+Jonny Goodrum I'm glad you found your mum and yourself here. Must have brought back good memories for you. What is Bruce like when the cameras aren't rolling?
Thank you Richard that's very kind of you. Yes without a word of a lie she was like that everyday. She loved this day :) very happy memories of a wonderful mum.
No problem, glad you enjoyed it. Unfortunately those 2 shows are the only ones I have left. Over the last 20 years I have moved house a lot and lost the VHS' I had of quite a few of the 90s shows, sadly.
Twice round with BRUCIE in the 70's and the 90's. Such an ICONIC part of the BBC TV line up on Saturday Nights more so for me in the 70's but I remember watching these 2 shows in the 90's. They have made me laugh so much they have bought me to tears. BRUCIE is no longer with us and its sad but he was the last of the GREAT ENTERTAINERS along with Des O'Conner. What can you say about Rosemary but she is awesome
Great memories when kids had to be in by 4pm for their tea, then settled down all cosey with mum and dad and brother to watch this, those were the days, pity the knew age kids don’t get to see this these days, good comedy too 😊
I actually remember both these episodes when they aired in 1994 I was only 8 years old at the time. I remember the end game on the first episode clearly. The second episode I remember watching it on Christmas Eve 1994 Bruce's last show. I also remember an episode in the same year where Bruce was sick and Jim Davidson took charge. He then took over in the next series I have been looking all over You Tube for an episode from Jim's era.
Rosemarie was so dam hot what she had on in both episodes so many 😂😜 laughs.Bruce knew how to work the audience and help the winners at the end his trademark didn't they do well.I remember these well just watching them i always wanted to know which episode or year they did the Lambada
Does anyone remember if it was this show or something else where they had a funny challenge one time where two teams had to put up a tent and the background music was Night on Bald Mountain? It's been sticking with me for so long and I can't remember what it was
I do like this one of the pantomine I wish I could go on the Generation Game I'd defineitly do the pantomine at the end of the show. with the two games shame I can't do it with my friends, husbands and wife, boyfriends and girlfriends.
When tv was good , i remember tv being good on a Saturday sitting down with my parents and sister watch some good shows. Then usually a decent movie would be on somewhere , tv just full of rubbish now like the only way is essex and love island full of non talented air heads
When tv was GOOD, DECENT, FUN, ENJOYABLE & ENTERTAINING not fucking BORING, COLOUR OBSESSED, JOKELESS & UNENTERTAINING like it is today this show was fronted by the GOD & MASTER of entertainment Sir Bruce Forsyth & Jim Davidson did an INCREDIBLE job this show was AWESOME when Jim Davidson fronted it

he had some great contestants, and really knew how to get the best out of them. : )
I think the first episode in this video must've aired on 19 November 1994 because that's when the first National Lottery draw took place.
ah this is brilliant to watch again. love the GG. Thanks.
Has Sir Bruce Forsyth's Generation Game on Challenge TV.

My granny used to have a vacuum cleaner that looked like Bruce Forsyth.
WillieWagglestick Must have been a good mover!
+SnagglePuss Allan Stewart was absolutely spot on with doing Frank Spencer.

@ 56:07 & 1:56:29 no Generation Game from '94 will be complete without A CUDDLY TOY!
RIP Brucie
generation game need to bring back
miranda Hart would be the best choice
It was and it was awful.
Great!!
What a beautiful Austrian dance!
Somwtimes it was very obvious that certain contestants weren't paying the slightest bit of attention to what the expert was demonstrating.

Yes lots of nice memories :) Bruce was OK I guess. Not quite the happy persona he puts across on the TV :)
That man in the red top was quite a good impersonator!
What sort of dance is it on 1:12:21
Rolf harris....uh oh
It's Sideshow Rotten Horrendous, actually!
Did anyone see how rolf Harris handled that woman
Excellent first episode, shame Rolf popped up in second one but then who new he was a peado back then.
where the fiddle is antibes
Allan Stewart, I remember even back then how his impressions were awful, closely followed by Mike Yarwood and Stanley Baxter.
45:40
Rip
June has two enormous problems, ha!
