You can get saved on outbreak. When reaching the security level by killing zombies, you need to get every security level by melee. Then the warbird will save you😉
Im really happy to see the community is finally getting some open minded people who can enjoy something about every zombies experience in the youtube side of things. Really love your channel man, it is a blessing for our community.
This was one of my last times seeing bill Paxton on screen before his passing and man does it make me feel nostalgic seeing these be played by people still and it's getting more eyes on
I remember spending weeks beating these easter eggs with my older cousin back in the day. I had no clue what was going on but watching this made me realize why hed get so frustrated when playing 😂 thanks for reminding me of some great memories with him. RIP Michael
I am pretty sure some people have pointed this out already, but in the first map if you instead get all the kills for the security cleareance with only melee kills, when the Warbird arrives it will actually rescue you and you'll win
I loved this game growing up and the uniqueness of this zombies from every other cod is what really what made me fall in love with the version of zombies
While I understand the natural aversion to Outbreak I gotta say that map was simple, and fun, with great progression, also for zombies mode it had one of the better training areas
On outbreak there’s an alternate ending where you are saved, instead of just killing zombies to get to 49 cards you have to melee kill them all. Also you don’t need the fish on carrier to attract the shark, the fish is used for a secret Easter egg
The ironic thing here is despite playing these maps for a lot of hours I forgot them and there are maps from treyarch that I know too much about and I have never played them.
One of my favourite things about your content is you actually give everything a fair chance and don’t go into any game or map hating it just because the community does. I find there’s something fun and unique about every cod zombies game and I’m glad I’m not the only one
Wow this video reminded me of an easter egg run I did of all these maps a couple years ago. I unfortunately failed at the last map and didn’t have the drive to keep going.
Watching this video has brought a new level of appreciation I already have for AW.. I played tf out of the story and loved every bit of it. Multiplayer was Ight.. and survival was lit and doing the Easter egg was cool on riot. I never enjoyed the AW maps as a kid but watching you go through the story makes me appreciate the simplicity behind it compared to Treyarch doing Bo3 and so on so forth.. got too complex
The easter egg on the first map can be done a bit differently, when you get the cards from the zombies you have to kill all the zombies by melee, no shooting and no granades, ONLY malee. After getting 49 you do al the same things and when de bird comes it actually rescues you. It doesnt get destroyed by a misile
I remember the zombies spawning, was playing with me and my sister, we thought we beat the wave and stuff but got absolutely jumpscared, we camped like in a small counter piled together so that the AI could only go through the entrance, was horrifying at that time to get jumpscared.
AW was my first zombies game I played properly. People say you’re blind to your first games flaws, but I really still think it’s pretty solid. And it has a lot of things we took for granted at the time. It’s got a great cast of playable characters who are integral to the story *cough Cold War cough* It’s got a cryptic mysterious story that gets more and more interesting as time goes on (really want a sequel) It has a creative arsenal and a lot of fun features on each map (pachinko machine being the best IMO) And genuinely innovative movement (EMZs suck though)
I enjoyed the advanced warfare zombies map it felt new compared to the last 3 zombies modes. I also just had a lot fun playing with friends at the time.
It's 2024. I loved this version of zombies because it was just wave after wave trying to beat my last go round. I hate the zombies nowadays where you need teammates to solve intricate puzzles. I was today years old when I found out there were puzzles in Advanced Warfare zombies.
You are actually able to be rescued by the warbird on the outbreak map, all you need to do is PUNCHING zombies and picking up there cards instead, you cannot shoot them nor may they die to anything else which isnt your fist. (You will see the number turn grey if you picked up a wrong card), you also cannot be downed. If you manage to keep the number plain white by doing all this you should be rescued from the WB as far as I know
I can tell you why people don't like it, it's way too complicated. There's something so nice about a side easter egg (not something that HAS to be finished to get special weapons and such, crafting wasn't such a bad idea in BO2 with random spawn locations of items) And a map that is SIMPLE but complex, for instance transit was beautiful because there was basically multiple maps in one, the bubble gum machine is where zombies started getting weird, it was no longer simple "turn on the power and go for jugg!" it became, "go finish this Easter egg, get the correct weird perks and do xyz!" I can't blame them for wanting to change the formula, but I feel like they didn't finish milking zombies original, where they wanted more maps but they quit making complex and cool ones like transit, instead they started changing so much of it that didn't need changing. On top of all of this, these easter eggs require so much different knowledge and some maps depend on you finding the Easter eggs for you to survive long rounds, which is terrible!! because there's people out there who play solo and dont wanna research a bunch of info on Easter eggs after they get home from work, that's why the complex SIDE easter egg, big interesting maps like moon and five WORKED SO WELL!!!!
I agree. The maps where the player could hop on the game and throughout each round and game slowly understand more and more about the map and the POTENTIAL Side Easter egg progression. Like a completely oblivious player could still hop on a random multiplayer 4-man, use mic, and study the map with others to solve the map. They made it too complicated to where a random newb player can’t even follow along with the most simple steps.
I hated black ops 3 zombies, black ops 4 zombies. They just made them so Anoyying. The best zombies personally imo was WORLD AT WAR, BLACK OPS 1, BLACK OPS 2 in that order. After black ops 2 shit got weird.
finally this game's zombies gets some love, i never got into any other zombies that much but this game's zombies is just so damn good i would like to get into treyarch zombies but it's a LOT, and i have no idea what I'm doing in them
Remember the glitch where you jumped from the bridge to the ledge where zombies would fall down from in the main lobby area from outbreak and they couldn’t kill you. Good times.
I could easily be wrong, but I don't think people hated it because of the gameplay (except for having to pack 20 or 25 times to get fully upgraded weapons and the EMP enemies), but rather because most of the maps were bland, didn't offer anything new or exciting, and the Easter Egg rewards were lackluster. At least that's what I gathered from hearsay and a handful of videos anyway.
There's another EE in outbreak that you can get after beating all the other AW EE's that can get you extracted from the map instead of the warbird getting taken down. I can't remember how it goes, it's been a long time since I've played Exo Zombies.
After you get the first four cards, you melee the zombies to get the rest. You can shoot them but the killing blow has to be a melee. And don’t think you need to do all the other EE first.
Cool video there is actually more to this game such as the alternate ending on outbreak. brings back memories as aw was one of my most played cod games
tbh i really liked the overall game, zombie and multiplayer but nobody in the community seemed to like it for some reasons. this game was fun and hilarious to play, dlcs, dlcs weapons and custom sets for your guns and character were insane for this era, change my mind
There are actually 2 ee's / ee endings on every map (sort of), would be awesome if you tried those out! There is a trophy case in the last map for the ee's which you can fill up by doing these second ee's! They are: Outbreak: get all the keycards by meleeing the zombies instead of shooting them, then the helicopter will actually extract you Infection: you mentioned the other ee ending where the power ups spawn but I think this one is just random and you can skip it imo (also there is only 1 trophy for infection) Carrier: You need to have the fish in your inventory (which you didn't actually need for the shark) and then complete the drunk step in under 1 minute. Descent: after completing the ee you've unlocked a black/white challenge mode, you complete the 2nd trophy by just going through the rounds and killing Oz the 3rd time he teleports you (this one is a fun but difficult challenge) I'd love to see you do these as well :) !
I always did enjoy advance warfare. Of course this was also the first cod for my ps4 at the time and I like it because it feels like real life it could be possible you know
Its crazy how much of this i forgot to time. I played every single map with my buddy and did the EEs. Completely forgot about it. And such an amazing cast of characters! I liked it being different.
I just finished the Carrier Easter egg as solo, and it was the most painful Easter egg I’ve been thru. I fucked hated the digging step in the island, teleported back 20+ times wasting 30 mins on that fucking step. And on the final step where I got the C4, I downed for the third time, so I played super carefully for the rest of the round until I had a few zombies left then I FINALLY beat the game. 1 hour, 41 mins, and 56 seconds with 14 bomb defuses. I’m just glad I got that one done.
This game feels like a fever dream for me, remembering it, this wasn't even a cod game, it was its own unique thing, it was so peculiar in my brain it feels like it wasn't real, anyone feel the same
Dont know if you know this, but there actually is a rescue ending to outbreak. But the challenge of it is you have to punch zombies for the tags up to 49 you cant shoot them. 3 reasons why people don’t like/play AW zombies. 1) you pay for every map. (No base zombies map) 2) flawed guns and pack a punch. (No guns can carry you or super unique wonder weapon) 3 no real map selection That being said, I really liked decent
You can get saved on outbreak. When reaching the security level by killing zombies, you need to get every security level by melee. Then the warbird will save you😉
