hi bbys!!! it's so damn good to be back i missed u all so much 💜 if you have any questions about the surgery/ recovery plz comment them below because im planning on filming a summary video this week! 🌸
Welcome back, Emma! We've missed you SO FRICKIN' MUCH!!! I hope you're staying safe and healthy and are looking forward to the Holidays. Much love and support! ❤❤❤
Hi Emma first of all, love you! Second, this is a very stupid question (questions) 1. Did they put you under general anesthesia or did they just numb the area, if they did numb the area, did you feel any pressure. 2. Secondly, I had a tooth extraction recently, and I was so scared of (TMI) feeling the gum in the area of the extraction/hurting your wounds. Did you have any of that? 3. What was the process before getting them extracted (like before going to the dentist) like not eating, more stuff like that? Hope you have great day! Edit: I just noticed they put you to sleep, sorry!
I got mine removed before I actually got my braces. The doctors said I should get them out so they won’t be a problem later on after I got my braces off. Bro o couldn’t chew for a month
Wow you seemed to have such a positive experience and in hardly any pain. I had such a horrible experience I was in excruciating pain the whole time. Definitely by far the most pain I’ve ever been in.
I'm on day 2 and I literally have no pain which is amazing! Hoping it stays this way. I've been taking pain killers every now and then just incase any pain does decide to pop up. Best wishes to everyone going through this process. I hope that its as smooth as it's going for me right now
I’m glad to hear that you weren’t in a ton of pain! I just got an impacted wisdom tooth removed & been in a ton of pain🥺 the soup & ice cream definitely is a bonus!
@@EleazarEspinozaLeal hey uh, It wasn’t even that bad, I just got put to sleep and I woke up in my normal state of mind, I just kept crying and I couldn’t control it for some reason, but it might be different for you, goodluck! (also i didn’t bring my phone with me. )
I got all four of my wisdom teeth out 2 days ago and was extremely nervous. It was NOT bad at all and nothing like I was expecting. I don’t even remember falling asleep😂 Afterward I was completely aware of everything but I was very tired. Recovery has been great for me! I haven’t taken the pain killers prescribed to me but I have been taking Tylenol just in case I did have pain (which I never had pain so I must be very lucky!) Just some soreness in my left cheek but other than that, I’ve been living off of ice cream, mashed potatoes, and refried beans!😂 My cheek is puffy so it is kind of hard to chew because I don’t want to accidentally bite on my cheek. But for anyone who is nervous, it is no big deal and this surgery is so easy!
i just got all 4 removed, had an IV to put me “under” and woke up towards the end 😅 im on day 5 and the first few days i felt very minimal pain but now im SUFFERING FROM DRY SOCKETS REALLY BAD bc i used a straw all day yesterday😭 it hurts sooo bad guys do nooot do that !! also dont rinse the holes too hard ! hopefully this doesnt continue to hurt bc im trying to get braces soon. good luck everyone !!
Honestly one of the worst parts about it is not being able to brush your teeth normally. Especially because after the surgery your mouth feels dry and kind of icky.
THIS. had it done a month ago and not being able to fully brush or use listerine made me feel so yucky, considering i had gaping wounds in the back of my mouth. i was so scared of getting an infection during the first few days.
I had ONE wisdom tooth removed but it was an impacted one and it feels as if I had serious surgery done. Haven’t been able to eat. Currently on day 3 and have started to try pasta and I just can’t. That’s the great you had such a chill experience.
it really depends on the situation in what your wisdom teeth are. I had one extracted - a hard one, and let me tell you- i took pain killers (prescribed ones, not OTC) for 10 days. ir was a hell of a journey. now it is month after and Im not 100 % healed. and I have one more left. all the best wishes for everyone going through this. 🤞🏼
I’m watching this after getting my four wisdom teeth removed. My experience has been very similar to yours. I have had absolutely no pain, and very little swelling. I am pleasantly surprised because this is not the experience that I expected. Everyone’s recovery is different, and I am just so happy that my recovery has been painless.
WARNING! For those about to get their wisdom teeth removed. Make sure you brush ALL your teeth gently with a very soft toothbrush, including the gum where your wisdom teeth were. I didn’t brush back there and food got stuck underneath my gum (my gum healed over the food) and I got an infection!
@@morningrainthornburg623 I’m pretty sure she means afterwards a while. From most docs I’ve heard they’d rather you not brush your teeth the same night on the day of surgery. Then, next day start brushing gently. Main thing is you don’t want to dislodge the blood clot that has formed over socket. Dislodged blood clot= dry socket which is an extremely painful side effect/complication. It happens most often on lower 3rd molars. It can even happen to women due to where we are in our hormones and cycle at time of surgery. So it’s very important to follow all directions from surgeon to the letter! Most oral surgeon offices will send you home with a care “kit” after surgery. This should include an irrigation syringe which helps to keep the sockets/ open wounds free of food debris if you clean them out after each time you eat. beginning on day 5-7 ish if I’m not mistaken... you want to wait until they’ve begun healing a bit bcuz that irrigation tool can also dislodge the blot clot. and it’s continued until the holes completely heal in about a month or so. I’m getting mine out on the 4th of February 2021 (so exactly 6 days from now) and I’m absolutely terrified! I’m 32 and both my lowers are impacted. My left lower has a completely solid root attached to my jaw bone on all sides. And all my surgeon wrote me Is naproxen aka (alieve) and told me to take Tylenol in between. I have SO much fear that just isn’t going to be enough for me. I’m terrified! 😭
@@Jessica_Ramirez_909 hi! I almost didn’t want to answer right away because I’m only at the end of day 4 today post op. I don’t want it to all sound negative lol. But figured it might not hurt to comment while it’s still so fresh in my mind. Then, maybe I can come back and do an update Later on. So, it’s a bit different for everyone. But here is My experience so far: I had all 4 removed at once. My top ones were in but my lower right was a partial bony impaction and my lower left was a complete bony impaction. I got knocked out for it (iv sedation) so I literally do not remember anything from the removal or surgery. My surgeon didn’t even tell me when he was giving me the drugs. Or if he did tell me I don’t remember it lol. As soon as the iv was in place, they strapped my arm to this thing that keeps you from bending your arm... and I saw he had a syringe with clear stuff in it, I thought maybe he was just flushing my iv with saline first but nope. That’s the last thing I remember was seeing that and then I woke up with gauze in my mouth. It’s so weird how whatever that cocktail is they give makes you not remember a thing! I honestly didn’t feel that high either after but apparently I was kind of out of it because I was told When I got home I was acting a little funny even though I “felt” completely normal. Lol. Makes sense why they require a driver to take patients home after iv sedation! The numbing shot he put in my mouth (after I was already asleep) was super long acting. I didn’t feel any pain and was numb for like 8 hours after surgery. I made sure the second I got home though to begin taking my pain medicine and started icing. Before surgery, I bought one of those things that wraps around your head that holds ice packs to your cheeks hands free. I would 100% recommend you get one of those ASAP if your surgeon doesn’t offer them for free. I got Mine off Amazon (wasn’t very much money and so worth it!) The one on amazing came with 4 ice packs but I went to the company page and ended up buying another set of ice packs separately. Which was good bcuz they do melt quickly and freeze slowly it seems like. You can also make your own ice packs by filling snack size ziplock bags with frozen peas and those make just the right size packs to fit the wrap thing too. First 48 hours I kept ice on as much as humanly possible. After that time frame, I don’t think it has anymore benefit for swelling but I am still using my wrap thing today as warm compresses. omg it feels so good on my poor face. Every time I do my warm compresses with the head wrap thing, I instantly fall asleep 😴. I swelled up pretty good and have some bruising on my face and lower jaw. Day 2 and 3 were the absolute worst. Though truthfully, I haven’t been in like excruciating pain at all yet. (Like I thought I would be) Actually I haven’t felt anything worse than a 4 or 5 out of 10 and that was only for a short part of day 2. I attempted to eat some mashed potatoes for dinner on day two and it was way too soon for me. The pain made me stop and I’ve been afraid to try again since lol. But Rest of the time my pain has been around a solid 3. Not unbearable. I’ve been keeping up on my meds (super important not to let the pain get ahead of you!!) so every 4 hours I take Tylenol even in the middle of the night I have my alarms set. Then naproxen every 12 hours. My doc did end up giving me a small script for norco and I have taken it a few times so far but trying to conserve it in case I do end up developing dry socket despite all my efforts not to get it. So far so good but I’m not out of the woods yet. I’d say The worst part for me has been my jaw being so sore and tight. I can’t barely talk. I sound like a muffled person speaking gibberish. Thank goodness for texting lol. Can’t open my mouth wide enough to fit more than the very tip of a spoon into it. So I haven’t been able to eat anything besides liquid and puréed stuff. Like yogurt, plain ice cream with zero chunks of anything in it, applesauce, protein shakes, pudding, and mashed avocado with a little salt on it. I was sooo hungry today!! I keep having dreams about food. I dunno if it’s bcuz I was hungry or my body/brain misses the motion of chewing food. But anyways. Today I FINALLY was able to tolerate some mashed potatoes for dinner. Woohoo!!! First actual filling food I’ve had yet. What I ended up doing was I mixed it with some cottage cheese and put into the microwave for a min or 2. Let it cool down some, and I was able to eat it in tiny bites. The cottage cheese made the potatoes creamier and much easier to swallow. Plus, it gave me a little added protein. I didn’t realize I would not be able to have anything citrus or lemony. Ouch just the thought of lemon anything stings. I made a bunch of homemade soups for myself ahead of time and froze them.... haven’t been able to eat any of them yet because they have little chunks or bits of things and I’m too paranoid about getting dry socket. I don’t want to risk anything getting caught in there. My Homemade broccoli cheese soup is going to have to wait. Also staying away from anything with real strawberry or blueberry because those fruits have little seeds. I probably won’t be having rice, popcorn or anything like that anytime soon either. I haven’t even attempted to chew food yet, still mashing it with my tongue against the roof of my mouth and then swallowing whole. But that’s just me. I’m being extra cautious! I would suggest blended soups too at first as long as they don’t have anything in them that could get stuck in the sockets. At least for the first 4 days to a week depending how you feel. And instead of using a bowl and spoon I would recommend sipping everything liquid from a cup, even soup. The slurping motion from a spoon can be bad. Same with sucking on a straw, vigorous mouth rinsing and spitting. I’m avoiding all 4 of those actions until i’m more healed. And no smoking and absolutely no alcohol either. Alcohol can dissolve the blood clot that forms in the socket that is crucial to healing. Both my Mom and sister got dry socket so I’m paranoid I’m going to get it too if you can’t tell lol. My sis was on birth control though and I’m not. I was reading bc puts women at a 30% higher risk I rinse my mouth with sea salt water after each time I eat, but I don’t swish, I put the liquid in my mouth and gently tip my head from side to side slowly. Then, instead of spitting I lean over the sink and kinda let it fall out of my mouth. I’m trying to think if there is any more advice.... oh! I was not prepared for the constant taste of blood in my mouth days 2&3. It’s finally gotten a bit better today. So yucky! Though when I drink water or do my salt water rinse, they tend to ooze a little bit of blood again. Everything I’ve read says this is completely normal. And I guess it makes sense, if we had incisions anywhere else on our body they would probably ooze/drain some while healing. I just wasn’t expecting that part. It is really gross I’m not gonna lie. But it is temporary and a normal part of healing. I haven’t used the syringe thing they gave me to irrigate my lower sockets yet. Going to wait until day 7 or 10 to start that. Plus I haven’t eaten anything yet that could get stuck in there. Apparently they can ooze blood when you irrigate them too. Fun fun. Oh I also have only been sleeping on my back, with my head propped up a bit with pillows. Last thing I can think of is I did buy myself a new toothbrush for after surgery. It’s the surgical kind that is very very soft. I’ve still been staying far away from the extraction sites though whilst brushing. I think you will be fine, don’t worry too much! As long as you stay really on top of your pain medicine, it’s really more discomfort than pain. And annoying. Waking up every 4 hours in the middle of the night sucks to take pain meds but I’d rather do that than let my pain get out of control! Anyways, that’s all I have for now. I may come back to this thread in a week or so and add more if I think of it or if I get any complications. Remember to take your meds, keep mouth clean, but be very careful of the sockets. Get lots of rest, drink water and eat whatever soft baby food like foods you can manage. Ice 20 mins on, 20 mins off for the first 24-48 hours. Then warm compresses. Good luck to you! I’m sure everything will go fine. And it is worth getting them out now as it just gets worse the older we get!
I just got my wisdom teeth out too! About to go to today for my one week check up! It was not fun at all eating is a pain and I was really hangry the whole week 😪. Wasn’t allowed to use straws or eat chips either. Just try to keep your mouth as clean as possible so you don’t get an infection! Good luck! 🍀👍🏽
me too I’m on day 2 , can you update me how it went? I’m literally hungry cuz I can’t even eat what I want, I’ve basically have ate’n ice cream and yogurt which isn’t good enough 💀
I started watching you when I got my braces on two years ago and now this time next month I'll be getting them off! Thank you so much for all of your tips and tricks!
Hope your wisdom teeth are feeling better!Your videos help me a lot with my braces and inspire me to take care of them, even when they are a pain (literally). Thanks for all of your wonderful vids and have a Happy New Year!!!
I had all 4 of mine removed at once and was absolutely fine! I could even eat! I don’t know what they do to us in the UK but we don’t go as crazy as everyone else 😂
I got those on the right side removed in October and the others three days ago... I got them remove on local anesthesia but I was awake, I couldn't feel pain but a lot of pressure. I don't know what they do in UK ahaha, but I live in Italy and it wasn't a funny experience at all: The first day and the day after I could barely speak, I couldn't open my mouth more than a few millimeters so I could only drink or eat extremely liquidy foods (like ice cream). I felt a pain but not that much, I was more dizzy because of painkillers and frustrated because i couldn't open my mouth. I was super swollen. Yesterday I ate creamy foods and i could speak but I still couldn't open my mouth and wash my teeth properly. I was very swollen and felt some pain. Today everything improved, I could brush my teeth properly and check what was going on there. I can open more my mouth but still can't speak properly and chew.
hi emma i just wanted to let you know i’ve had braces for a year now and i’m halfway done already!! only 1 year left :) i started watching your braces videos before i got them and they’ve really helped me through my journey with braces. i still love when you upload and i hope you’re doing great
Hi Emma! I remember getting my wisdom teeth out and it was awful the first two days, just rest and relax, drink a lot of water too! Although in Canada we go to the normal dentist to get our wisdom teeth out and not the hospital Hope you get better soon :)
Im on day 5 and Im getting better, just keep drinking fluid, no spitting, extra pillows on head when sleeping, dont sleep on side, and NO solid, i could eat solid yesterday but it was extra careful. no spices either/seasonings, itll irritate the wound. goodluck everyone!
Getting mine removed 2 days after you posted this video, but this year (Dec 22), and you talking about the happy anticipation of Christmas movie marathons is giving me so many ideas of what to do! I'm a bit bummed that I'll be in pain during my Christmas break, but this is the best time for me to get them removed, and doing something festive should cheer me up (along with a Wizards of Waverly Place marathon)!
I just got my wisdom teeth removed YESTERDAY, and I was only supposed to go to the dentist for pictures??!! I wasn’t expecting it AT ALL and I’ve been in pain all day!😩😷🤤
For anyone wondering, the pain differs, a lot of people don’t hurt, and a lot of people do, usually it’s pretty tolerable though. I kind of just like to think that nothings going to happen, and it only lasts a couple of days
Just got all of my wisdom teeth removed around 11 hours ago. It’s been a good experience for me so far - hardly any pain or swelling. The biggest disturbance atm is my throat (I was asleep during the procedure so they had to put a tube in my throat to help me breathe). It’s important to note that mine were standing straight so it only took doctors 20 minutes to get them all out🙈 don’t be scared, especially if you have an easy case like mine! I’ll keep you updated
Just had all 4 taken out earlier today and it was not bad at all. The IV was quick and I was under in less then a minute. So far the pain has been around a 5-6/10 without pain meds but with them it’s around a 1-2/10. You have no reason to worry just make sure you have good pain medication ready for when you get home and have soft easy to eat food.
@@rosamontesdeoca7923 My situation was bad though, my wisdom went through my jaw bone close to hitting some nerves, i even got an exposed sinus lol but I'm a lot better. It took like a whole week for my swelling to subside and two weeks for pain. It does get better though! But i never want to experience this ever again
I feel incredibly lucky that I’m in literally no pain. I’m on day two and I’m ready to eat tacos. The worst pain for me wasn’t even really pain but just soreness but after a painkiller and some ice, I was chilling. I’d say the worst part about this whole experience is not being able to eat much, but that might just be my stomach talking. Lol.
GURRRRRRL. I HAVE BRACES NOW! I got them about 3 months ago... I just couldn't wait to rewatch all your braces videos!!! And still rewatch all your videos almost every 2 days bc im just so obsessed with it! Idk why, but i feel you and i have something in common but i can't put my finger on it😭
I just got mine taken out today and it’s been almost 5 hrs and I don’t feel much pain either. I think you didn’t get much pain because you seem to take care of your teeth well. I’d prefer to have a swollen face instead of feeling pain. I hope I’ll be fine the rest of this week
@@ameliadavis3380 I had general anesthesia. They put me to sleep by injecting on the front of my hand (not the palm) with a UV. I was knocked out quickly and woke up without pain or remembering anything 😆
@@ameliadavis3380 it’s been a week since and during the time i was recovering I was never in pain. Though everyone’s body reactions to medication is different. I Just made sure to eat soft foods the first week and I’m slowly eating other foods like rice and eggs now.
How are you not loopy out of your mind LOL?! I swear he seemed so chill after the surgery. Also Do you guys not have to wear masks anymore over there? If that is true you guys are lucky!
I just got mine removed 4 days ago and I’m feeling fine! The only thing is I am still very bruised and my teeth are a bit sore but it’s been a really easy time the first day of recovery I went to lunch with some of my friend i was only able to eat ice cream but I’ve been able to eat any thing I want really.
Don’t sweat it, for me the worst thing was the first week of pure pain but that was only when eating and soup was my best friend. Other than that it will fly by with the only difference being how you brush and floss.
I'm getting my wisdoms out in 3 days. and this video calmed me down soooo much. I honestly don't know why I was stressing. I'm hopefully getting my braces put on in the next 5-6 weeks and I will definitely be trying your tips and tricks with that
@@tyraleigh4690 day 4 and i feel so much better my swelling is going back slowly but it is so i'm happy just waiting for the time i can finally eat normal. Hbu? Are you okay? All the best
@@aichaelhali5601 I’m on day 5 today and I have a small bruise on my chin. I’m still in a bit of pain but its getting better 🥰. The stitches are becoming a bit annoying, constantly feels like something is in my tooth Hope you’re doing well All the best love 💕
Today I got my braces tightened and I made them green and red so it's Christmas themed. Your videos helped me be a little bit less scared of getting braces so thank you for making them!
I had mines done a week ago. I still feel a little lump from area in btwn my cheek and gum. I am not sure if it is normal. I plan on celebrating eating real food this weekend! I was trying to take it easy by eating soup, yogurt, apple sauce since day 1 (all i kept thinking about were donuts 🍩 🙃).
My experience so far - hope this helps anyone getting their wisdom out Day 1- Monday - Eat a big meal before surgery. tooth extracted by general aesthetic at 10am. Didn’t hurt, wasn’t in any pain. Lots of tugging and felt like a grown man ripping my cheek apart! (Literally) took around 30mins to extract 1 tooth. No pain just VERY uncomfortable and lots of pressure. I took pain killers an hour after surgery as pre caution. Bleeding from the stitches didn’t stop for 6 hours after surgery- went back to the dentist, they checked it and said it’s nothing to worry about. REMEMBER to use a WET gauze for 30mins & then leave the gauze out and see if it clots on its own. Worked for me I managed to eat some soup cooled down, water, yogurt. I took pain killers every 4 hours as per caution. Got sore throat and face started to swell that evening. Used ice on cheeks. The bleeding went down during the night on its own. Didn’t get any sleep- slept upright, which was very uncomfortable. Day 2- Tuesday- cheeks are very swollen! Sore throat but no pain. Got a slight fever, used wet cold towel on my head throughout the day. I still had blood taste in mouth but no active bleeding.. I ate porridge, rice pudding, ice cream, soup and sipped on lots of water throughout the day. Hurts to swollen due to sore throat. Been taking pain killers every 6 hours through out the day. I managed to brush some of my teeth very carefully, Avoiding the site of extraction . (This made me feel better) sleep was better than the night before but still uncomfortable & kept waking up. Slight pain 4/10 at night. Day 3 - Wednesday - throat is very sore, voice is gone, blocked nose, headache. Think I got a cold. Fever has gone down. Bad taste in mouth. Brushed teeth carefully as much as I could. Done salt and water rinse (check on UA-cam how to) Swelling still same as yesterday. Ate decent enough soft foods, drank lots of fluids, made matcha tea and drank it cold. salt rinse after each meal. Only taken 2 pain killers. No pain, just discomfort. Horrible taste in mouth is going.
Hahaha i had my wisdom tooth removed like a few days back and right after surgery i had volcano chicken😹 i was in no pain at all and didn’t even take the pain killers guess I’m among the gifted ones😹😹😹
I got mine out like 4 days ago, really wasn’t painful at all, the only part is the sour taste to be honest. I’m using this syringe to clean my stitches, but I can’t seem to get this taste to go away. On a bright note this morning I ate 2 breakfast burritos, and a egg sandwich. I think eating normal food on day 4 with no pain is good, of course I have to eat slow, but it’s great!
I just got my wisdom teeth removed yesterday and today I woke up with so much pain 😩 I hope the days go by fast because I want to eat solid food again lol
Just got my two bottom taken out 4 hours ago! my jaw hurts .. but that’s about it. What are you guys eating? Tried some broth , and it’s like drinking water.. I’m still hungry!
I just got mine out today, and I don’t remember anything after the put the IV in my arm. The last thing I remember is saying “I have a weird test in my throat.” When we got home, I didn’t realize how blood I was accidentally swallowing, and I got so sick. I didn’t fully come out of the “loopy” phase until like 3-4 hours afterwards. And I JUST got feeling back in my lower lip and chin. It’s almost 12pm here, and I got out of surgery at 12 something.
Hi Emma, I think I had my wisdom teeth extraction surgery exactly the same hospital as yours. And I’m getting my braces in two weeks time in my late 20s. Just wanted to say thank you so much for all the braces videos, they are so helpful and makes me not scared about this journey and know what to expect. 😘😘
Got mine out three days ago. It doesn’t hurt at all lol unless your pain tolerance is really low. Also don’t do a single thing this girl did besides have soup for the first day. Have jelly, pudding, apple sauce, yogurt, etc. For first two-three days. Then you can start doing softer foods
I got mine out this morning and the pain was the worst pain I’ve ever felt. I’m 14 and the doctor had to dig very deep down. It was so unbelievably unbearable but you get over it.
Did they have to knock you out and then drill into your jaw to remove the tooth? I'm 22 and got my upper left wisdom tooth taken out but it was apparently positioned so perfectly in my jaw that they didn't need to knock me out and the removal took less than 5 minutes. Surprisingly there wasn't any drilling. It's been about 20 hours and I still haven't felt any pain at all. I feel very lucky about that, but I'm still afraid to eat anything so I've been drinking water and smoothies all day. I wonder if my experience will be worse if I have to get any of my other wisdom teeth removed, I still have 3 left :\
@@bitch8205 it’s not the same for everyone but usually the bottom ones hurt more than the top ones and are more often more trouble to get out. Can’t tell you about the pain yet as I haven’t had surgery yet but my top wisdom teeth grew in like regular molars while the bottom ones don’t have enough room and will probably have to be drilled into. IDK about Knocking Someone out, that probably depends on where you live and your age but if they do all 4 they usually will at least sedate you a little because it can take a while. My friend had all 4 removed in her early 20s without sedation (I was the one to accompany her to the dentist) and she was a really quick patient with 30 minutes all in. She also didn’t really have any pain afterwards and was just annoyed that she couldn’t really eat.
I’m 14 and I just got told that I need my 4 wisdom teeth taken out plus one extra tooth before I can start my braces journey. I have never had anything more than a dental cleaning so I have no idea what to expect. I thought that it was a bit early to be doing this but apparently it is what needs to be done.
I’m 15 and one of my wisdom teeth is emerging. I have an appointment on Monday and I’m so scared lol I have dental anxiety so this makes this situation much worse

Hi Emma first of all, love you! Second, this is a very stupid question (questions)
Was it so painful?
Does it hurt when you wake up after surgery? If so, does the pain continue for a few days?
What things do you recommend for eating and drinking while recovering?

@@EleazarEspinozaLeal got mine taken out yesterday how r u feeling?

How you feeling now
this is the most positive wisdom teeth removal video I've ever seen😂
Honestly one of the worst parts about it is not being able to brush your teeth normally. Especially because after the surgery your mouth feels dry and kind of icky.
THIS. had it done a month ago and not being able to fully brush or use listerine made me feel so yucky, considering i had gaping wounds in the back of my mouth. i was so scared of getting an infection during the first few days.
@@bannappleblondeme too. what day were you able to feel comfortable even putting a toothbrush back there 😭😭
I had ONE wisdom tooth removed but it was an impacted one and it feels as if I had serious surgery done. Haven’t been able to eat. Currently on day 3 and have started to try pasta and I just can’t. That’s the great you had such a chill experience.
I had 2 impacted and I still cant open my mouth 2 days later 🤣
@@RoRo-hw3um was surgery painful having 2 impact ones?
I had 4 of my impacted wisdom teeth taken out while awake 😫🤣
she did say she waited a while so hers probably weren’t impacted tbh
How is this girl so fricken gorgeous
Geneeesss. She is really pretty. c:
it really depends on the situation in what your wisdom teeth are.
I didn’t brush back there and food got stuck underneath my gum (my gum healed over the food) and I got an infection!
thanks for this advice, it's super helpful!!
When you get out or after you heal
@@MsGlitterVeins21 How did it go? Was it painful? I'm 31 and I get all 4 of mine removed next month and I'm scared.
But here is My experience so far:
I had all 4 removed at once.
Both my
Mom and sister got dry socket so I’m paranoid I’m going to get it too if you can’t tell lol. My sis was on birth control though and I’m not. I was reading bc puts women at a 30% higher risk
I rinse my mouth with sea salt water after each time I eat, but I don’t swish, I put the liquid in my mouth and gently tip my head from side to side slowly.
Good luck! 🍀👍🏽

I got those on the right side removed in October and the others three days ago... I got them remove on local anesthesia but I was awake, I couldn't feel pain but a lot of pressure.
I don't know what they do in UK ahaha, but I live in Italy and it wasn't a funny experience at all:
The first day and the day after I could barely speak, I couldn't open my mouth more than a few millimeters so I could only drink or eat extremely liquidy foods (like ice cream).

Youre so lucky you didn't get a dry socket, the way you swished that salt water around almost pulled all my clots out the sockets 😬
My experience so far - hope this helps anyone getting their wisdom out
Day 1- Monday - Eat a big meal before surgery. tooth extracted by general aesthetic at 10am.
Worked for me
I managed to eat some soup cooled down, water, yogurt.
(This made me feel better)
sleep was better than the night before but still uncomfortable & kept waking up.
I love how she posted at 1:00AM
Hahaha i had my wisdom tooth removed like a few days back and right after surgery i had volcano chicken😹 i was in no pain at all and didn’t even take the pain killers guess I’m among the gifted ones😹😹😹
Your dentist is a magician
i watched your vids back when i had braces and now i'm here again watching you when i'm going to be having my wisdom teeth removedd heh :)
Girllll your so underrated!!!!
Btw love your vids ❤️

Missed you !!😭💕
She is back !❤️
OMG! I've got my bottom wisdom teeth removed before the installation of my braces. I'm kinda missing your braces videos. 🥲
I just got mine out 2 days ago and it’s really swollen😩😩
Emma! You gotta upload more often I love your vids! 🥺💕
@@popoffpeppar I also have severe dental anxiety so I definitely get where you are coming from.
@@larahturnbull3265 I cant input on the timing because im not sure, but im 19 and just got mine out yesterday morning in the chair with local anaesthetic only and it was a really great experience, i was terrified too. There was no pain whatsoever during the procedure and nothing to be scared of. Recovery isn't even bad, I'm taking the codeine and ibuprofin and am swollen but not in too much pain at all. I thought it would be much worse!
@@justicenicholson4063 thank you for your reassurance!
@@justicenicholson4063 omg thank you for commenting this. my removal is scheduled for tmrw and im so nervous but i feel a bit better after reading ur comment
Please do an updated skincare routine!!💕😍
OMGGGG I MISSSS YOU EMMAAAAAAA
How do you look so normal after your surgery?! I had mine taken out under GA as well but oh my gosh I was so knocked out lol I couldn't keep my eyes open after and was just so sleepy the whole day! Glad your surgery went well for you! :)
Hiya, I had my wisdom teeth out yesterday and a Coronectomy! I definetly feel you pain when you said you could only explain it as tightness. I'm SOOOO hungry but I can't hardly my open mouth 1 day post op haha!
It will get worse before it gets better!
Hope your recovery went well. What doesn't help is I'm a student nurse as well who works in theatres currently so that was scary!!!!!
