I really liked seeing Morgan and hearing what she has to say about being single and happy. So many young women get stuck in relationships they're not happy in and miss out on so much of their lives (not that that's always the case) but she really is just living her best life and being herself I love to see it. It's refreshing.
I really think having rylands recap moved to the beginning would be a better layout for this podcast.. as a little teaser 🥰

Agreed! I thought I was weird for being early thirties and being pretty solid with just working a lot and meeting up with friends and family occasionally, and having lots of single adventures, but glad to see it's the norm. I've tried dating sites in the past and I've met too many guys (I'm a girl) just looking for someone to make their boring lonely lives more interesting, instead of just looking for a girl to complement and share in their own enjoyable life and vice versa. I think mid-millennials are just in a weird spot overall. Almost all of my friends married their high school or college boyfriends, so I was sort of the odd one out who didn't marry my college boyfriend and I set out to get a master's degree and my dream job, while a lot of my friends gave up pursuing their dream jobs to pursue love and a basic job or stay a home parent instead.
I'm 38 so I'm in my late 30s
I'm a 40 yr old single lady, and that's perfectly ok, we will find our people when the time is right. I'll probably die alone though 🤣 but I don't mind. Lol
@z☓a i wouldn't use Japan as an example of a progressive mindset though. I don't know about France but Japan is such a unique country with a very unique work culture that doesn't really allow for people to have time for families. There's is also a huge amount of the population that are hikikomori (reclusive people) due to many reasons. The population also has the oldest ratio of elderly people to total population with like 30% of people over the age of 65. Japan also creates all sorts of interesting dolls, pillows, and items to simulate a person having a partner, so there's no need for them to pursue a real partner. Japan also has a very collectivist society that not everyone "fits in" to this they either move or withdraw from society as a whole. Individualistic societies, mostly Western societies have a lot of content single people because the society thrives on individuality and "purpose" and achieving your goals. 🤷🏻♀️.

In the movie Ariel sang the song twice, the one where she sings it the first time says "part of that world", the second time she sang it was when she saved prince Eric and on that one she said "part of your world" probably because she is singing it to him. So this does count as a Mandela effect because on the first time we all remembered it having "your" in it but it also doesn't at the same time.
Morgan should reveal some cringe dating stories… I feel like a lot of women can relate to her on so many levels. She’s iconic.

As a woman, I've had the grow-er convo with other girl friends. Majority feel like growers are fun. It's flattering when we see it grow. Also it becomes a nice suprise when you see how far it grows. Can't speak for all women, but this small group here are pro grower. But we all agreed that NO ONE tells women about growers. It just becomes a "fun suprise" when you start dating life 😂
Yes to ALL of this! When I was a teen un 90’s and 20’s in early 00’s another SURPRISE was uncircumcised ones!! And didn’t know that there were growers either that was not discussed!!! I was very disappointed when I met my first non grower and it was then I realized not all things are the same 😂😂😂

I have to say that first off, as a woman, I would never cancel Shane. In fact I started watching Ryland's blog so I could get more Shane when things blew up. Now I'm addicted to watching Ryland, Shane, AND Morgan's stuff haha. Keep doing what you're doing! Also, in the Little Mermaid, she does sing "part of YOUR world" in the reprise which is where everyone gets it from. She sings it twice in that scene :) It's only after she meets Prince Eric that she specifically wants to be part of his world and therefore states part of your world.

I related to Morgan in this sooo much! I have zero friends since moving states and have VERY high standards with friends and relationships and it's IMPOSSIBLE for me to connect with anyone without it feeling forced. My mental health has taken a massive toll and hearing Morgan talk about her view really helped me feel less alone ❤️

Morgan was so funny here! My highlight of the episode is when Ryland and Shane were asked if they would approve of Morgan's boyfriend just because she picked him and they were like NOPE. I relate to Morgan soooooo much. I feel like people expect Leos to be extroverts and that's definitely not true for all of us. It all depends on my mood and what kind of vibe I get from others around me. I value my alone time more than anything. I could go days without company and I wouldn't feel depressed and lonely. I genuinely enjoy being on my own. And Morgan's pov about being in relationships is very relatable.

I’ve related to absolutely everything Morgan had to say about relationships and her loving being alone. I always used to feel sorry for myself for not being in a relationship but when I see her I see nothing but strength. The way she’s able to identify/admit that she prefers her aloneness in a world that always pushes relationships is really admirable and inspiring. My favourite episode to date 🥰

Everyone is so right - this episode flowed like the clearest, fastest river (picturing Shane and Jared as bears wading in the river, catching salmon between their paws 😂). I attribute it to the vibe between everyone - adding Morgan into the mix really took the energy to the next level. I would LOVE to see a 10 Things I Hate About You theme, or another iconic 2000’s movie. Kudos, everyone.
Oh, and as a Cancer, I am an anxiety-sister to Shane and Chris. I get SO flipping frustrated at the most trivial things. I’m working on bouncing back faster and getting over things, but it’s very hard. I guess in that sense I’m an ‘emotional grower’ 🤔

as a person who is OBSESSED with The Little Mermaid, I thinkkkkk the song is called Part of Your World because while yes she does not sing it while in her grotto, when the song "ends" and after Sebastian has his moment, that's when they see Eric's ship overhead. After all the hullabaloo with the storm and Ariel saves Eric, when she's singing on the rock after he wakes up, she THEN sings, "I don't when, I don't know how, but I know something's starting right now. Watch and you'll see, someday I'll be Part of Your World." :)

I agree with Chris! I was in some really tough relationships that after the last one ended, I just wanted to be by myself. And I love being alone! I love just hanging with my friends and family and doing my own thing. It might take someone awesome and vibes with me for me to get into another relationship. I hate the pressure of online dating. It's so stupid and it shouldn't feel like that.
