Same
Oh yeah.
😆
Beautiful number with great instruction, what more can one ask for! Thanks for sharing. This will go in my Flamenco/Classical playlist!
Love this, this is is exactly how I played this learning by ear!
Great! you made these lesson easy to learn. now i just need to practice it.
Great video, love the split screen presentation. Thanks!
Awesome !! Thank you! I want to learn this song!!!
Dude thank you man. Great teacher, i could never get it from a tab. gonna keep at it and soon i'll have it thanks to you!
You are such an inspiration!
Great video, thanks !
Amazing lesson
Cool! I just wanted to learn a little more about finger picking, but this was also fun and easy enough for me to start playing!
Awesome thank you you made it simple
Bien echo,gracias.
I just wanna say, I love you sir. You are really patient and super detailed. A lot of people post tutorials for "beginners" and that term can be very broad in reality. And for absolute beginners it looks too complex. So thank you for having that in mind.
You are very welcome, Woody
Perfect! Seriously, this is not empty praise. Use of your method is WORKING for me! You have no idea how long I've desired to play this piece. I have a CD with a Percy Faith Symphonic Pop version that I have long admired. I do not find it difficult as I have a solid foundation on the chords. Plus, I have already been working on finger picking for several weeks. I do not have to search for the correct string or fingering but I do have to concentrate on playing the correct Notes and NOT play by ear( as I have tendency to do). To that end; I am going to stay with Part One until I have the correct sequence and rhythm down pat then move on to Part Two. I have download the Tabs & Notes that you've provided.
I am building a Musical Pyramid by practising the Blues Shuffle pattern on a daily basis and now will be adding this as well as the second part .
Thank you for the lesson and materials!
WolfRanger2008 this is such an overwhelming comment.
What can I say with your Musical Pyramid? Amazing! Plus the fact that you're going to add these lessons - awesome :)
Tomas might be busy as of the moment making video lessons rest assured he reads your comment and hopefully time permits, you'll definitely hear a word from him.
Thank you.

I love you brother keep up the good work!
Thanks Robert!
So I’m just starting right now. I think what has been the most helpful part of learning from you, is that when you break it into phrases.
This really helps me a lot . And I think this also separates you from all the other guitar instructors on the Internet
You should do this in all of your videos
Dear Tomas!!! You are number one 1⃣. Thanks a lot for the excellent lesson. I really appreciate yours lessons and every one of them. I try to play this wonderful song. God bless you and your family 👪 too.

Hi Tomas. This is BRILLIANT.
Can't believe it took me so long to find you.
EXCELLENT lesson.
BEAUTIFUL guitar.
I play a Cordoba, and this sounds wonderful on my guitar.
I've been playing since 1973, but an accident to my left (fretting) hand in 2012 nearly ended my guitar playing. So now, after 45 years of playing, I feel like a beginner again. Your lessons are great. Thank you so much.
You're very welcome Jack. It's good to hear from you.
👍😀👌🎸

+Maseeh Shams
great to hear that :)
thank you!
So good
Thank you, Shauna.
I liked it
Thanks Maria.
Hi Tony, after the open 2nd string ...how you play the 3rd string ? Or is it the same -3rd string then open? Thanks in advance
Correct!
Well done....only possible improvement i would suggest is some kind of “on screen” tab/chord diagrams. Might be a bit difficult technically, but other instructors have something like it...playing along in one corner.? Thanks
Thanks for the suggestion. I appreciate it.
this is quite remarkable! I love it! Thank so much
btw,i little correction with the pronunciation, when you say malagueña you should not pronounce the "u" of "gue",imagine is only a "ge" .But the "ña" you said it perfect,no too many people can pronounce it right
+iñigo san jose are u refering to Spanish speaking people,English speaking people or Chinese speaking people, whadayah want 4 nuttin?
+john palma spanish speakers can indeed pronounce the "ñ", the non native spanish speakers normally cannot, they always have a hard time trying to say my name
in serbo-croatian there is also a "nj"="ñ", so that's why is easy for us to pronunciate spanish 😁
Can you send malaguena fingerstyle tab??
Comment trouver la partition svp merci
My guitar teacher loaned me a baritone ukulele to help with my chord and scales drill. I am doing that, but I am doing this, too. But I did warn him I would
Great tutorial but I get lost during the transition with the open strings. Can you elaborate on how to transition between the two chords with the open string section? That's the only part I'm having trouble with. Thanks!
Hi Dakota... I'll check it out. Maybe I need to make a new video on this tune?
That would be great! It's helpful as is... got it down except for the transition. Thanks!
I got the first chord but don't get a minor..... Where all the movement took place... Sorry but I'm a beginner and this sounds amazing and I just wanna learn his to play it.. Even though.. You know... So if you can just share with me what you did there on the second movement( the a minor that is)
thank you for adapting this difficult song so that i can play it :)
Who is the original composer for this song?
Ernesto Lecuona
just xlnt
thanks!
Great , If only we could see ur left hand clearer
What l find when l look at tabs on my phone l can't enlarge them.
The tabs are in pdf format so once you click on the link in the description it takes you to this download pdf page. tomasmichaud.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/Malaguena-Easy2.pdf Download them straight to your phone or even better a computer or print them out to see better for practice.
@Tomas Michaud Hi Tomas, thanks very much for your reply. I am looking into getting a computer.
So far so good but my main problem is that my fingers often hit the other strings lol
its only difficult for me because i keep muting other stings and it doesnt sound right
Thanks for commenting Rupert. Yes, your not the only one with this issue. I do have a video lesson on this ua-cam.com/video/pcZeqf5R-sw/v-deo.html , but it will still take time and practice.
Thank you soo much
Hi, stones fan!
is that a spanish guitar?
It's a Flamenco guitar.
Emajor n A minor were cool.. But I was lost later
Sorry to hear that Rifat.
I don't understand the open part
No tabs to read?
I put the tabs on the blog post. The link is in the description.
