Sadly, a combination of complexity, lack of enough printed manuals, lack of proper training on how to use, and the fact maybe only the Master Gunner for the entire Armor Company knew how to operate and maintain it. Led to many Armored units simply not using them at all in combat.

Imo it doesn't feel that balanced in Normandy with all of the american tanks now being stabilized and none of the german tanks are. If my Tiger 1 was stabilized I'd be able to annihilate everything in sight. Although to be fair the allies are typically attacking so the tanks need to be on the move more than germany's. But im going to be quite annoyed if I start getting killed by 76 shermans in my tiger while they're on the move while I have stop and aim to hit a barn from the inside.
I mean if you angle your tiger you can bounce shots pretty easy from the 76 so it ain’t a huge problem but yeah it will suck to go against speedy bois shooting you on the move
It’s funny hearing a Normandy axis person start to say Normandy isn’t balanced. How do you think Normandy Allies players have felt like for the past couple years?

Well thankfully tanks take a lot of skill to drive even in this game. It’s so cumbersome you need to get pst a skill curve usually to drive any of them so I’m guessing if you give a player like me a stabilizer it won’t matter.
I started use binocular in my commander tanks in Stalingrad (play as allies). And guys, so far so good. Is really usefull. I will try it in american normandy tanks, but there i dont think will be good.
Smoke is also good on enemy tank. He cant see shit then and you can finish him with additional shots. When they added stabilisers, they should also revise IS-2, shorten reload to 15s and give it power of hit the 122mm beast deserves. It should be able to disintegrate smaller tanks by turret hit and even TigerII should be heavily damaged by single hit even if it does not penetrate. It launched massive 25kg projectiles with up to 800m/s. Just for comparison Tiger II 88mm KWK 43 fired 10kg projectiles with up to 1000m/s. And Tiger I fired 10kg projectiles at 770m/s...
Theyre easy to kill but a sneaky or skilled player can be a menace one time before the jumbo nerf this puma came out of nowhere and straight one shot rocked my shit, on dead homies that dude must've been listening to erika when he blitzkrieged right through my tight little jumbo tussy, when I respawned I couldn't even recognize my jumbo anymore with the huge gaping hole the size of a raccoon on my poor jumbo, no tank deserves to go out like that.
Meanwhile in War Thunder i swear to god you put the Sherman in second gear and the Stabilizer just STOPS working. Like WHAT is the point of stabilize when your basically going at the speed of a snail? Not saying staying stabilized going 36KPH full speed in Enlisted is any more "historically accurate" but at least it WORKS like you think it would work. EDIT: YO, that dude just climbed up on your Sherman and shoved his flamethrower right into your engine compartment. That is pretty Smart, Ballsy and clever.
Jumbo isn't that op tbh all you need is like a 75mm tank gun and you can easily kill it from either shooting the middle of the wheels or the Hull machine gun port
Enlisted too arcadish and terrible for tanks, especially for Axis. Like every other WW2 FPS, nerf Axis tanks for the sake of balance and give US tanks that never saw combat buffs for the sake of balance. Do German tanks get their historic advantages, like better optics and higher velocity guns? No of course not.
@@GhostOfNormandy Right Tiger a tank that actually saw a lot of combat in numbers. Jumbo only a handful saw combat late in war and has armour values that are pure fantasy and a broken damage model. Optics? where are the superior german optics? Higher velocity guns?
The jumbo is such an easy tank to counter all you need is a 75mm gun or higher to then pen the front Hull machine gun port or a 50mm or higher to pen the side wheel armor that will hit an ammo rack

I play Normandy and use binoculars for tanks. It's fun sniping using the mg and binoculars
