Love it. It's whimsical, stupid simple, yet 100% functional/practical. I've always enjoyed your on-the-fly material handling efficiencies like cutting the rod nearly through as you measure.
Very clever! I like it a lot. I only have two suggestions. On the pointy poker, make the thumb more upright and pulled back so you can use it as a hook to pull stuff. Also I'd have made the base of the stand look like a foot or a shoe.
I've gotta hand it to ya, that's a pretty awesome project idea. I might try my hand at this once I get access to the tools and resources. The concept of each step seems simple enough to grasp for a novice like me.
Jimmy you're very creativity man! Thank you for sharing. Also, Jimmy please, can you restore your axe (time in video 13:18-13:20 chopping the woods) in next video? Regards!
watching the video and thinking; "What he is doing? He is crazy?", when video finishes i'm so amazed with the idea even with the "hand holder tools", nice job as always!
You should have a wet gauge (a piece of metal that can get hot) to check the size of each basket so they are more consistent in size along a railing. You just weld or clamp a custom-made channel to the vice/table. Everyone likes baskets!!
I still say some has got to study Jimmy’s Mind. He thinks in a different dimension of time and space I believe! It’s like the best of both string, and quantum mechanics.
Jimmy, you need another set of the extending hands, only this time, scale the hand size WAY DOWN! Then you can put those creepy little doll hands on over the metal "skeleton"!
I think curved fingertips on the scissorhands would help. Not a big deal, I'm still amazed by your creativity and I wish to be more like you. Go Jimmy!
Very cool. I really liked that "twist, then untwist" detail. I always wondered how that shape was made.
Love it. It's whimsical, stupid simple, yet 100% functional/practical. I've always enjoyed your on-the-fly material handling efficiencies like cutting the rod nearly through as you measure.

Fun build, useful tools. Best part was the magnetic ice pick to grab the plasma cut parts.
The concept to use your own hands to "touch" the fire is awesome!
Only Jimmy Diresta could put his hands in the fire and not get burnt! Thanks once again kind Sir.
I love all your projects. My all time favorite still is the bench outside the coffee shop with "hand"rest for a cup of coffee
Super cool Jimmy! That twist / untwist was a cool detail. - Jim
