VoicePlay takes songs that shouldn't work as a cappella and then just kills them. Every single one of them was fantastic, but I have to give extra credit to Layne for really pushing the vocal percussion envelope lately. Geoff drove the iconic background beat, Cesar brought all the sass, and the give and take between Eli and Anthony was perfect. I also think credit should be given to VP's hidden member, Ed Boyer. His mixing skills are genius.
So we've got G1 Geoff and now E5 Eli, lol. They absolutely slayed this! It's a crazy ride, start to finish. I just can't get enough of their arrangements and overall sound. So, so good! Loved you're reaction!! ❤❤

As informative and gratifying as your vocal analysis is, your improvement at beatboxing is what I look forward to the most. For arranging, if the beatboxing is outrageous then Geoff arranged it. If the bass is insane then Layne did. Generally speaking of course
This is true, as a general rule. They each seem to enjoy creating arrangements that show off their friends' abilities. A bonus of singing with the same people for 20+ years!
Congratulations on your upcoming release!! **throwing confetti** The extra fun thing about this is that it's the third post-apocalyptic video (Warriors and Dream On are the others). In the first two, they said the zombie hordes just out of camera range while the guys sang to save themselves. Between the first two videos, both Earl and J. None were lost to the zombies, and they picked up Cesar and Omar along the way. However, by this time, they've become the bad guys, so we're not 100% sure what happened to Omar... 😜 Side note: If you are one of Geoff's patrons of a certain level, he occasionally does session breakdowns, showing all the tracks (many times well over 100 of them) and how they're put together when he's arranging a song.

Take a lot of practice because of bass register like subharmonic chest, growl ( some chest fry) that means to widen your lower side of your vocal range ( I want you to hit in the 0th octave, definitely believe in you.

It's funny how they seem to have introduced a lot of special Beatbox techniques I'va only heard in beatbox competition (adding to the normal crazy sounds Layne does all the time). At 8:30, like others said it sounds like a throat bass and at 14:25 the weird electro sound sounds like what they do on loopstations

I watched this song just when Voiceplay released it. Usually I'm not analyzing it and play the whole song at least once without interrupting. But that beatbox part came out of the blue, totally unexpected, so I I had to rewind and watch it again a few times before continuing. And it gave me an extra smile at that time about what might happen when you will react to the song. So I was waiting for your reaction today and you didn't disappoint at 6:10 , haha.

I watched this song just when Voiceplay released it. Usually I'm not analyzing it and play the whole song at least once without interrupting. But that beatbox part came out of the blue, totally unexpected, so I I had to rewind and watch it again a few times before continuing. And it gave me an extra smile at that time about what might happen when you will react to the song. So I was waiting for your reaction today and you didn't disappoint at 6:10 , haha.
