- Just really to continue from the previous video vein here's Mick McManus & Robbie Baron appearing on prime time Saturday night TV most popular show at the time. People today really have no grasp just how popular and famous the wrestling was back in these days
Saturday night telly was worth watching back then,
Show was taped 48 years ago. Sadly Robbie Baron died in 2010, Mick McManus in 2013 and Sir Bruce Forsyth in 2017. RIP.
6 years ago now, how time flies
Rip Bruce Forsyth
Oh, shut that door. Oh, my friend Everard. Great catchphrases by Brucie Fogshyte.
First of all have some respect for those who have died. Secondly, those catchphrases were Larry Grayson's, not Bruce Forsyth's. Being sarcastic and getting your facts wrong only makes you look stupid.
First man served in the Navy, second man served in France and Germany. Seems strange now in 2021. Just a passing remark.
You will find, all these contestants on "Bruce Forsyth & The Humiliation Game"...hilarious.
20.29, there is a different type of finishing school now in Switzerland.
More on the Generation Game theme than wrestling, does anyone know what has happened to uploader Cleops?
@ Paul sawtell didnt he reopen his channel and then it got shut down again. He was never seen on youtube ever since.
@General Depression I haven't a clue I couldnt tell
Bruce was a complete knob, worked with him and was a pretentious arse, only ever wanted to mix with those he could TRY to belittle. It didn’t work with us.
Oh really? When was this? I'd like to hear more.
watch his hand at 49.14.
@David Ritchie to get him in court, they will have to dig him up out of his grave now...surely an accident.
@David Ritchie prob accident
@David Ritchie ok
Clearly he was reaching to her arm to escort her off but he had his head turned and didn’t notice she had moved, you’re making something of nothing, nob.
@@oo0Spyder0oo I agree.
Wonderful to hear lovely English accents from the contestants not multicultural gutter English or banal BBC neutral accents. Interesting people too, ex army major, antique dealer, show jumper and polo player. These days its 'what do you do'? 'I Like sport, watch tv, go to the pub, go running' etc. People were so much more interesting at that time of day.
These days you can get arrested just for saying you’re English
