Hello Maria, Again, very informative and entertaining video. I had no idea how violent singing lessons could be. (Well, my piano teacher sometimes threatens me with the guillotine).😵💫
No offense, in my humble opinion, you should look at the score and your own technique, before teaching wrong things: 1. Look at the short trills, which you dont sing... It is Stride la VAmpa with a TRILL and not only gruppeti 2. Singing an a instead of an i on a high note, means to have no technique to sing the right vowels with opening inside 3. Practice your chestnotes. Azucena is a real mezzo role, for which you need strong middle and low notes. For the trill listen to Marily Horne, for the strong chest notes to Fedora Barbieri or Dolora Zajick For the right vowels to Christa Ludwig, who also sang Azucena. Or even listen to Brigitte Fassbaender. You have a nice material, but for real teaching, you have to have a little more - and also sing the correct notes.
