Cold tent winter camping during a snow storm in the northern wilderness. A snowy winter adventure! The forecast said 25m/s or 56mph winds. I choose snow shoes again since it makes filming easier than if I was using skis.
I walked out into the forest in a break in the storm and set up camp, getting ready for the heavy snowstorm that was coming in through the night. It turned into a massive storm but I had found a sheltered place for my camp in the trees. I also built a snow wall to shelter behind for the eastern winds. Quite an interesting trip that ended in a mixture between rain and sleet.

I have a deck on the back of my house. I have a 6 foot wide patio umbrella with four straps to strengthen it against higher wind . I have surrounded it with a wall of plastic sheeting to the floor. I sit in it for a few hours each day because " i love that sound " , wind 👍.

Yes true! We all forget about the hard work and harsh work of his having to edit and set the camera up for our pleasure. It just does not go that magically. Lots of work, blood, sweat.....and so forth.

I manage to “get through” ur dangerous videos till the end coz u turn out ok. It’s SO obvious how much u love this weather coz u keep poking ur head out to see everything change with the winds. Honestly I do too n snow. But we hardly ever experience snow here. It’s a rare occurrence but fascinates me. N I never tire of the most important meal of the day n that tiny cup !

You hadn't much sleep, you were cold (weren't you ?!), you were worried, unquiet about that ever lasting howling blizzard that blew the snow on your tent and all around. The poetry of the forest by day, turned by night, in the light of your headlamp, into "halloweenish" terryfying shadows. However, what strikes me most of all is that infinite LONELINESS, you proove to support that very well, although you are at the mercy of the elements. But !! that's what you like, don't you ! I heard you saying "LOVE this sound".... Finally in the morning, storm was over, all was silence.... and we could hear the bells of hope and peace. Or were it early Christmas-bells ?? - And you, tough fellow, once again, you victoriously survived !! Hallelujah ! 😆 👷 🎑

You are one strong Norwegian! Blizzard camping is a world of talent and art all on its own. I enjoyed seeing this beautiful wonderful video of this camp. Nothing like seeing you break out your piping hot coffee pot against the snow beneath. Taking some snow right off the ground and using that for your water source for coffee and dinner. Very resourceful. Just curious, do you filter the snow/water before consuming it? Did not know if you needed it since it is pure virgin snow. Blessings.

It’s crazy the weather you camp and film in! It’s hard just filming in cold weather let alone severe wind and snow! Do you use a heater if so What heat source do you use to stay warm? Buddy heater or hot tent/stove? Great video!
Thanks, I do not use any heating, only the heat the body creates
