    Hey guys, I worked at a shop in Minnesota called Empire Cycle. We had issues with the axle walking on high power Harley’s so we had aluminum parts cnc’d that mount on the axle and lock the axle from rotating. If you gave them a call they’d probably sell a set to you and it would fix your problem. Thanks for another great video!

    Have you guys considered adding an electronic boost controller? I have an 8psi spring in my bike, then use a Turbosmart E-boost controller to be able to adjust boost by pushing a button. Spring with the controller off (137hp/147tq), 10psi at set point 1 (157hp/164tq), 14psi at set point 2 (179hp/181tq) on my 96" TC. If you wanted to run C16, once you have the boost controller settings figured out on the dyno, you can switch from one fuel to another and just use the race gas setting. Makes switching fuels much easier.

    • @dbk81
      @dbk81 2 роки тому +1

      Imo a boost controller on any type of boosted daily driver/rider is a must, if for nothing else than to protect the motor if you get some bad fuel. Would be a smart investment on their part.

    Now, reliability? Of course it depends on how the beast will be ridden. Has me thinking Dark Horse upgrades to the stock crankshaft/flywheel and switch to Carillo rods. An 02 Triumph Daytona 955i has in excess of 650 hp per ton stock. I’ve seen at least one that gets over 750/ton. Yes the HD might be a better cruiser but I won’t be watching a lot of HD tail lights after a stop light. I’ve seen one with a stage one tune get above 750. Kind of like the pre electronic driving triples as a base for a solid street fighter. All without more than $20K for a “donor” bike plus a Trask blower and cams. It makes a nice show bike but not so much go really.

    I LOOOVVVEEE IT.
    As a former salesman @ HD in Iceland I would really like to suggest a name 4 the bike:
    The Black Ghost!!!!
    First: because no one will think that it has this power and Second: It is probably the succesful fishing fly ever made!!!

    This dude might've just built the first time machine. That kinda torque can bend space and time.
    .......... and also get you a ticket, but that's not the important part.

      I watched Moonshine Harley video and he claims it's important to roll off the throttle on shifts. They use stock transmissions and primary on 181 hp builds. But yours sounds even more insane!

    Came across this series of videos absolutely insane and I love it. You definitely want to switch out the stick swing arm for something designed for that torque and HP. Then race all comers 😂 good luck with the bike
