Thank you! I've now used this tower 3 times and modified it a bit(swapped every other solid block with a repeater leading into the dropper and used redstone dust as opposed to torches on the other side. Couldn't get it to work otherwise) but everytime I build it I watch this video again just to refresh my memory on how to get it right. They run silent and effectively. Thanks to you and Mumbo Jumbo I'm finally learning about the glories of redstone.
The info was kinda annoying cause I used to Mumbo jumbos super quick easy to understand videos I like. This was cool with the into but kinda long xD (I was in a rush to build it)
I’m loving this series! ❤️ These types of builds are *perfect* for my world since I’m still a bit of a noob lol. Have you ever thought about doing like a Redstone for beginners video? I can totally build designs from other people’s tutorials, but a lot of the components are still a mystery to me. Comparators for example, I just done understand what they do!! 😂
Thanks for the explanation. It really helps for us that haven't been playing minecraft that long and are confused with why people place Redstone certain ways.
Thanks mate Redstone has always confused me a bit and most tutorials just show you what to do without how it works. Yours have helped me immensely in this way.
You explain things pretty well. I watched your item filter video half a dozen times and built it a couple times. I think I got the hang of it. Think I’ll make learning this my next project. Thanks and keep it up👍🏻
Dude I have been using a Redstone elevator kind of like this for years and I didn't even full understand how it worked until you explained how each step worked! Thank you for such an amazing explanation!
Awesome explanation. I am just starting to learn Redstone and this video really helped me understand why I placed certain block in certain places following tutorials. So far it seems like you are arranging the tutorial in progression with the prior video, if so, that's awesome. Introduce one new thing in a video, then go into detail about it in the next one makes it real easy to understand. I never knew why or how a clock worked until now. Thank you and can't wait for the next one.
Great job explaining all the components and their interactions with each other. It’s nice to copy someone’s farm to kinda learn redstone but having someone like you Prowl explaining the logic of placement and usage of each individual piece makes learning more intuitive. Thank you for the video!

Just a question why did you put the blocks in between the observers and droppers? Why not put the observer right against the dropper and save more space?
Because if it powers the dropper directly it also fires the dropper above and below that one and makes a lot of extra noise and lag

Okay noteblocks don't really work, and also you should put the repeater on 4 ticks so that no items will remain in the droppers.
Why not just a soul-sand column with a dispenser at the bottom?
They’re 3 wide this is 2 wide. Bit more convenient for compact storge systems

Doesn't work in 1.18 Java for me. The redstone torches don't update so the items only travel up to the third dropper.

It leaves 1 item in the final top dropper though 👌
Just stack a block and redstone torch on top of it, combined with a comparator clock at the bottom. Lot cheaper.
That also makes an ungodly amount of noise from the droppers. And can leave items in the droppers.
@@Prowl8413 I love the noise of droppers in the morning. A bubble column is the best option, and the cheapest.
