Many of their lyrics have spiritual themes, drug use, anti-police sentiments, and they have stated that they are feminists (I would have to google around to find the source but it’s probably not that hard to find if you wanted to). Also NOTM maaaaay be about Ride’s opinion on “blackness” but that is just one possible interpretation. DG hasn’t explicitly stated their political views, but far left is the logical conclusion from what we’ve been given so far
