This is one of the songs that moves and inspires me. Moving to Argentina at 10 years old (expat of 1965)... I was exposed to this insanely beautiful song! It changed my life. At one point I could play it; my parents had gifted me guitar lessons from the then most progressive concert guitar teacher in Buenos Aires of the time. I only wish I had known the value of my lessons, then.
It's because of the camera, I am not exactly sure if shutter speed has anything to do with or not but images in camera are scanned from top to bottom and left to right, one pixel at a time. That's why the string is at different positions when the image is scanned for every frame and it looks like a wave. You might not see the same effect on your camera because I think these videos have specific camera settings for these waves to happen.
The camera does work the same as the human eye. I believe what you are seeing in the strings is due to stroboscopic effects. These stroboscopic effects are showing standing waves on the strings. The effect is certainly interesting and dramatic. However, it might have been unintentional. The phenomenon is an artifact.
@@larrypicard5969 no man I am sure, I know what standing waves are. That's not it. When you do a harmonics on guitar that's when you get a standing wave, this is because of scanning the image from top to bottom. Also a camera and our eye does not work the same way 😅😅.

Wonderful how the camera frame rate capture the sound waves in the strings producing sound. A perfet visual demonstration of ondulatory theory in physics! No matter is transported, just waves...
@Paul Gratton It's proved by time but it's true that the double appearance of waves/particle is true only for electromagnetic fields, so that the light i.e., or all the spectrum from gamma rays to radio waves. Photon is the particle that appears under certain circumstances, so that ALL the matter can show a double reality, depending on how its properties are measured. Waves/particle. For which concern other waves, such as the sound one (from music to earthquakes) that's just waves, energy transport under form of apparent periodic movement.
For those who are confused by the strings, it has to do with the camera, its on a very high frame rate, so it gives the effect of crazy movement from the strings.

Today I received a video from his mother about his practicing the basic malaguena theme. Thanks! He want to learn this song. :) Nice challenge for the next 4-5 years for him. :D
Cool! I love when I hear that! Thank you so much I’m glad he is excited to play! for me it was Led Zeppelin :) But later John Williams on classical guitar.
Beautiful! I love fingerstyle guitar! The Dick Van Dyke show brought me here. Rob said he'd finish his novel just as soon as Jerry would learn to play Malaguena on guitar. Makes more sense now! 😂
His strings are fine, not loose at all. The camera used is giving them a "rolling shutter effect". Cameras with a certain kind of light sensor give this effect to very quickly moving objects, like plane propellers or guitar strings. This article explains it in detail if you're interested www.diyphotography.net/everything-you-wanted-to-know-about-rolling-shutter/ Beautiful playing, by the way.
This is so cool! Reminds me of my beloved Spaghetti Westerns movies! Cozy spot! Wish I was there for the entire life! Outstanding! Terrence Hill, Bud Spencer (R.I.P.), Franco Nero, George Hilton (R.I.P.), Clint Eastwood and Giuliano Gemma (R.I.P.), the legends movies theme soundtracks all reminiscent! 🚬🚬💯💯😎
Both are amazing in their own right. While it is amazing to make a guitar squeal on the 25th fret, there’s something primal, wholesome, and quiet about a single guitar captivating people with a tune with only the raw talent of the player to help.

This song is soul stirring. An absolute stellar rendition. So much feeling, so much emotion, so much energy, so much energy, so much love, so much prestige,
Like my uncle, Garcia y Reyna "Rumba". You're on my playlist! I'm following you! Fantastic performance!
Thank you so much I really appreciate that and I think you described it pretty accurate:)
I wanted to teach one of my nine years old guitar students the basic theme of malaguena. He didn’t practice any of the songs I showed him until he saw this clip. Today I received a video from his mother about his practicing the basic malaguena theme. Thanks! He want to learn this song. :)
Nice challenge for the next 4-5 years for him. :D
Cool! I love when I hear that!
Thank you so much I’m glad he is excited to play!
for me it was Led Zeppelin :)
But later John Williams on classical guitar.
This article explains it in detail if you're interested www.diyphotography.net/everything-you-wanted-to-know-about-rolling-shutter/
Beautiful playing, by the way.
thanks for the explanation, at some points i thought i was tripping balls looking at those strings!
@ eggwaffle lol i was thinking the exact same thing
This is so cool! Reminds me of my beloved Spaghetti Westerns movies! Cozy spot! Wish I was there for the entire life! Outstanding! Terrence Hill, Bud Spencer (R.I.P.), Franco Nero, George Hilton (R.I.P.), Clint Eastwood and Giuliano Gemma (R.I.P.), the legends movies theme soundtracks all reminiscent! 🚬🚬💯💯😎
Cant forget the King ..Yul Brenner 💞

@@michaellucarelli while u play amazing, it is missing the flamenco touch. No triplets, no golpes.....
Both are amazing in their own right. While it is amazing to make a guitar squeal on the 25th fret, there’s something primal, wholesome, and quiet about a single guitar captivating people with a tune with only the raw talent of the player to help.
Sensacional!!!!
Great thanks so much!
2:14 sounds like thunderstruck ac/dc
I thought your profile picture was an eyelash on my phone and tried to blow it off 😂
