👩🌾👩🌾👩🌾 I thought I was being haunted for months and turns out the “ghost” I kept seeing was just the shadow of an art easel from our porch 😅 Every time a semi truck would drive by in the afternoons, it was in the perfect spot to catch the reflection/make a shadow move through my apartment 😂
I just turned 39 this month too and Jerid is so right. It’s really weird when you’re older than doctors and teachers and people start calling you ma’am/sir. My brain feels 17, my body feels 73.
My PCP is fresh out of medical school (he’s absolutely wonderful) but i caught myself telling my husband “he’s a kid” realizing he’s mid twenties 🥴 I turn 39 next week 😂🫠
I'm 37 and feel the same way. If I don't see people 10+ years younger than me, they're 10+ years older. I work with two people close to my age and I think one couple at my church is my age. It seems weird that everywhere I go, I see nobody my age. Last time I went to the doctor, I felt so old, I thought I was going to get a bowl of oatmeal and a sponge bath while there. I'm sure some may be my age and just look younger.
I turned 39 last month and I look way younger than my age, so people haven’t started treating me differently yet, but I will be curious to see when they do. Also, Happy Belated Birthday! 🎉

@ChrisBstation please get checked for CKD, if you haven't already, that is. Your symptoms sound very similar to what my brother was going through. He was in and out of the hospital many times. He went into sepsis and nearly died. Later he still had problems...they accused him of being a hypochondriac, and they even tried saying he needed to have his gal bladder removed. He had the surgery, and it didn't help. He was finally diagnosed with CKD, and he's now in kidney failure, on dialysis. He's only 35.

I’m in pain most days. I have lost 15lbs because it hurts to eat most days. I’m scared and the way I cope is by making jokes about it. I’m truly sorry for annoying you. That’s not my intention. I apologize.

My husband completely stopped consuming sugar for a month, he got terrible withdrawal symptoms and was in a horrible mood constantly for a good 2 weeks. He is also a smoker and said that quitting sugar was way more difficult to quit than smoking.
Yep! On 8/10 I'll have 14 years clean from methamphetamine. I've also been cigarette free for a little over a year. My food issues, including sugar addiction has been harder to kick. At one point I lived completely free of sugar and processed foods.
Thank you for the timing of this. I’m currently 7 months pregnant and my partner got admitted last night to hospital with pneumonia, I needed the distraction

It’s like he gets so into character and channeled RuPaul so hard that I could _feel_ their presence. Shane you are literally just glowing now, it makes me so happy and the steps are doing you SO WELL! I truly never felt better (mentally and physically) than when I was getting over 10k steps a day. I am also over 8 months pregnant right now so I’m sad to not get to really throw myself into the walk star competition😪 it actually ends the day after my due date!! hopefully there will be more in the future, I look forward to getting my steps in postpartum🥰
I started doing this walking challenge before I even saw the podcast today because I saw you’re doing 20k steps when you used to not even want to get up some days and it inspired me. I went from barely 500 steps daily to no less than 10k daily. Everything you do inspires me ever since 2007 or whenever you started with your skits of shanaenae and all that. You’re the reason I’m hardly ever serious and I try to bring laughter everywhere. I love love love you Shane and everyone in the crew ❤️❤️ hope you get this.
whenever I see a fan mentioning how they watched during his problematic days, it always makes me feel bad for being a more "recent" fan of him, like I'm forced into a cluster of r@cist despicable people who supported and still support his over a decade ago actions. It makes me sick, and even though he doesn't make the incredible content like he used to a handful of years ago, I still watch because I miss the golden days with the squad/documentaries, but also wonder if I should stop. The people in his comments and the people in his videos always seemed loving and respectful, but after he got cancelled, it just feels gross, like they feel the need to point out, "yeah, I was with you when you made repulsive actions in front of the entire world with no shame." I can't be the only one who feels like this.
The last casino I went to I literally felt like I was high! I don’t know what they are pumping in the vents, but it was a very long day hiking in the mountains, and then at the very end of the night we went to the casino, and then suddenly I was like completely refreshed and wide awake and felt so good.
