it was closed at the time you were there.
The Qantas Vantage XL seat does have an air cushion - that's what the +/- buttons on the controller are for. The up/down buttons even move the cushion up/down. It also has the same lame massage function on one of the buttons.
Hi ! That’s excellent ! Please talk more about the space of the seat and the stretch of body! Wish the video can be longer like half an hour and have more details !❤❤
Love your videos! I had access to the PAGSS lounge at NAIA Terminal 1 back in March, pretty much the same crowded scenario but enjoyed the food. Also that biz meal on board PAL is everything! - Red
Good for OFWs! Airport, you didn't see the rats running around overhead on AC ducts ( which always breaks-down) + FREE bed bugs on airport waiting seats. Ever ridden Singapore Airlines? Now that is the benchmark for quality airlines.
I will not complane … since they just went to chapter 11 . Its not. 5 star airline or member of any alliance of airlines. This company just need a good investor. Something willing too pour money for a good product that will be consistent forever and statrting to innovate
The secondary liquids check for flights to Australia is so maddening and pointless and just another serial dumb nanny state law that belongs in the bin. Great video btw
Your title says bargain business class meaning everything is bargain, unless you titled comfort business class well meaning you are comfortable the whole flight, you would probably rate the same as if you are in economy class, Australian are one of the complainer or complainant in the world, you are very hard to be happy! Good luck in your next Philippines travel!

please put a lounge in T1
Hahaha agreed 👍
It’s disappointing to not have a PAL lounge in T1.

Your channel is so underrated. You deserve more subs. I love the way you narrate! So refreshingly funny!

Always excited to get the Flight Formula notification. The casual and informative style beats all the name vloggers. Many thanks. 🎉
Ayy, thanks! That means a lot! ❤

Great watch. Do you remember which seats next to the windows? thanks
Hi when you were in the toilet, What camera was it?'
This kind of review was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks

That is awesome!
Useful insight into the Philippine Airlines experience, thanks Flight Formula. Do we have another Rufus du Sol fan here??
You betcha!
Are you kidding? Arugula is the best thing to happen to leafy greens.
hahahaha yeah nah I can't get around that.
Don't worry they are going to transfer to the new manila international airport soon!!
Sounds good!
It simply comes down to lack of quality assurance and lack of maintance
PAL is coming

Lounge is worst than foodcourt in a local eatery. Don't expect Anything... don't expect any improvement.
Let Philippines airlines sell 50% of their shares to ANA airlines, who are their smallest investor.

Do you want to experience the sensation of flying with Garuda Indonesia?
Yes..please. Also, the future of Philippines airlines is fantastic
The secondary liquids check for flights to Australia is so maddening and pointless and just another serial dumb nanny state law that belongs in the bin.
Great video btw
You belong to the bin too 😂
Sounded more of a rant than a review. It’s a 4 star airline and kept comparing to a 5 star airline 🤦♂️
But the prices don't match the quality or service provided.
