I've been a plumber for over 40 years. I found this interesting, but also something I wouldn't want to touch. I think that would be a good time to sell.

The hard part Tom is being so far away. Maybe it is time to sell and enjoy your home and new home on the hunting property.

Thinking a booster pump midlift would be a great way to increase rate on existing pipe and reduce pressure in bottom. However all the conversation about leaks sounds like you need to replace the existing line with a more robust solution. And a bigger issue - those leaks might lead to contamination and compromise the water being potable. We have all seen “boil water” advisories in areas with water line breaks. Leaks and repairs certainly impacting system reliability as well.

There sure is a lot that goes into getting water up the hill. I am with Karen on selling the place. You shouldn't have to worry about cleanliness, even the upkeep can be a bit much. Good luck with the water situation Sir

Why don’t you investigate using a polymer/plastic type hose that boring companies use when shooting commercial/Regional waterlines underground. It’s so indestructible that it’s pulled through the hard ground after a long bore has been drilled.
There are NO joints, because any connections are performed using some type of chemical reaction which makes the seams harder than the line itself.
Obviously, it comes in large rolls, thus minimizing the need for seams. You guys could run a 4 inch line, and be set for life.
    You’ll thank me later, lol.
Hell, your great, great grandchildren will be thanking you. I don’t know the cost though?🤷🏿‍♂️
