Very cool. I really liked that "twist, then untwist" detail. I always wondered how that shape was made.
The concept to use your own hands to "touch" the fire is awesome!
What a perfect mix of modern technology and old school blacks nothing- you sir, continue to amaze!
I was half expecting 1 of the hands to give us the middle finger
You and me both. LOL.
Guess I need to make a middle finger fire poker now...
Tyler Marsh .. just what I was thinking too Sir..
Was about to ask where is the middle finger. :)
Jimmy wouldn’t do that!
Love it. It's whimsical, stupid simple, yet 100% functional/practical. I've always enjoyed your on-the-fly material handling efficiencies like cutting the rod nearly through as you measure.
He is just so handy that jimmy is I tell you what.
I gotta hand it to you, Dave, that was a good one ;-) All the best, @HoneyOnWales
Piss off Dave
David Waelder Tell y'what man, you talk'n bout ol' meanin' ah life, man, go read tha' ol hitchiker's guide, man, y'know talkin' bout ol, 42, man.
When the eventual zombie apocalypse occurs, I call dibs on Jimmy as my back up / weapon creator.
Iam from Egypt and i like your craft you are the best in the world 😍😍😍
I love all your projects. My all time favorite still is the bench outside the coffee shop with "hand"rest for a cup of coffee
Watching Jimmy work is one of the true pleasures in life....
Fun build, useful tools. Best part was the magnetic ice pick to grab the plasma cut parts.
Got to hand it to you, that is hands down the best video I have seen in a while.
Nice touch the way you cut the round bar stock. Saved your back from bending over so much. Nice work Jimmy.
Only Jimmy Diresta could put his hands in the fire and not get burnt! Thanks once again kind Sir.
I had to double check my phone when it said jimmy diresta made a UA-cam video 😂 been awhile still love em
These are brilliant, hand tools are underrated these days
😂 hand tools
Super cool Jimmy! That twist / untwist was a cool detail. - Jim
So *that's* how the twist features are formed... Thanks JD!
watching the video and thinking; "What he is doing? He is crazy?", when video finishes i'm so amazed with the idea even with the "hand holder tools", nice job as always!
Jimmy you are a problem solving master. I truly love all of your projects, especially the ones with a definite purpose. Much love from Fate Texas!
I've gotta hand it to ya, that's a pretty awesome project idea. I might try my hand at this once I get access to the tools and resources. The concept of each step seems simple enough to grasp for a novice like me.
Tiene usted muchísimo ingenio sr. Diresta se aprende mucho de sus vídeos gracias
Now that’s a classic Diresta style video! Hands down!
Great work Jimmy. I am really enjoying the forge work
Cool . I dig it very much . Beautiful set . Thank you Jimmy !

Now that’s some cool fire pit tools, nicely done brother 👊🏽✊🏽
brilliant! now I want a set!
I didn’t read the title and for a sec there I though you were making a pooper scooper. Lol. Great job as always brother !!!
I hope this kind of craft never dies ❤️
Very clever! I like it a lot. I only have two suggestions. On the pointy poker, make the thumb more upright and pulled back so you can use it as a hook to pull stuff. Also I'd have made the base of the stand look like a foot or a shoe.
Nice work = nice looking tools, and a good looking Allis Chalmers C in the background!
Nice! Real nice, Jimmy! Those will come in handy for sure!
You make people smile and that is awesome man
Amazing work Jimmy!

Nicely done.
Now you can actually put your hands in the fire. 🔥 this was very interesting to watch! Wish I could have access to a metal shop and learn too one of these days.
Oh yes! Cris, I would really like to see what you would create in a metal shop! :)
They’re so cool. The fire poker is my favourite! What A cool idea.
Way cool. Great work!
Awesome...PS, I binged on all your old axe videos recently, seeing you use one again in this video makes me want to see a new one! 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Now that my friend is one excellent HAND job.
Você é um gênio, Jimmydiresta!

Cool stuff
You did such a good job I gotta *hand* it to ya
Nice vid. Unique idea. I need one of those Lincoln 140’s in my shop.
I was thinking the same things, and that unit makes such a nice "sizzle". :)
Nice work.
How freaking awesome. Love it.
super legal, parabens jimmy
Let's put our HANDS together for Jimmy and a job well done!
Jimmy, you need another set of the extending hands, only this time, scale the hand size WAY DOWN! Then you can put those creepy little doll hands on over the metal "skeleton"!
Practical horseplay, always rad Jimmy. Cheers, Steve aka The Talking Fly
Nice work Jimmy !😎🤘DIRESTA style !
Great video jimmy
I like the plasma cutter, amazing machine!👏👍
Nice work men 👍👌
Adoro seus vídeos! 👏👏👏
Always amazing!!
I think curved fingertips on the scissorhands would help. Not a big deal, I'm still amazed by your creativity and I wish to be more like you.
Go Jimmy!
Nice work
Man your shop is pretty awesome 👍
reminds me when i was a kid and go camping in the Catskills my dad always had cool tools like this he'd make for the fire pit.

thought the Auxiliary top was intended as "hold my beer" pole...
You are a very talented guy, like your friend from ¨Hand tool rescue¨, I like your videos
Those Are Great Brother!
Youre my hero, Jimmy!
One of the first things I'll do when I get a welder for sure.. & the other tools, but I'm halfway there already
This is art!
sos muy genio!!! saludos de Argentina!!! cheee
Thanks Jimmy!!!
Pretty handy lookin......👍👍👍👍 somebody had to say it
You should have a wet gauge (a piece of metal that can get hot) to check the size of each basket so they are more consistent in size along a railing. You just weld or clamp a custom-made channel to the vice/table. Everyone likes baskets!!
