If Maria thinks what she did was out of love for Tyrone than it's a weird and twisted way to show it. Fiz does deserve him because she's a good, kind and loving young woman who was really there besides his friends to support him after everything that Kirsty had put him through.
Basically the story was Maria was suffering a breakdown of sorts after being betrayed badly by her b/f!! Doesn't sound too serious I know unless you know her past history: Lost a bay to stillbirth, then just 6 months later her husbsnd was killed in a hit & run which she later discovered was arranged by the jealous fiance of the woman her husband had been having an affair with!! The day of her husband's murder she had discovered she was pregnant again but never got chance to tell him!! Before discovering the identity of the murdererer she became very close to him as he helped her out a lot (initially out of guilt but he then fell in love with her) & she fell in love with him & they became engaged & he a father figure to her new born son!! She was understandably devastatedwhen the truth came out & the guy who had dumped her before this s/l was the first man she had really trusted since which is what made his betrayal so devastating for her!! The reason she became obsessed with Tyrone is ecause he was her first love & treated her right, unlike any other bloke since!! Sadly she became devious & twisted trying to get him back from Fiz & when his abusive ex was released from prison, after an initial misunderstanding over an innocent phone message which Ty thought was from his ex but was actually from Maria, Ty was unnerved & Maria exploited it & sent other messages which scared him so he leaned on her for support as Fiz was struggling to handle it all! It was as I say twisted & cruel but totally out of character & brought on by all the reasons I've given!! This video is obviously Ty just having discovered Maria was responsible!! Not her finest hour as a character, or for that matter the best written s/l ever but that's the best I can explain it for you guys who are asking!! I only bother because Maria is my favourite character & some of the comments on here are way wide of the mark!!
