I feel like the two of you who used upset-face emojis unironically are more millennial than judy is, they're just someone who's proud of talking about the group they identify with. We shouldn't even talk, gen z is the most tribalistic generation I've seen in a while, so stop being rude to random strangers on the internet
As someone on the cusp of alpha and z, I took a quiz. It says I’m gen z, which honestly I’m vibin. I guess my negative view on TikTok helped me decide that better. As a Greg family member, it’s good to share a generation with the original Greg, rejoice my fellow Greg clones.
That’s definitely the odd year where you’re technically gen z but like so different from people born in the late 2000’s. Like it’s weird to compare my friend born in 97 and my brother born in 09. There’s such a huge difference in the technology and culture they grew up in
I was born in 2000 it’s definitely a weird age because I grew up with 90’s things but also grew up with the evolution of technology and social media so I too often feel like I exist in the void!
I was born in 01, yet my first phone was a flip phone, I didn't even have friends to be remembering numbers for, I dislike social media, and miss big time rush like many other losers. I enjoy skinny jeans and side parts and plenty of other things. I never once thought all of these things were a "generational" thing wheeze. So it's more like everyone between 1997-2005 or so is living in the void since most of us have traits of both :') we should have gotten our own generation. Hate getting lumped in with tik tokers and children literally years younger than me. (Like I'm 20 now yet I'm basically lumped in with my 8 year old niece. It doesn't make sense)

I know how you feel I like skinny jeans but also like flares and I had a side part for years I begged my mum to allow me to have a side part at 11 years old because it was cool at that time and I had a side part until recently when I switched to having a fringe!
i'm so confused by harry potter being a millennial thing. i don't think i've met a single gen z person who hasn't at least seen all the movies, and i don't even live in an english speaking country
I do not think it's about hearing or knowing about it, it's more about overly identifying and structuring your whole personality around the Harry Potter fandom which is more of a millennial trait. Like I've read the books and watched the movies as well but I don't go around telling people that I'm a slytherin and have that shit on my insta bio or sumn, nor do I ever feel the need to keep making harry potter references in everyday normal conversation, ya feel me?
@@firdosinizam3443 hmm i don't know, that's absolutely something my friends and i did when we were teenagers, i've never seen anybody from the millenial generation do that, nearly not as much as gen Z. what year were you born in? maybe that might have something to do with it. if all the movies had come out before you were even old enough to start watching/reading HP, then i can see how you might've interacted with it differently. also, the question was "which harry comes to mind first" so i don't think it was related to whether or not your whole personality is related to harry potter or not lol
I was born in 2000, so I’m def gen z. The first movie I guess came out in 2002 and the book came out in 1997. I mean I’m not going to lie I did indulge in the fandom shit in middle school, but so did a lot of older gen z kids like me(I’m guessing you’re one of the older ones as well). I stopped deeply caring about Harry Potter in 10th grade, meanwhile I’ve seen a lot of millennials continuing this obsession well into their twenties, there’s nothing inherently wrong about it (Unless someone actively advocates for JK Rowling as a person) it’s just kinda cringeworthy. There’s something to be said about excessive consumerism as well but that’s a different can of worms, imma say this though, you definitely must’ve seen some people with Harry Potter tattoos and merch right? When these things came out gen z were still kinda young to own stuff like these, so millennials and older gen z kids were the ones who could actually indulge in such “super-fan” things that’s why it’s more prominent in that age-group.
fully gen z but none of my friends ever remembered kid pix!!! i loved that shit. used to play with it in computer class in elementary school. i can't believe danny didn't put the theme song that played whenever u opened the application bc it slapped.
If he didn't say he was a millennial and if I never see his wedding ring I would simply think he is probably like a 17 year old boy who is younger than me. This dude looks so young.
"Heterosexual men, gay men, and lesbian women" I love that straight women specifically were not allowed on the show. It makes absolutely no sense, but it's so funny. Edit: for everyone saying that dating the mom would make you not straight, you're not actually trying to date the mom on the show. They called it Date My Mom but the premise is you go out with the mom so she can tell you about her son or daughter and you choose who you want to date based on what their mom said about them. Besides, the part I quoted includes gay men, so clearly women are not the only possible love interests on the show.

To be fair, I think Danny meant it as a cultural thing, not an international thing
Obviously he meant it as American

As someone on the cusp of alpha and z, I took a quiz. It says I’m gen z, which honestly I’m vibin. I guess my negative view on TikTok helped me decide that better. As a Greg family member, it’s good to share a generation with the original Greg, rejoice my fellow Greg clones.

I relate so deeply with the brim beanie! I felt cool af skating in that thing
i was born in 97 so i just see anyone younger than me as gen z and anyone older than me as a millennial and i simply exist in the void
It doesn't make sense)

i'm so confused by harry potter being a millennial thing. i don't think i've met a single gen z person who hasn't at least seen all the movies, and i don't even live in an english speaking country
@@yoshita4140 I'm gen z and haven't seen a single harry potter movie

My Mom is 93.
