  • A diy for making a basic clothes pin doll. This is an easy craft with lots of room for creativity!
    Materials:
CLOTHESPIN: there are clothespins made especially for doll making. I have found supplies shopping at Michael's, or you can find online at Micheal's by searching "clothespin" or "creatology flat wood clothespin." I have also found and ordered them at FactoryDirectCraft.com by searching "clothespin doll." FactoryDirectCraft will sometimes give you a small, free gift when you place an order like 5-6 beads.
HEAD BEAD: these are made to fit the clothespin dolls. The beads I used are "Darice Craft Wood Head Bead': you can find them by searching the internet by searching "Darice Craft Wood Head Bead" be sure to get the "head beads" with large holes; "Wood round beads" have holes that are too small- these are for beading on a string or something; they are not for clothespin dolls. I have found supplies shopping at Michael's, you can then at Micheal's online by searching "clothespin doll". I have also found and ordered them at
FactoryDirectCraft.com by searching "headbead." BE SURE TO GET HEAD BEADS; "WOOD ROUND BEADS" OFTEN HAVE HOLES THAT ARE TOO SMALL!
PIPE CLEANER in light brown (skin color)
PAINT or colored pencil to make face
GLUE: Hot Glue is fast but a good Craft Glue will work great too
