Actually the CCL just come about in 2008 and the CCC was always their they just run with the term Champion league to see they get the CCC as big as Eurepe UEFA champion league .. and if you think about it Concacaf could have got sue from Uefa but its soocer and they want the Concacaf to grow. but Concacaf decide to use back old name Champion Cup ..

In the past CONCACAF has been a comedy of errors, but this new structure for club soccer looks as if they actually sat down and tired really hard to figure out what would be good for the region as well as what could be popular and make money. While not perfect, I believe they got a lot of things right here. I will be hoping that this new format is successful and results in advancing the game in the region.

Why not just expand the tournament to 64 teams. Divide the group stage into 3 regions with North America having 8 groups of 4, Central America 5 groups of 4, and the carribean in to 3 groups 4. Then the best two teams from every group go on to the round of 32 then go down from there until you get a champion. That way mls and liga mx teams play more games against each other, which is what they wanted all along, and the tournament would actually make sense.

While they do have access to the larger tournament through their own league and a shot through the domestic Canadian Championship/Voyageurs Cup, they are the only official, professional*, division I league which does not have access to a “regional” cup in this setup. (*= Bermuda & some of the Caribbean official division I’s don’t have access either but none of them are classed as professional- and that might just be a first year/current situation issue that is planned to get addressed in future editions). While the UNCAF & CFU “regional cup” competitions have some differences from each other, they have enough in common to get an overall idea and meaning for that term. Meanwhile the Leagues Cup is so different on several fronts from the other two that it doesn’t fit in the same category. I’m not opposed to the Leagues Cup nor even to it getting slots in the Champions Cup. But if the Leagues Cup is to be turned into an official “regional cup” alongside the other 2 it would need to make a pair of access changes that are counter to its stated design goals, OR it can continue as it’s own sui generis thing but just don’t refer to it as a “regional cup” because it’s not.

La estructura ideal para el fútbol mexicano: 1. Que los equipos dejen de ser franquicias y se conviertan en clubes de verdad, sin poder cambiar de ciudad. 2. Que acaben con el "Draft del fútbol mexicano. 3. Que regrese el ascenso/descenso y que sea entre todas las divisiones, no solo entre la Liga MX y el Ascenso MX. 4. Abandonar el sistema de torneos cortos y regresar a los torneos largos sin Liguilla. 5. Traer de vuelta la Copa MX, pero sin fase de grupos, con torneos largos, todas las fases en partido único (con la final siempre en el Azteca) y que la jueguen equipos de todas las divisiones, no solo de Liga MX y Ascenso MX. 6. Traer de vuelta la Supercopa MX, pero que la jueguen el campeón de la Liga MX y el de la Copa MX (que se jugarían en torneos largos) y que se juegue en el Azteca y no en EE.UU. 7. Que la organización de todas las divisiones (Liga MX, Ascenso MX y Liga Premier) sea responsabilidad de la Femexfut y no de ligas separadas. 8. Adecuación del calendario, abandonando el europeo y adoptando el mismo de Sudamérica, EE.UU. y Canadá.

Ya antes se intentó la concachampions con fase de grupos y fue un torneo espantoso, la mayoría de los equipos de centroamérica no puede jugar en sus estadios locales, por falta de alumbrado, césped en buenas condiciones, etcétera, pocos aficionados asistían a ver equipos locales, nada más los grandes metían gente, también en México los partidos contra los de centro América son de baja convocatoria, estos novatos que empezaron a ver la concachampions son muy inocentes, no solo porque lo hace Europa se puede aplicar en concachampions, cada confederación tiene sus cosas, se excitan demasiado con cualquier cosa que hagan los europeos.
@@gregweatherup9596 Belize got 9 teams in total so if one wins their league that team goes straight to the main tournament then the those that 2nd and third etc, (depending how many in the tournament from one country permitted) will go straight to the other tournaments and others have a playoff. This just an example as depending on places in their league and how many can go to one tournament. Some smaller countries in Europe have to go through this process. European countries don’t even make it to the champions league even if they top their group in their league. Much better system.

Example, the EPL, 4 teams go to the UCL, may be 5 if one of from Europa which officially only has 2 teams, and one wins Europa then that team automatically qualified for UCL. Other teams are determined by the domestic cups which they have a playoff with teams from another country. Two places, 7 and 8 placed in the EPL go in the conference league but more can take part, like fair play etc. Belize really should have 1 or 2 teams representing them as their league is only one and no other. The team that win the league or the one that wins the league cup. If both are won by one team then it can be decided by the team that comes second in the league. That’s just an opinion.

Take away 1 of the CPL's automatic berths and make it a two leg play-off between USLC and CPL. Or bring back the CONCACAF League and give the USL a berth in that. There's no reason why 25% of an 8 team league should be getting entry into the CCC when another 25% of them are financially insolvent

The other team "York United" Just had their owners sell the club and the CSA (Canadian soccer Association) is in find of new owners. Finding new owners ain't equal to going financially insolvent. York united literally signed the most amount of players than any other CPL club, I don't think so a financially insolvent club will be able to do that.

Concacaf added more MLS teams because they want teams from that league to compete in the Fifa Club World Cup. Since Liga MX teams usually qualify in the Fifa tournament, they created the "Leagues Cup" so MLS teams can compete with them more often and study their tactics.
There are 10 MLS and 6 Liga MX teams participating in this competition. Leagues Cup should’ve never been a qualifier into the competition, especially with MLS getting home field advantage in it. Just shows how trash CONCACAF is. Know wonder AFC and CAF have better TV deals.

@@gbroyce55 The one left out is the Canadian Premier League. While they do have access to the larger tournament through their own league and a shot through the domestic Canadian Championship/Voyageurs Cup, they are the only official, professional*, division I league which does not have access to a “regional” cup in this setup. (*= Bermuda & some of the Caribbean official division I’s don’t have access either but none of them are classed as professional- and that might just be a first year/current situation issue that is planned to get addressed in future editions).
While the UNCAF & CFU “regional cup” competitions have some differences from each other, they have enough in common to get an overall idea and meaning for that term. Meanwhile the Leagues Cup is so different on several fronts from the other two that it doesn’t fit in the same category.
I’m not opposed to the Leagues Cup nor even to it getting slots in the Champions Cup. But if the Leagues Cup is to be turned into an official “regional cup” alongside the other 2 it would need to make a pair of access changes that are counter to its stated design goals, OR it can continue as it’s own sui generis thing but just don’t refer to it as a “regional cup” because it’s not.

Así que la copa abierta de los estados unidos tiene un cupo, vaya que descaro al fin y al cabo la MLS tiene la misma cantidad de cupos que la liga MX y aún pueden tener más por la leagues cup. En fin México ni siquiera tiene copa ni descenso, espero que se pongan las pilas por que es aburrido solo ver el torneo local sin copa nacional donde por lo menos puedan competir los del ascenso MX que ya va en picada. ¿Dónde puedo sugerir ideas para la liga MX ya que al parecer están bien jodidos del cerebro no les alcanza para pensar y estructurar el fútbol mexicano. 😢🥵. La estructura ideal para el fútbol mexicano:
1. Que los equipos dejen de ser franquicias y se conviertan en clubes de verdad, sin poder cambiar de ciudad.
2. Que acaben con el "Draft del fútbol mexicano.
3. Que regrese el ascenso/descenso y que sea entre todas las divisiones, no solo entre la Liga MX y el Ascenso MX.
4. Abandonar el sistema de torneos cortos y regresar a los torneos largos sin Liguilla.
5. Traer de vuelta la Copa MX, pero sin fase de grupos, con torneos largos, todas las fases en partido único (con la final siempre en el Azteca) y que la jueguen equipos de todas las divisiones, no solo de Liga MX y Ascenso MX.
6. Traer de vuelta la Supercopa MX, pero que la jueguen el campeón de la Liga MX y el de la Copa MX (que se jugarían en torneos largos) y que se juegue en el Azteca y no en EE.UU.
7. Que la organización de todas las divisiones (Liga MX, Ascenso MX y Liga Premier) sea responsabilidad de la Femexfut y no de ligas separadas.
8. Adecuación del calendario, abandonando el europeo y adoptando el mismo de Sudamérica, EE.UU. y Canadá.
Yo copiaria el Estilo de UEFA, haría 3 Competencias para La Concacaf con el formato de la Misma Concacaf

Ya antes se intentó la concachampions con fase de grupos y fue un torneo espantoso, la mayoría de los equipos de centroamérica no puede jugar en sus estadios locales, por falta de alumbrado, césped en buenas condiciones, etcétera, pocos aficionados asistían a ver equipos locales, nada más los grandes metían gente, también en México los partidos contra los de centro América son de baja convocatoria, estos novatos que empezaron a ver la concachampions son muy inocentes, no solo porque lo hace Europa se puede aplicar en concachampions, cada confederación tiene sus cosas, se excitan demasiado con cualquier cosa que hagan los europeos.
@@gregweatherup9596 Belize got 9 teams in total so if one wins their league that team goes straight to the main tournament then the those that 2nd and third etc, (depending how many in the tournament from one country permitted) will go straight to the other tournaments and others have a playoff.
This just an example as depending on places in their league and how many can go to one tournament. Some smaller countries in Europe have to go through this process. European countries don’t even make it to the champions league even if they top their group in their league. Much better system.
@@jeromemanoharan7427 I think you missed my (mostly tongue-in-cheek) point. This proposal gives Belize 9 slots, but there’s only 8 teams in Belize (all 8 in div I, with no lower divisions nor any national open professional cup in the country).

Example, the EPL, 4 teams go to the UCL, may be 5 if one of from Europa which officially only has 2 teams, and one wins Europa then that team automatically qualified for UCL. Other teams are determined by the domestic cups which they have a playoff with teams from another country. Two places, 7 and 8 placed in the EPL go in the conference league but more can take part, like fair play etc.
Belize really should have 1 or 2 teams representing them as their league is only one and no other. The team that win the league or the one that wins the league cup. If both are won by one team then it can be decided by the team that comes second in the league. That’s just an opinion.

Take away 1 of the CPL's automatic berths and make it a two leg play-off between USLC and CPL. Or bring back the CONCACAF League and give the USL a berth in that. There's no reason why 25% of an 8 team league should be getting entry into the CCC when another 25% of them are financially insolvent
The 8-team league is the official First Division league of Canada, the other is a Division two tournament...

@@CaptainXD CPL only had 1 team go financially insolvent and that is fc Edmonton. The other team "York United" Just had their owners sell the club and the CSA (Canadian soccer Association) is in find of new owners. Finding new owners ain't equal to going financially insolvent. York united literally signed the most amount of players than any other CPL club, I don't think so a financially insolvent club will be able to do that.

No, that's how you create a bankrupt person. Same goes with a company that spends too much. The fact that the owners couldn't actually find anyone willing to buy in speaks volumes about how successful most investors think the CPL will be.
For the record, I hope it improves because I want MLS to have competition. But in its current state, it does not deserve 2 guaranteed Concacaf Champions Cup spots (plus the possibility of 1 more via the Canadian Championship) when better leagues in Honduras, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and the rest of Central America have to fight for a total 6, with none guaranteed.

Concacaf added more MLS teams because they want teams from that league to compete in the Fifa Club World Cup.
Since Liga MX teams usually qualify in the Fifa tournament, they created the "Leagues Cup" so MLS teams can compete with them more often and study their tactics.
Mls have 5 spots .
There are 10 MLS and 6 Liga MX teams participating in this competition. Leagues Cup should’ve never been a qualifier into the competition, especially with MLS getting home field advantage in it. Just shows how trash CONCACAF is. Know wonder AFC and CAF have better TV deals.
But also which clubs verse which specific clubs?
