About 40 yrs ago in Winnipeg Manitoba, a friend had a Borzoi dog (also called Russian Wolf hound), and way back when, they were bread to hunt Wolves. Anyways, he had to have it put down because it chased down and attacked a teen on a bicycle. (he survived). Sad story, sorry.
They're following the smell, not the tire tracks. The Wolfen don't have a human form. Eddie was quite clear they're a different species - related to wolves.
