3 Tips for Giving a Killer Class Presentation

- In this video you will learn 3 tips for giving a killer class presentation because presentations for school are very important. A great class presentation can not only help your grades, but it can also help change the perception your teacher and classmates have of you. Our decisions are largely governed by our emotions, whether we think so or not, so any time you can leave a good impression on people, the better it will be for you in the long run. So that’s why an awesome class presentation can be so beneficial beyond just grades. So here are my 3 tips for giving a killer class presentation.
#1 Always present first
This sounds like a crazy idea, but going first is the smart student’s choice because it demonstrates to your instructor that you are not only well-prepared, but also confident. And because you were first, the instructor will likely have a better memory of your presentation. After watching 10 or 15 presentations, they start to get fuzzy in the teacher’s mind, but the first one will likely still be memorable. Weird, but true.
#2 Do not use notes
Another great way to show that you are prepared and confident is to not use any notes. Preparedness is usually a critical evaluation factor, so not using notes is an easy way to score extra points. You’ll also make a great impression on your classmates, too.
#3 Mention something from class
This is the killer move right here. Be sure to mention something you learned in class that is relevant to your presentation. Usually, your presentation will be about something the instructor discussed in class. So if you can refer to whatever was discussed, that will show you were paying attention and learned something because you were able to apply what you learned in your presentation.
BAM! That’s the sound of an A! Hopefully!
If you follow the above 3 tips for giving a killer class presentation, I am sure that you will come away with a much better result than if you don’t use the tips. Of course, you still need to prepare and practice, and the tips for giving a great class presentation require you prepare well. That being said, there is no reason why any student shouldn’t be able to give a memorable and killer class presentation.

Yes, right! But also try to remember that a presentation is an opportunity for you to show people something about yourself that they may not have known. It's an opportunity to demonstrate who you are, what you know, maybe your sense of humor, etc. How often do we get to have an audience and leave them with a great impression of ourselves?
i always present second so i have an idea of how someone else will present. i also practice the day before and get it in my head. but great tips!♥️

About the first thing I was the last presenter
here’s my tips not from the video! 1. try and talk with the teacher after class and tell her about how your struggle with presenting and anxiety and ask if you can present it to her after school privately! 2. if this doesn’t work try to skip class fake sick maybe lol 3. if your nervous like me i take meds before presenting, practice a lot and use all the tips he said! hope this helps all my peeps with bad nerves!

The best thing to do is give examples. State a point and then find an example from the book to illustrate your point. Good luck!

I gave a presentation today on the HIV . I agree I didn't have that much background knowledge on the topic,so answering the questions was a bit difficult and they were not up to the mark either.Our teacher didn't hear my whole presentation,cause there was a error in my poster and told me that she expected better from me.At first ,I felt too sad about it and was not ready to face anyone.Now that I have seen this video,I understand how important it is to have good background knowledge on the thing you are speaking about.Thank you.

Hmmm, not sure I agree. Have you seen a Steve Jobs presentation? Have you seen Martin Luther King Jr's "I have a dream" speech? No notes. Jobs would practice for hours and hours.
Also, think about actors on stage, TV or movies. They don't use notes.

make sure if you are trying ti remember it off by heart to keep a small palm card with bullet points in your pocket just in case you forget

Hi Sir kwan, i have a presentation in my class. In powerpoint presentation there was a meaning about feasibility or should i say my reports definition . i'm doubting if i will read it or just explain it in front of my classes. The first isn’t the most memorable, the last is because it would be the most recent memory for people.
I see your point. I would say that going first, if you know you're ready, sets the bar high for everyone else and is noticed by your audience. This is especially true for school presentations.
aha 2019 viewer im in my senior primary school grade and people call me a teachers pet and suck up because im always answering questions and putting my hand up before anyone else, will going first make that worse?

I do this really weird thing when Present, I curl my upper lip and I kinda show my teeth so it's like an awkward smile/grin and I bob my head a lot I don't know why.
