Education itself is a very loose term, what is more critical is a clear bifurcation of skills and knowledge, great industrial nations harnessed both and emphasised on building education systems that encompassed both Skills and Knowledge for example the German Ausbildung, such a great approach to build skills that are relevant to the econonmy.
