Great information and video. I was going to search for battery power supplies and I clicked on your video by mistake. I had clicked outbur I cameback because, in the first few seconds of your video I was already intrigued! I came back and watched the whole video and I'm going to go check out Mission Engineering for this power supply now, great job!

Nice setup! I want to setup something like this to go along with my Yamaha THR desktop amp. I like being able to setup the amp anywhere in the house and not be tied to a power outlet for pedals

This is really, really cool James. Thanks for sharing Brother. All the best from Ireland. I’ll raise a beer (or two) to You this coming Sunday St. Patrick’s Day. 🇮🇪☘️😎🎼🎸🍺🍻🍺👍

My setup is different. I have a USB to 9v converter single cord going to an 8 way splitter (the ones you get with the cheap wall adapter). Seems to work great.

Noise would be the same using a 9v battery?

@@TheJuniorqmpb - yeah I don't notice any big noise or anything. It's just powered off those battery packs that you can charge your phone with through the USB. If you get the US b to 9 volt converter thing the polarities might be the wrong way you can also get a polarity switcher it's just a short little cord. I actually got two of those with my 8-way splitter so some of the splitters come with them.

All you need are a couple of wireless systems for the input and output jacks and your board can go crowd surfing in the mosh pit while you gig!

Finally, I found someone who did what I was hoping to accomplish. And, it works exactly as it should. Great video! I was thinking of using the 529 but the 529i is only $10 more. What made you lean towards the 529?

Hi dude, do you have a recommendation for a good (8 hours +) USB powerbank that I could use for busking with a TC Helicon acoustic play and ditto pedal?
    Thankks

Just curious about your power banks, Are they the trickle down versions are the regular ones. Have you experienced the power banks turning off mid performance/show?

Can you use the 529 while charging with the phone battery at the same time? Or you have it charge first to full power before using?
