In the courtroom, she gives off that wide-eyed “innocent” vibe like Wendi Adelson. The evidence seems to show she wants to be a victim with that BDSM submission stuff and the love of being strangled. Not sure what that indicates, but I think maybe Alex didn’t want the same thing.

This defense attorney is a living, breathing objection. Doesn’t bode well for your client when you object to everything the State asks. Means their case is probably a pretty strong one… the continual glances toward her defense attorney is also a pretty strong indicator that she is guilty af.
I know this is a very serious and sad case, and my heart goes out to Alex's friends and family, but watching that grey-haired prosecutor read those sexually explicit texts in court with a straight face made me laugh. Does that make me a bad person?

The rest of this post is an excerpt from that news article. Jason Mengel said, "She just seemed at times to be enjoying it. There were times on the witness stand where she was smiling or joking." Mengel was asked by a prosecutor to identify McCandless by an item of clothing and he mentioned that she was wearing a pink jacket. She was but, during a break, she took off the jacket to reveal a green sweater underneath. It meant nothing to most court observers, but Mengel knew its significance; he had given Ezra that sweater when she was hospitalized after the attack. I just can’t shake the notion that phrasing it in this way is her attempt to make this act seem less deliberate. Phrasing it to make it so Ezra had no personal agency in something that might make her look guilty (E.g. “Oh I didn’t delete the MESSAGES” (as one might if they were trying to conceal them or hide something), “I only deleted the APP (which also deleted the messages, oops, but that’s actually not my fault).”

Oh and the defense attorney is trying to close that dam with her claws and teeth. She knows they done effed up with Ezra running her mouth. Get 'em! 😂
Her vocabulary is terrible considering she fancies herself some kind of philosopher. She's reading the writings of the guy she killed, supposedly about her, and still needs her attorney to step in and help her. Wow.
Plus, she constantly says, "I seen"! That gets under my skin!

And she keeps glancing at her defense team like "help!" 😂

On direct she speaks to the jury in a story telling fashion.. On cross she speaks directly to the prosecutor. Stark contrast.
She is afraid of him, doesn’t want to take her eyes off him.
@@birgittabirgersdatter8082 exactly.. she can’t take her eyes off the threat.
9 outta 10 being a submissive stems from abuse.
I don't doubt he was into strangling. many men have a serious porn addiction that bleeds into real life
The fact that he was only into missionary and she introduced him into everything else....
That indicates that Ezra had Borderline Personality Disorder. And likely Histrionic as well.
She wanted to sexually please men in her life, that doesn’t mean she wanted that bdsm stuff. It can be interpreted like she did to to have their love and attention. Doing something like that others want you to do usually comes from early childhood abuse
How bad does Ezra want to claim the prosecutor had s*** assaulted her?

I would love to understand how she was allowed to interpret his meaning when reading his journals, or well anything for that matter. How is that not hear say being she's the defendant, and why is she allowed to create an image of his character based solely on his killers testimony?
Do you mean speculation in place of hearsay?
@@unapologeticallyamy9031definitely speculation but I think it is hearsay when she is telling the court what he told her that it meant. Just letting the killer relay the meaning “straight from the source” who she murdered in cold blood.
@@unapologeticallyamy9031 no I definitely mean hearsay.. If she's asked to tell the jury what the poem is about, that's speculation. But, her reciting her entire conversations with the victim as her evidence of there meaning, in my opinion is her testifying to a conversation. There's no evidence to support that the things she is saying he told her,.are in fact the way he meant it to be read. Logically I can see where he was going, and I personally think she's wrong, and I don't know how she was allowed to say these things as if they're a statement of fact, when she's the only person alive to retell the story. I think if the journals were going to be allowed in, the jury should have been allowed to take the meaning for themselves and any conversations that the defendant claims took place regarding them should have been hearsay!
